THINKWARE DASH CAM LINK

I paid for a more expensive higher-end – cam because I wanted great video, which it has, &to Simply Be able to connect to it wirelessly and check recordings here and there. I don't mind waiting a min for it to connect but once you do you can't play back video it glitches and since it's recording in 4k, it takes a couple MINUTES just to download 1 file which is about a minute long which means you'd have to sit in your car for 30 minutes just to go through some footage wirelessly, WITH motor on

My actual rating is - 0 not 1 Star. Doesn't connect most of the time. I spent $370 for the equipment & installation. Definitely not worth it. The place that I purchased this from said that they're no longer going to be a vendor for Thinkware because the app doesn't work therefore the equipment is useless and he's not going to sell something that customers can't use. Thinkware is on it's way to being out of business. There are far more superior products on the market.

This is one of the most expensive car cameras on the market and everything about this experience has been basic. It needs a scroll to the right/next button for stored videos because otherwise you'll have 100 videos to go back to the main screen and have to memorize the time stamp on the one before it to know which one is next. I need to be able to scroll across video to video like in an actual gallery, next, watch next video, hit next, watch next video. I need to be able to tag incidents.

worst app for a dash cam. I just wanna say even today the problems that other users are having are still relevant today. Buggy, constantly disconnects, slow. I must then reconnect just to look at videos. It becomes an instant cycle that makes me wonder why I went with them. When I do finally get the videos to play, they are choppy and with broken audio. The only way to see them clearly is to download to your device. Oh but first you have to download to internal memory. Are they trolling us?

The video clips are too short and when it stops playing you have to start from the beginning to search for the video again. It should stay on the screen until you decide to change from what you're looking at. It makes the choice for you so you have to go back and search the video all over again. ARRGH! It's a real pain! Should definitely make additional cameras optional!!! But, it's pretty cool to know that if something major happens, you have proof and ability to surveillance your neighborhood.

This feels like it was only programed with a tablet in mind. I struggled for 2 hours to get the settings to even show up, and when it did it instantly crahsed. Only to figure out the app was having a fit for having my mobile data band turned on my phone. If you are making a mobile app why have an app that can fail this basic aspect of not killing itself when any smartphone option is on. Will not be a repeat customer if this remains how it is.

This app (and to a degree the camera itself) is useless. It fails to connect to the dash cam (f200) EVERY time. I've followed all instructions to the letter (including turning off all 'smart' wifi setting (such as switching to mobile data when the wifi connection is unstable)). If the camera you've bought uses this app, you're better off returning it because you can't rely on it to provide your recording in your time of need.

Absolutely the worst app I have ever tried to work with! Not only is it nonsensical when you are trying to link it to the camera --it will not stay connected. There is an auto connect setting for the Thinkware Wi-Fi but it never connects back up when you get in the vehicle again and you have to go through the whole process of connecting it manually again only to have it crash out in a few minutes. Completely worthless.

This app gets worse and worse. I never think it always does. You have to wait FOREVER for it to connect. It used to connect almost immediately then wait for it to load the video. Now it won't even get connect and the app looks worse too. I can express the amount of user frustration and hatred I have for this app. if I could, I would use something else. Any time I call they make me feel like I'm wasting their time. so don't do it. get something else. im stuck in hell, but you don't have to be.

*update* They reached out and walked me through getting it to work again. Did a camera reset, did a "forget network" on the wifi, and made sure all of my permissions were set to allowed. *Old* It was pretty decent until the update, can't even get a connection anymore. I'm able to connect to the wifi, but once I go back to the homepage on the app, I click "connect to camera" and a loading circle appears for a second and then goes away. That's all it allows me to do.

Why is the app crashing suddenly? When i try to find a video the phone freezes every time. Pops up messages about closing apps that don't have anything to do with this app too. I re-installed and even tried my old model Thinkware cam and IT does the same! I haven't seen a new app update to fix the issue. I've had both cams for a while, but this seems to be an app issue. Anyone else having trouble?

Use to be great till something broke in the app making it crash. WORKAROUND TO DOWNLOAD VIDEOS: The best way to download the video is to press and hold on video you think it might be (I do the one above and below it so I don't have to try and reconnect and attempt again) I know it's not ideal but after downloading it you "should" be able to view the video with in the app without crashing, I usually just export and view on native video viewer to avoid the app crashing or forcing my phone restart

Having issues connecting to my F200 Pro as soon as I connected to my F70 Pro. Program launches and immediately tries to connect to the F70 and even after cancelling will not stop trying. Camera leaves BT mode while this app is still thinking. I thought I've had more than one camera connected before but it doesn't allow it now. Without an onboard screen I can't even change settings on the 200 now

Absolutely Poor Performance! Using the app with S25 Ultra & there's no issue when connecting to U3000 via Bluetooth, that all changes when I try to use live view when it has to switch to WiFi. Fails to connect to its own WiFi- Thinkware_D7, fails to connect to Audi WiFi in the car & most shockingly, I paid £169 for RUT200 WiFi router in the boot & yes you've guessed it, fails to connect to that too! Close the app & the dashcam proudly announces 'connected to Internet! It is Barry White!!

We purchased Thinkware U3000 almost two months ago. I had all the bells and whistles installed such as the LTE for wireless video playback and monitoring. Nope, do you want to see your videos from home, not happening. Then the camera was draining my battery if I didn't drive my car every single day. We got the big boy external battery 7500 which we swapped and installed after getting the smaller one 4500 and not lasting one night. Even the 7500 will last just overnight. Don't waste your money!

every time there's an update, it's near damn impossible to turn the dash cam on, I've checked all wiring, fuses. have to practically delete the app, download app, re-sync dash cams each time!!! vehicle was bought brand new and dashcam installed, fitted, has been a headache after every update.

just purchased. got everything set up, followed the instructions to a T. Spent TWO hours!!! trying to get it set up using this app. I reset everything - the app, the camera, my bluetooth, my wifi, my car, heck I even went and reset the power at my utilities' power plant. No dice. In all seriousness, it should not be this hard. especially after you spend time running the wires and getting the physical components all set up. Also, the settings are confusing with no description.

Omg I can't believe my first purchase of a dashcam and it's total garbage. it worked totally fine first day I installed it so I'm here thinking everything good, well just now there was an accident right behind me and I'm like I'll help out the person since they didn't have one. Just to my surprise I can't access the app so I deleted it reinstall it then tried reconnecting the Bluetooth NOTHING my phone doesn't even see the connection anymore. so in other words don't buy thinkware totally trash.

Useless app. The camera is great and takes very good video, but the app freezes and crashes any time I try to download video. The only way to get your video is to pull the SD card and plug it into a computer, which in my mind means it fails at its primary purpose. Please fix this, these cameras are not cheap.

stability is not good at all. videos freeze up in the middle or at the end, downloading the videos will run the risk of crashing the app. will not miss thus, will get a different brand for my next car
