Text to Speech

So far there's no limit to what the text-to-speech would read. There is no censorship and the ads can be easily skipped. It does have trouble reading certain phrases and slang terms, as it would just spell out the letters rather than the actual wording. A simple app for a simple read without the advanced AI voices and quality of life settings.

This app is great! I temporary lost my voice and this has been a huge time saver. No writing, erasing, or wasting paper, or pens/markers. Seriously glad I found this. It also makes replies a bit more funny. With punctuation and breaking up words I've managed to add a little bit of tone to it. So far no trouble will pesky adds, and for that I'm thankful. It's simple, user friendly and perfectly understandable (so far). It does exactly what I needed it to do!

Best Text to Speech app. They don't limit your usage of the features by holding the whole app hostage until you pay for a subscription. They use ads to free up the app usage. I love that. I'll soon buy the app just because I don't need to have a stupid subscription. Plus I can listen to my bible notes while my phone is off with this app and I love that! really good app!

I'm giving this app a solid 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟🌟because it does exactly what I need it to do and it does it well. It doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles but I wasn't looking for eye candy. I was shopping for a really good document reader and I found just what I needed in this one. All the reviews were correct about not having it loaded down with ads. I purchased the license anyway because I like to support the developer when I find a polished gem of an app.

There's only 1 voice option(Google robot voice) and it sucks. I wish it had one of those fancy voice options that those other expensive apps have. Oh well, at least this one is 100% free and I don't need to pay hundreds of $ a year just to use this app occasionally. I also enjoyed the mechanics of this app a lot. When you add your web link, it pulls up the text and most importantly, you can choose which part you want to be voiced out.

I have severe ADHD. I struggle to write my book, songs, and read. This helps me out a lot in so many ways. And it's free. The speech voice is nice and fluent. The voice is not too robotic, and I actually like the sound of it. Thank you for this. Other apps charge you, and they aren't even as easy to simple to use as this one. Thanks, Text To Speach.

This app is AMAZING. After searching for HOURS for a good text to speech app that would let me import files including entire Google Docs documents and not just have to copy and paste, I came across this one. It's completely free, I've had no ads and the voice isn't overly annoying or fast. It's also very straightforward and easy to use. No more going on a wild goose chase just to use the app! Super happy with this, it works exactly as I needed it for. 10/10 would recommend!

This app seemed easy enough to use, but as soon as I opened it, there were some ads that I wasn't expecting. There was a couple that was 3/4s naked on a couch together. Two more that were actually for applying eyeliner, but at first glance it looked like it was something being put between a woman's legs. Then there was a woman in nothing but a bikini that matched her skin tone so it looked like she was naked if you didn't look twice. I promptly uninstalled this and will find a different app.

I spent a long time looking for an app that could just read some of my story documents and journals aloud to help me better my writing skills. I almost have up when I found this app. I love how simple and easy it is to use, and I almost never see ads. Highly recommend, hope they don't start monetizing it like crazy like the other apps, cuz this is all I could find that acrually worked for what I needed.

I had a Galaxy Note 8 and a text to speech program that would have a little bubble pop up on the side after highlighting whatever text you wanted it to read and all you had to do was tap on that bubble and then you could hear the text that you had highlighted. That was by far and away the best and I really got used to it after having my Note 8 for almost 8 years. I can't find anything like that now, but this works pretty well. if anybody knows of a program like the one I had mentioned I would...

First impressions REALLY good. I didn't even look at the FAQ, just a quick glance at settings (dark mode, yay). A suggestion: something like a floating button that would allow TTS on any screen, rather than requiring copypaste and leaving the app you're in. Some apps lose your place immediately on being backgrounded, others don't allow copying text. These would make it worth paying for (from what I've seen on day 1). And I'm a scrooge about paying for apps, very picky indeed.

Downloaded this app when I had severe tonsillitis and couldn't talk. Worked wonders for talking to my 3 year old, and was pleased with the speech speed being adjustable so he could understand it. Works offline, so no worries when out and about, but haven't used any features except the most basic. I think it's one for keeping, just in case!

ok app. ads are not intrusive or obnoxious. copy/paste text into app to read. only, for me, the voices are still too robotic. I listen to a LOT during the day, and the robotic pitch of the voice options becomes annoying to listen to after an hour.

It's terrible and a struggle to use, especially if you're using it to read something out loud, it only has a 6000 word capacity and randomly pauses while it's playing so I have to manually go to the menu on my phone and 'reload' it. Terrible, don't download.

Awesome, simple to use app! Saves time, increases productivity and improves accuracy. Eliminate the ads and support the developers - get the upgrade for a nominal price. The choice of the default Wav file for saved transcripts, or an optional Mp3 would be a welcome update. Much success! 😀

This is very decent. good voices. takes more characters (words) than almost all the other apps. it's free. downloads are unlimited without having to subscribe to premium first. best of all is... online there are no adds and it works offline.

Dear Developer, i have written several lines, and i wanted to chose which one to be spoken by using the left and right arrows that are around the Play button, but the arrows end up jumping to random places instead of linearly following the list sequence.

Just what I was looking for - Something, FREE, Simple, and Compatible with my phone (android). I extremely appreciate how seamlessly well it works with my phones operating system, as well as how user friendly the app is. It allows me to perform without issue simple functions like playing, pausing, fast forwarding, and rewinding. In addition to this, the user is able to perform multiple tasks without interruption with its ability to play overtop apps in the background (even when my phone is off)

Great voice, and the sound is clear and understandable. No robotic voice but normal and natural voice. Excellent works. I have been using text to speech for a while, and this one is very good.

simple, easy to use. saved me today when I was on vocal rest from laryngitis and lost my voice. you can adjust speed and pitch, not much else, but the simplicity was just what I needed.
