Worst ever, I had to change my PW three times. It still didn't work . Couldn't ever shop from the app, still can't the page won't load. Even when I try to shop from the website, it won't connect to my card, it says error in verification. The app is horrible. But I can make purchases in the store with no problem. I wish I could give a -star. The app doesn't deserve even one star. How you have a app, but can't shop on it. I've downloaded/up graded it 4 times with the same results
Downloaded the app to pay the bills on their credit card. Paid the first bill 5 days before the due date, and it showed that it went through, and I had 0 balance, now the bank called and told that the payment wasn't accepted. And guess what... they charged me 27 dollars in late fee. Just because the app (or the bank they're working with) is so slow and didn't show the rejection of payment until past due date.
Can no longer log into app, but same logon works fine for website. App frequently will not have a back button when you are looking at an item, making you start all over. Update - finally was able to log in and got back button back - but now it's gone again!!! Wth??? My fav online place to shop and I'm at the point where it's just not worth it because each time I want to look at an item, I can't go back to where I was & have to start completely over. Developer show ppl on app longer but no buys.
Takes multiple tries to get the app to fully open & allow logjn, then takes several minutes to load, if it even loads at all. Doesn't matter if I'm on wifi or mobile data, either. Hangs so bad it's impossible to shop online or access & use rewards at checkout, making them worthless. Need to plan ahead before I go shopping, print out rewards and bring with me. Ridiculous. Would give it zero stars if possible.
I keep getting emails telling me to use the app, so I tried again. Exact same issues I had a year ago that others are also describing. Read the comments and fix this! --------------- Complete failure. Half the time I open the app, it freezes. When I do manage to get in, there's nothing in there. I go to set up my account and it never sends to verifying email. It's a good idea with HORRIBLE execution.
The app will not let me sign in. I can't use my rewards. It is very frustrating! All of my log in info is correct. I've just changed the password AGAIN and it took HOURS for the reset password email to arrive in my inbox. I've uninstalled & reinstalled the app several times. Nothing has worked. When I go to log in it either spins for a very long time then completely closes out or it just closes out automatically. All of those is very frustrating being a TJ Maxx cardholder.
I won't purchase online here again, be sure to take screenshots if items are a set. Had them send just one piece of the set then change the item picture. It was obvious they had separated it post purchase, the picture of the one I purchased was relabeled as the "top" but I received the bottoms only, it was not listed like that when I purchased it and didn't have a picture of just the bottoms, and I would've had to pay $11 to send it back for shipping.
The app will not let me sign in at all. I go to log in so I can use my rewards in store but every time I attempt to log in, it automatically closes out the whole app when I click "sign in". I uninstalled then reinstalled the app to see if the download was just bad or it needed an update.. but nope still is happening. I know my log in information is correct because I am able to sign in online just fine. I'm disappointed.
Keeps closing so I can not pay my bill. Inconvenient, the only reason I downloaded it was to pay my bill. I'm going to delete the app, pay the card off, and close the account. I dont need the hastle for a couple of dollars off of a purchase. Not worth it. If I can use the card and have a working online option to manage and pay the bill, fine... but that's clearly not the case. Seems like I'll end up with late payments and uneccesay incurred fees. No thank you. App isn't worth the storage space.
I just spent 30 minutes on the phone with the tjmaxx help line because my rewards aren't showing up on the app, only to be told they could confirm I had rewards but didn't know how to resolve it. That was after talking to 3 different people. And I had already signed out & signed back in, deleted the app & reinstalled it. The app is convenient for using rewards - no printing out or remembering to take them to the store, but when a company can't fix their own app, it's so frustrating!
The idea is fantastic. The functionality, ABSOLUTELY HORRIFIC. I have an android and NOTHING works. It constantly crashes and tells me I systems are down when I try to log in. If I do miracuasly get in then it either tells me I have no rewards (when I know I do) or crash when I click on it. I have friends that have apple and it seems to work bug free. However work needs to be put in to make it work properly for androids. So frustrating. 40mins monkeying around and still cant get my rewards.
Not very user friendly. The app is very slow to open, often taking several minutes to open. This is really frustrating when inside their stores and wanting to access rewards since they can't do it from their register checkout system. The app frequently freezes the phone while trying to open, requiring the phone be restarted to clear the app and regain use of phone. It's very frustrating.
SO frustrated! First, since I first got the card I spent about $2,000 with it, all paid off right away, but never got the rewards. They weren't able to help me in the store either. Now, I'm trying to open the app and it just keeps crashing repeatedly before I can sign in. Really bummed out. Will probably just cancel my card; at this point it's just an extra payment step for no reason without the rewards.
Very unreliable!!! The app has given me trouble since I downloaded it and signed up for the card. It glitches all the time and does not let you pull up your card info to pay in the store like it's supposed to. It also gives you a hard time paying your bill. Last time I had to call them to be able to pay my bill cause I couldn't do it in the app.
I used to love this app - I did a lot of shopping thru it. Now it's not worth it - so very frustrating, and here I see a lot of your customers having the same problem. You go to look at something or do anything where you need to use a back button and you lose it all - clears all the filters, loses your place, or shuts the app. Please fix it!!!

The app is great for paying my bill when it works. I frequently need to open the app multiple times to be able to access the payments section. It's rather frustrating. I work for a bank and know when an online banking app malfunctions like this to uninstall & reinstall in case there is an app update. This did not help and then I had to look up my password to log back in.
Constant Error messages!!!! Previously I used the app regularly with no problem, it was great; now everything is a problem! I log in ok, I try to use rewards that I actually have in paper form but they don't show in the app. I try to use my fingerprint like I usually do. I get a message "The information you entered does not match our records". I try to do anything else i get "Sorry we are unable to complete your request at this time". Frustrating.
The actual credit card company is nice, but whoever created or maintains the app is absolutely terrible. My payment never goes through, and then it charges me a late fee, and the app doesn't even alert you that your payment didn't go through. It's been like this for at least a year now. Whoever the developers are need to fix this problem, because it feels like a scam, or, at the very minimum, like the developers aren't good at their job and don't know what they're doing.
