Threads

I've enjoyed using Threads, but for the last week it won't load properly. it will load about 10 posts and then nothing after that. I refresh, and it will load 5 posts and an ad. If I refresh again, it freezes and nothing more will load. I've uninstalled/reinstalled, and I'm running the latest version. I really hope the developers will fix whatever is the problem, because I miss using the app!

Overall good, but has some issues it needs to work out. For instance, if you click on a post to read it, sometimes when you back out it will refresh automatically and you'll lose the post forever. I constantly have issues where the page refreshes automatically while I'm mid-reading and the whole thing is gone. It's very irritating. I still consider this to be a good app for social networking, and better than Twitter. It just has some issues to fix.

While it had a lot of initial interest, I'm weary of how bad the ads are going to be if Facebook is any indication. It lacks a lot of personalization options like colors, font sizes, banner images, or other settings available in competitors like Xwitter, but is at least stable and easy to navigate. Definitely a more complete experience using the app than trying to use the web verson.

Could be great if all pages loaded when you clicked on them. Sometimes they just don't. Posts usually don't load at all. And my biggest thing: if you follow someone on Threads, you automatically follow them on Instagram as well. Either they're two separate apps or they're not. I would really like to be able to have a different list of people I follow on each app.

An unsung treasure, this app is great as an artist to let loose and build community in a way that's as engaging as old Tumblr and Twitter. It's definitely more for text posts, but it's really fun to ask questions and get feedback and see other people's art. It's a perfect companion to Insta, and the algorithm really is tailored to the way I use the app.

made an account for my travel agent stuff, and a couple of days later, they banned me for impersonation even though I sent a verification selfie. There is no actual help center for you to talk to someone or an email, just a bunch of links to different policy stuff that takes you in a loop. And if you don't immediately save your information when you log back in and realize that you've been banned (because they don't send an email telling you this happened) they will delete everything. DON'T USE!

Threads is still my favorite and most visited social media app but it feels like it is rapidly moving towards other meta products, which is going to kill the app. People are leaving them and there are more bots on Facebook than people by far. Don't recreate the problems. Currently, most of the comments on my posts are not viewable and I was hoping there was an update but now I'm wondering if it's a shadow ban. Not to mention I'm still grieving the loss of voice notes, which was super depressing.

Insta & Threads do not show posts dates nor allow to sort by date&time. which gives the BOARD a total mess of un-needed feeds-posts-comments 💥🆘⚠️ and yes you can repost to other areas subject ( COOL) but you can't select just to view such sn #subject CORRECT THIS.

Edit 02/26: broken again. Now fixed again. Edit 08/25: they fixed it. 08/23: You broke the app recently with one of the updates. Try to click on a Thread shown in Instagram, and the app in Google Play store appears, asking me to open the app. Then it does NOT open to the correct Thread I just clicked, but a completely different one. It previously opened to the correct Thread I clicked immediately. No need to re-open the app from the Google Play store.

A good alternative to many other social media. I don't need to go on to mention it, it's pretty normal, but my biggest problem is that there's no way to report an account for inappropriately interacting with Minors. we have report options for EATING DISORDERS of all things but not for someone being a creep like that. pretty bizarre, especially in this specific day and age. (yes I've seen one recently and I couldn't find a way to report it accurately other than selecting "I just don't like them"

My notifications not deleting on the threads app. Plus everytime I am getting notifications badge number on the threads app, in fact I've seen everything but it's still showing some numbers through the badge. Other apps don't show any badge for this after watching/ checking them but on this I see everytime badge for this.

It's a great app, but I've been having trouble trying to log into one of my other accounts. It keeps saying that my username is incorrect, even though I know it isn't. This is the only problem I've ever had with Threads Tried it on my tablet. Keeps saying that my username isn't connected to an account, even though it is. When I go to sign up, it says that the username is already taken. I KNOW IT IS. IT'S MY USERNAME. WHAT IS GOING ON?!

I have something on my mind and it's about God and religion. I wrote about it and wish to share it with the world. But I can't post it because it contains 1123 words—a small composition, and neither Threads nor Instagram lets you share something that 'small' as they both has super simplified word limitations. Maybe these services are for people who'd prefer sharing a simple captioned selfie. "Cheers 🍻, hey look at this 🐥"

I think that Threads is great, lots of information and communication, making new friendships. If I was the Head of management, I would insist on proper registration with the real names and surnames, so that communication is directed at the right person, and not to the one hundred following, as they all think the message is for them alone. Photos must include clear facial features on their profile for identification purposes, for better security, alleviating scams. Thank you.

I love threads! I don't love this new, "feature". When in the comments/subthread, if you click on a comment, when you back out of said comment it pops you to the original post/Thread and not to the comment you've just backed out of. This is frustrating. I don't want to scroll back down to where I left off. This wasn't always a thing so something has changed and it needs to change back!

Something is terribly wrong with this app. It keeps giving me error messages whenever I click on something to view. One time it told me they saw some unusual activity and they blocked me from looking at stuff or opening the app. Then they said someone tried to sign in from Oregon or something and asked if it was me. Then it'll work fine, and then it'll start with the error messages again saying, "something went wrong". I have uninstalled and reinstalled, so let's see what happens now.

I love Threads but lately it has been glitching and crashing a lot. I thought this might be happening because I need to update the app (which sometimes happens with Instagram) but no. :( Update: I uninstalled and reinstalled and it worked for a day...until now. Same issue. It crashes and reports a bug. Hoping there'a an update soon...really frustrating. 🥺

worst update by far. all my past deleted activity keeps coming back and won't delete off my notifications. Seriously need to fix this glitch. I delete them and then they all just come right back like I never deleted it. also, need to put an option in to delete all post activity at one time instead of just deleting one at a time.

Downloaded the app, logged into my Instagram account and was forcefully logged out instantly. I can now no longer log in with my Instagram account as it keeps telling me I have the wrong password when I don't. I've changed my password to hope that would fix it and it hasn't. Yet I get notifications telling me I have new followers. Doesn't make any sense. How can I get notifications while not being logged in? Useless app that doesn't work. I definitely wouldn't download it.

Edit: The Instagram icon on the top right side of the page of all the accounts to connect with them on Insta has now been added, however no following list is shown separately, we have to click on the "followers" tab to know about the accounts we are "following". What a joke.? Also the Threads app hasn't been designed for tablets including iPad OS for the iPad. This app is actually very useful for reading articles in the links embedded in posts unlike Instagram where link was always in the bio.
