This game is great! Pricing is perfectly reasonable and one time. Only notes I would have is that I would love to have an allied victory option in online games. I enjoy team games with friends and we don't want to have to turn on each other at the end. Also an 8 to 10hr turn limit game would be a nice option, something between 24hrs and 30 seconds. Also Cymanti is not quite balanced. All in all still 5 stars. Definitely one of the best games on the app store. I recommend it all the time.

Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. Good skill tree system, interesting civilizations, good randomly generated worlds, and solid multiplayer. There are only two things that I dislike; having to purchase something to unlock multiplayer, and somewhat repetitive gameplay. However, despite these minor downsides, this game has a certain charm to it that makes it stand out from other strategy games, and I'm always searching for that bit of uniqueness in games. Keep up the good work!

Honestly pretty interesting game. Fun! And you just play against AI. You can completely ignore the multiplayer. Completely free to play, you pay for different tribes that start with different skills but it's completely optional. I ended up buying a few cause I liked the game, wanted to support it. The special tribes add more randomness to the game, keeping it fresh, but can be disabled if you want to play classic!

The quintessential app I always install first on any device, I have been playing this game for probably close to 10 years now. It is amazing, the gameplay is simple but not mindless, and every match is a different experience. All of the different tribes have different starts and some have new game mechanics which always keep it fresh, and the prices are low. I'd give the developers more money if I hadn't bought everything already. If you like strategy, this is a MUST HAVE

The Battle of Polytopia is a phenomenal game, especially by mobile game standards. It is a high strategy game featuring everything you could possibly want: Adjustable AI bots, multiple maps, clans and has multiplayer capabilities. Despite the fact that you have to pay for the game, and then pay for other tribes to play, it is still well worth every penny you spend. And the cherry on top is that the dev team is constantly giving new content updates that won't leave you disappointed.

I've been looking for a spiritual successor to Heroes of Might and Magic on mobile for a long time, and this game really slides into that groove in a satisfying way. My inclination wouldn't be to call it great, but it's so solidly GOOD in almost every way that I still love it. Cost: $1-3 per extra race/nation, which also increases maximum players on a map. This effectively limits you to spending around $20 to max out purchases, and I'm very pleased after about $6 (I wanted to check out the

I keep coming back to this fun little strategy game. It feels a bit like a watered-down version of Civilization - and that's not at all a bad thing. The rules are streamlined, the bots actually progress in difficulty, and the versus system works well. The graphics are so fun, too! Idk if I would call them "cute", but they're minimalist without being boring and tbh they're very unique. Keep it up, artists and devs! This is a great game!

A great strategy game with a diversity of ways to play and a 3-star rating system to gauge your skill level for each set of characters. You can play a faster round to kill some time or choose an 'infinite' game to play for hours (depending on the difficulty). The best part, tho? NO ADS. You can purchase additional civilizations for more variety or advanced game play, but they're entirely optional. This is one of my favorite mobile games by far.

Feature suggestion (as a third option to Perfection or Dominance): Once you control an enemy's capital, all its cities should convert. A fun, turn-based, strategy game with a good design. So glad to find a game that I can sit down and play a boardgame style game (with a winner and the game ends) without having to wait hours for timers to unlock new technologies in an endless plot. I wish I could find more games like this.

I love the game. The only complaint I have is that it doesn't let you play with random people. I bought a tribe to be able to play with friends, and that did happen, but I found out that the only way to play with someone without the Pass and Play option (being right next to each other and passing one phone between yourselves) was for you both to buy a tribe and add each other, which sucks. I was looking forward to being able to play with a lot more people. Adding a true multiplayer would be great

Very well made. Fun Pass And Play option. FYI for new users, if you are looking for an online multiplayer, you are required to purchase one of their tribe options-some are cheap, only about .99, and the others I think only reach maybe 1.99 or 2.99. I recommend to all new users to try a single player mode with maybe 1-2 opponent bots to get the gist of the rules and figure out which tribe you like before you proceed to multiplayer, but it is a blast and rather addictive!

Fun little battle game. No complaints. If I might make a recommendation to the creators. A button that can be toggled to hide or make visible terrain would be great for tactical purposes. I find I lose track of my guys and enemies. Easy to have happen as enemies blend into the surroundings. Being able to "hide" basically all rss (forests farms, etc) to have a blank map with just units and cities would be huge.

Cute charming strategy game. Gonna say that i'm biased due to my heavy nostalgia for this game, but it still holds up well! It's very basic so anyone can get into it, yet has tons of depth with achievments, classes, etc. Not going to be something you'll play for long periods, as it sadly gets stale after a game or two due to the basicness, but for a game to pull up now and then on a trip it's great. Overall, great game, though to get more depth per game you'll need to buy the special classes.

Very addictive. Lots of fun. You can pick from several different tribes for free, but there are other tribes that you can get and keep if you buy them. ( Not expensive at all ) I really enjoy the creative customized map and game play. I can choose how easy or hard the game is, and in turn decide if it will be a quick battle or a long calculated war. I have had battle games that I finished in one day, and I've had other battle games that took me more than 6 days to finish. Very fun. 👍

I've played this game for a long time. It's great. However, after the latest update which have us diplomacy, I have yet to get through a single game without the game just locking up. It's weird, it's not frozen in the typical sense. I can still select a unit and the game shows the valid moves, I just can't move the piece, or any other piece. I can't end the turn either. I've restarted the game and when I open it up again I'm in the same situation. Restarting the phone is the same.

Best game on Android and iOS. I've played for roughly 3 years now, own most of the tribes and still play multiple times a week. By far the most legitimate strategy game for those who like a territory and military experience. Buying the tribes is actually worth it as they all bring something different to the table. Games are super sweaty (I play on crazy vs all opponents) and it's quite refreshing to get challenged and constantly evolve tactics. 5/5, a perfect app for strategic players.

Excellent game that feels like a light version of Civilization. My children and I play it every day. I purchased all the extra tribes and would buy more if there were more available. Would love to have a co-op/team mode in pass-and-play where two or more tribes could join together as allies, as well as the ability to customize (increase) map size for longer games. Kudos to the developer for crafting such a fun, replayable, well-balanced game. My family enjoy many happy hours playing it together.

Hello! I do not normally write reviews of apps. However, I had to make an exception for this game. I'm a huge fan of the Civilizations games and other types of turn-based strategy games.I was disappointed that I could not find a quality turn-based strategy game for my phone. However, The Battle Of Polytopia, scratched my itch for a mobile turn-based game. I would love to see other types of victories, such as science or culture, come to the game. Nevertheless, this is a great game.

Other than the obvious Cymanti being OP flaw, this game is great. The best way to describe it would be like if Chess meets Rise of Kingdoms in semi-8-bit form. It's challenging at times, but I definitely recommend it if you're looking for something to keep you busy. (Also ps, i wish I'd had known about it sooner, but if you're broke, you should get Google Opinion Rewards, which is an app that gives you money to answer surveys. Its not a lot but it'll be enough to get new tribes if you want.)

It's a lot of fun! The amount of characters packed behind a pay wall is sightly disappointing, but I enjoyed the game enough to buy a few of them. It's an addicting game, great for short pick up and play sessions. I hope it gets new content or gameplay soon though, I'm getting a little tired of replaying the same game in a different order every time.
