The National - UAE, World News

Endless Repetition Of The Same Stories! At first it looks like there are many articles, however as you scroll down you find that there are actually only several but that they just keep repeating further down. The quality of the writing is often poor as well: grammatical errors, bad or incorrect use of idioms (and this is when the article is supposedly credited to native English-speakers). Overall nowhere near as good as a proper journalism source, but still better than all other Gulf-based news.

The National is a great News App. I have enjoyed it for sometime now. I would like to invite all news lovers around the world to consider having The National News App downloaded on their phone and tablets as one of their go-to News sources. I hope to continue to enjoy the App if it stays free for everyone. However, I would like to suggest that the The National News App be improved upon, especially the interface, the drop-down menu and the over all design, and be less data consuming.

When going back from an article, the app should not return to the top of the articles. Stay fixed till the place the user has scrolled. Also, no night mode Edit - I see you have replied saying issue is fixed, it's not. Only sometimes it remembers scroll location. Most of the times it just goes back to the start. Your developer should thoroughly test before releasing app. Or he should use it himself daily to realize all the shortcomings of his work.

I very much appreciate the National and keeping updated om UAE news and information, however I've been struggling a lot lately with the typeface for news stories that is virtually impossible to focus on or easily read. I'm about to abandon this app, but I hope it can be updated to a new font soon.

I enjoy this news app because it offers articles on a range of topics, is current and I can often get a fresh or different perspective versus other news sources.

Now again when I swipe back to where I left it takes me to the top of the page. The problem still occurs. And there is no dark mode in this app, so much outdated app

Looks like the app is down since July 1. Can't open any news.. even uninstalled and installed again. Still same issue. Developers kindly fix this issue asap..

Does not response to touch. I tried several times tapping on the headlines to read the story but couldn't open it. Make my phone hot. Don't know why it is sucking all the power of phone.

After the recent changes to the UI/UEX, the app started to drain data like crazy (2.33GB used and I'm not even listening to pod casts or watching videos) please fix this The issue is still not fixed 😒

App has stopped working. Please advise if this is temporary or permanent or related to people not having the most recent phones.

You can read only headline and the detailed news never gets opened . The app is not light and consuming more data and no output .

The news appearance of the theme is good. But not at all receiving headline notification (push notification)

The app keep crashing. And now it doesn't open at all, even if you uninstall and reinstall

Very useful and informative app. I always rely on "The National News" to know what is going on around me.

It's gone backwards again. Now you can't bookmark anything and layout not user friendly.

App has not worked for the last 2 days- "oops something went wrong". Usually a decent enough app.

App has stopped suddenly since yesterday. Tried reinstalling the app but to no avail..

It worked for a few days then showed something went wrong and didnt dispay other info.

Really love the new look and feel of the app! Feels much more lightweight and faster.

Best to get news from a number of sources! WSJ and NYT are agenda driven now. So multiple sources are necessary. This is a good one.
