The Container Store

No issues with the app itself. The shopping experience is horrible tho. Love Container Store, placed an in store pickup order and only after do I find out it's going to be 3 weeks for a simple plastic bin! REALLY???? They had them in store, I know because I scanned the product to add it to my wishlist. I understand 2-3 days for an order maybe. THREE WEEEEEEEKKKKKKSSSS?????? Is Container Store going the way of Bed Bath and Beyond? When's the bankruptcy sale?

Dreadful experience. I'd give it 0 stars if I could. Used the app after receiving CS email promoting it. No sign of my order. Turns out their system lost some orders the day we placed ours. CS didn't reach out to the customers on their email list about this. Now it's on me to find that promo email to get the discount and then work with them over the phone to place the order again. What a waste of time!!! Never again will I use this horrid app. Might never shop at CS again either.

It took me about a dozen different approaches and deleting and redownloading this app four times for it to finally allow me to log in. I had to click on "email preferences," and then it finally let me log in via a browser. From the other reviews, it looks like this problem has existed for about a year, if not longer.

This app is a complete PoS. Of course since it is truly just an emulation of their poorly designed website and horrible shopping cart experience it is on par with the website. When updating quantities of an item in the cart the cart will dissappear (inconsistently) say the cart is empty and then cearte multiple items for the same item with different quantities. It seems it was programmed by people that never tested the website or the app. It's beyond annoying and time consuming. 🤦

Signs you out every five seconds and doesn't save login info, also no biometric login - super annoying. The save for later section in the cart has also randomly disappeared. No new product catagory to shop from that is available on the website. However, the app is very nice and polished looking and it's nice when it's working properly.

Can browse and see inventory with the app. When trying to place orders it just keeps spinning and going back to the confirm order page, no errors, it just never processes the order. I had to use the website.

Horrible app, -100 stars. Hardly functional, won't allow me to sign in with new password. I've reset password 3 times and always reset it to the same thing but it won't allow me to sign in, claiming wrong password. Keeps adding random items to my cart and removing the items I want. Don't waste your time, the only thing you'll get in return is frustration and elevated cholesterol. I've shopped here only a few times with different accounts, but likely never again now. Ikea is better anyway.

It says there's 38 reviews of this app and I can only see 12... App signs me out while I'm actively using it...often. The favorites harts pop up, then go away so I can't favorite anything. I can't add anything to my wishlist without adding it to the cart first. Once items are in the cart they sometimes won't add my wishlist. This app is NOT user-friendly. Please make fixes!

Love this store and the app works great! Payment was easy and went smoothly! They even find the best offer for you and apply it, but give you the option to change it multiple times! I LOVE to go into the store but it can be overwhelming (I have kids), the app took all of that feeling away! Try it! You won't be disappointed!!!

Overall, I really like this app and how it simplifies shopping at the Container Store. I use curbside pickup frequently, and the app makes it quicker and easier than before. And, I love being able to quickly access previous orders. For me, the app runs smoothly and quickly. My only complaint, and it's a big one, is that you have to sign in every time you use it. And, there's a pretty short window if you haven't been using it before it kicks you out.

I downloaded the app hoping I would have a different experience than the website. It has its own set of problems. The website has errors logging in and I haven't been able to check my account in over a year, never mind seeing order history. The wishlist feature does not work at all. I have to make screenshots of what I want to get... after I am able to create a functional cart... I gave the app 2 stars because I was able to access my old cart a d delete items when website doesn't.

Installed latest app update 8/12. Nothing changed. Still unable to sign-in. Doesn't go beyond the home page. Unusable. Download, install, launch, attempt to sign-in., clear cache, force close, delete data, update, and repeat. Doesn't work. Back to using web browser.

So frustrating that they continue to listen items that are not only out of stock/on backorder but also items they no longer carry and don't plan to offer again. I get my hopes up and it's not until you start to check out that you realize you can't have what you wanted!

Worst app ever!!! TCS needs to do a better job with this app. Incidentally, an upgrade to the app was recently done, I guess, to improve the app. It is absolutely the worst ! When going from one page to another or viewing an item, an error message keeps popping up saying, "something went wrong." Yes, something went wrong! The implementation of the app needs a HUGE IMPROVEMENT. It is so frustrating! Contain yourself, TCS!

I updated the Container Store app and then shopped for the one item I want. 1) I had to change my Store twice to make Nashville my preferred location. 2) I made my selection and hit Add to Cart but it was never added to the cart. I repeated the process 4 or 5 times with no success.

App is not functional. Have to frequently sign in just to be booted out again. Can't add anything to my wishlist. Scared of trying to order anything via the app based on other people's reviews stating orders have been lost.. If I could, I would give zero stars.

Simple product views and easy to use. The checkout process was really easy once I logged in. Ive used the app multiple times now and I appreciate that it saved my store card for easy checkout.

You have to re-sign in every single time you open the app. It does not save your login info and there is no biometric login. It is extremely annoying to get signed out constantly! This makes the app seem very outdated.

The app often refuses to add things to the cart, and constantly signs you out seemingly at random. There's no real point in downloading it unless you want a slightly inconvenient catalog that you can't order from.

Skip this! Just use the website. There's no point to a shopping app that won't let you add items to your cart and won't keep you logged in. I hate how many stores have non-functioning apps. What a waste of time.
