The Coupons App - since 2008

This app was not particularly easy to use. It also doesn't really lend itself to coupons nearly as much, but rather "price watching" like deals currently in stores. Stores send out enough ads that I really don't need that- what I wanted was to be able to find targeted coupons, and this app did not to provide that, or at least not in an easily accessible manner. To answer the developer: it doesn't matter how many times you say that, it does not change what my experience was upon using the app.

I love this app because you really do get great discounts. Nonetheless, I checked this app every time I order food to see which restaurants have a discount code for the week. In addition, I also, like that you can try all kinds of different free samples. Furthermore, you also can go as far as finding out what current settlements you can participate in. In conclusion, this coupon app is like no other because it exceeds so much more than just deep discounts.

I was skeptical seeing the reviews, but thought I would give it a try. This app is free! You have the option to purchase this ad free. I have yet to physically use the coupons seeing how I just installed it. I have found so many coupons I will use and even coupons for "free" food item or something. I have not had an issues yet, it's actually pretty simple to use. Dont knock something down until you try it yourself.

Great app. It's fairly easy to use once you get the hang of it and has all your deals, samples, and freebies (unless you're in a rural area where none are really available which is not the fault of the app). The ads can sometimes be distracting but they're fine. If you're trying to save money or just like free samples and deals, this is definitely an app I recommend getting. Also the notifications are once daily and do not get annoying. I do wish the free sample list updated more often.

Loving this app! My favorite part is the free section! I wish I could afford ad free! I think more ppl would be inclined to pay for ad free , if for example, it cost a couple dollars a month. Then, you'd earn more money in the long run (assuming the current 14.99 is a one time fee.) I love the gas price indicator. And I love getting alerts on my phone telling me when new coupons have hit. It's like having all the coupons available on the web in one place!

LOVE this app!! It's SUPER EASY to use and does SOO MUCH for you! It'll help you find tons of sales, deals, promo codes, etc. when you're looking and when you're not looking, just in case, the app reminds you, with a notification, to take a peek at the best deals each day!!!! Plus it'll even add the best promo codes in for you so you don't forget or put in the wrong one! And it offers ways for you to get the perks without you even having to pay or hardly lift a finger!!

great app for finding all the best deals around! I can't help but to notice all the negative reviews and while most of you just like to complain, you're also not understanding the app. you don't mostly have an option to print coupons because it's a deal finder for places that are offering these deals in store. it breaks it down so you're not having to search all over the web OR it provides a PROMO CODE as needed. I'm tired of reading whiney comments.

For the coupons, I like having it available when I need it. But for the app itself, annoying notifications and running in the background made me uninstalled this. I've turned off notifications, uncheck the app to run in the background, and many other! but as soon as the phone reboots, it will pop up notification even with the settings off!

Way too many intrusive ads! I get that's the way they make money to be able to offer the app for free, but ads pop up like every 20 seconds and are sometimes interrupted by an additional ad. I attempted to use this app for 10 min and my stress and frustration level was through the roof just trying to set it up. And if you don't allow it permission for you location, contacts, or calendar, it will continually ask you. Deleting it from my device with zero regret.

So many functions, up to date, I check it pretty often. This app is for people that like to save, for people that like to coupon. I used it so to know what's new or what's going on. Great app, let's you know about active deals that most people don't know about. I use it to view deals on groupon and to see nearby free stuff, too. Great and handy app!

This app is too much time than it's worth for me. I get notifications for stores I'm interested in, but the app doesn't show them when I tap on them to open in the app, or as a list at all. I also can't spell the entirety of a business to get a specific one. If I want something I have to tap mid-word. To top it all off the button labelled "Help" only directs you to email. There's no Help section. I don't want to bother with all of this, so I'm uninstalling.

I LOVE The Coupons App because it gives me really great daily deals and coupons for places and things I use every day like Amazon, Ulta Beauty, restaurants, The Dollar general & so much more! It also lets me know where the cheapest gas nearby is at so that I can go fill up my tank for less! Another cool feature for this app is that you can type in my ZIP code and it lets you know when and where free stuff is like dressers, couches & other furniture and household items that you can go pick up!

I love this app! It is by far my favorite and the best couponing app! You can pick and choose what stores is your favorite to shop at! Also if you have your eye on just one product that you want, you can be updated when the price drops! I request notifications everyday! The notifications let me know what is all on sale that day from clothing to food, etc! If you have not downloaded this app yet, I suggest you to do so! So, what are you waiting for, scroll up and click the install button!

Update: I canceled it this app and uninstalled it on the same day of this review and I was charged anyway. I frequently purchase Vital Protein. You can buy 24 oz of it from Costco for $36. Costco is listed as a retailer that this app works with, but when you look up that particular protein by name, their price doesn't show. The cheapest one I was able to find a 24 oz was $40. They never mention Costco. I hate apps like this.

Love this app and its super user friendly layout I make sure to always check it out before I go shopping or even just to window shop deals and coupons! I also give it a glance through right before checking out and its saved me unexpected cash more than once! Always has a good variety of my most frequented local stores! the cheapest gas feature is also a helpful tool which we have used on several occasions, and it has always helped us stay within our budget on fuel costs!

this app has gone way down hill lately. hardly anything on it. NONE of its free stuff is accurate! it's all free stuff is months old, at best, before you get the notification. total scam these days. use to be decent. horrible now don't download and if have it already then delete to save space.

It is becoming a complicated app, and the flyers make the app look so rubbish. The interface of the app is terrible. Hard to figure out to what to do with the app and how to use it. Also, the most frustrating thing is I'm getting a local store (Circle K) flyers notification. It annoys the heck out of me. I tried searching the store and I cannot block it since I couldn't find it. Additionally, ads everywhere. I use less this app, but the more I see are the ads, ads, flyers. Deleting soon.

You're still not using "Allow Only While In Use" . I do not wish my battery to be drained by locations/GPS being on continually. Failure to allow "Allow Only While In Use" in your app, has gotten you app the worst review allowed. And you do not need to have access to my contact list. Major fail. I have deleted The Coupon App from my phone!!! I don't care. Changing to "Always Allow Location" drains data and the battery faster. Still an epic fail and I will not redownload your app until you fix it

I love saving money in today's world wherever and whenever possible, because let's face it nothing is reasonably priced anymore. It's price gouging everywhere you turn due to all these companies having to out due their competitors. It's no longer focused on the customer's, and fair pricing for value of items. It has become all about who can make the most money. So apps like this I absolutely love for that very reason they have so many coupons for so many different things.

Update: Working now. Have loved this app & all the deals & free samples it's given me over the 10+ years I've been using it. The new update however leaves much to be desired. The app no longer seems work. It opens, but unable to scroll, not sure what is wrong. No update available, tried clearing cache, as well as a forced stop, without success. Saw some others have posted reviews that the app wasn't working for them. Left them a message on Facebook messenger and just got an automated response.
