I am impressed with the shows featured,and they are interesting to watch. However, I can't watch at least half of the shows featured because, like all other apps that feature channels on television, I am ordered to sign in my correct cable channel, which I don't have because of the cost. If they offered a subscription that would work for people like me who watch a lot of shows but don't have cable television. So I might uninstall the app, we'll see..
(Sidenote:This review is from a user who has full content unlocked because of Spectrum cable.) Wonderful app. Provides access to EVERYTHING you can think of from the actual network. It's great being able to watch what you want when you want instead of waiting for the next episode to air. They integrate brand new episodes right away too. The ONLY complaint I have is that you are forced to watch the same amount of ads as you would watching on TV. You should be able to skip at least SOME of them.
Generally, I love the app. Great programming and availability! ❤️❤️ What I don't love is the "internet connection" error that happens either mid ad break or 5 seconds in after an ad break. When I reopen the app, I start the show and it's another ad break. I don't mind the ads at all, but I don't want to spend 3 hours watching a show because of the glitches and seemingly endless parade of essentially back-to-back 3 minute ad runs. If this gets fixed, it's a 5 star app!! 🤩
C'mon yall have seen that this app keeps crashing so quit responding with "that doesn't seem right" Ive been using this app for months. I uninstall and reinstall, weekly. It crashes every single time I try to watch a show. In ad breaks. During the show. You name it. And what really makes me mad is when I JUST sat through a ridiculous 3 minute ad break, only to play 3 seconds of the show, then crash. When I reopen, 3 more minutes of an ad break. Unreal. Fix the bugs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Zero stars.
Horrible and annoying! I understand the need for ads but when you play the commercial ever break back to back to back, it makes you crazy! That Nissan Kick comm is the worst! I heard it so many times one night while watching The Little Couple that I actually had nightmares of it. It's too much! Please fix this! I love the shows and like I said I dont mind commercials but this is insane! Fix this and the app would be 5 stars! Just as I typed this review I heard that redicuolus Kick comm 3 xs!!!
This app is the worst app in the entire history of apps. It doesn't work. Period. It crashes every few seconds, doesn't load majority of the time. Freezes when it does decide to work. It doesn't matter if I use it on my phone or my xbox... it just doesn't work! Seriously, did yall lay off your IT department or what? If not you should definitely rethink some things!
Bad, bad, bad. Bad UI, no real controls over the episodes, shows seem to be stitched together, as we experienced scenes jumping around. It crashes a ton, we have no history of where we left off, it disconnects after watching for a while and you have to reopen the app and try to remember where you were, on and on, etc. Save the headache and watch something else!
have to re-start app every time I return to app after viewing other apps. "continue watching " does not always have the last episode I was watching. when going to "shows" list, the one I want is not always there. have to keep scrolling up snd down until it appears. especially when looking for a show to go back to an episode I was watching because it wasnt on the continue watching list.
It works, finding shows is not easy. Not being able to have do a pic on pic. Or keep running on a small pic, would be better. The stop and buffer for 1-2 minutes is not fun. And going from wifi to data. Stopped the show completely. A sad cloud, as it tells you to retry. Going to beginning and having to start all over. Not cool. Other that. Not so bad. Can watch a lot of the shows I like.
The worst streaming experience I've ever had. My Xbox Series X directly connected to the modem will buffer continuously. Sometimes you can restart the episode about a dozen times and it will stop. Other times, it plays for a few minutes and crashes the app. No other streaming service I've ever used has done this. My connection is 500mb download, and only a couple devices on it. Really no reason for it.
Horrible update. Before this nasty update I was able to cast shows to my TV no problem. Now they've added 2 minute ads every 15 minutes to the streaming feature. The streaming is also terrible, as the audio and video get off from each other every 30 seconds. Sick of having to stop and start every 30 seconds trying to get through an hour and a half long show. Turns it into 2 and a half hours. WITH ADS? Definitely not worth it at that point.
This app is really a mess. It freezes up and restarts frequently and crashes even more frequently. It's also extremely user-unfriendly -- my "favorite shows" list often locks up or fails to load, and there doesn't seem to be any way to navigate from one episode to the next without backing out of the video player. The "continue watching" links are entirely unhelpful because the progress bar never seems to correctly sync with what I've actually watched.
Does not work properly; crashes every other second, does not cast to television properly without inexplicably stopping every 5 minutes. Each time the app crashes and you have to re-open it, it goes automatically to 3 minute ads, even if you just watched them before it crashed so you end up watching 6 minutes of ads in a row only for it to break in another 5 minutes. Also it rarely returns to where you were so when you try to resume where you left off, it's another 3 minutes of ads.
This is the only app that I've kept on my phone because it's that good, but the commercials!!!! OMG! They are redundant and come so often. If you skip, even if it's right after a series of commercials, there are more! and if you skip just before commercials, they still play more commercials. I just sat through 5 minutes of commercials. It's like, half the time, I'm watching effing commercials! come on. I signed in to a provider and still have to sit through commercials???
I've been having constant issues with tlc go getting stuck on commercials where I'm having to refresh numerous times to get the commercials to play all the way thru. I've been using the service for months with no issue, then last week this started. I often have to watch twice as many commercials as normal because of it, and it also caused this week's episode of "The Other Way" to keep restarting itself so I wasn't able to watch the whole episode. Please fix ASAP! So frustrating!!
I've had a smart phone for over a decade and have never left a review for an app, that ends tonight. This is the most frustrating piece of garbage I've ever had the misfortune of using. Don't ever stop watching a show because you won't be able to skip back to where you left off! Follow that simple rule and you might think you're safe, but wait... There's more! The app itself will close out on you and disconnect from your TV thus putting you in the very predicament you were trying to avoid.
Terrible app. Crashes constantly, have to uninstall periodically in order to be able to login, the app doesn't register that I've already watched something, so finding where I am is way more difficult than it needs to be, my cast icon randomly vanishes occasionally, (not an app issue per se, but the number and frequency of ads is insane), yikes. Looks like everyone has had similar issues for a while now, maybe they're saving the fixes for discovery+ service, lol.
I too luv the shows been watching for years but the app is horrible!! They are always changing when and how long we have to wait to watch show. The whole point of having an app and paying for TV service that allows you access is to not have to wait days!! Then when it's constantly got a problem of switching from data to wifi and you have too go back and start watching again very frustrating!!
Horrible! Even when I end an episode on a certain point (to watch later) it starts me back at the beginning. I have to log in every time I enter the app (even when selecting remember me) and it will always tell me my log in is wrong when just used.When I try to rewind and guess which spot I was on,it plays a commercial every single time. It's nearly impossible. Now when I watch I have to block out and make sure I can finish the complete episode because I know rewinding will be a pain/impossible.
It doesn't make sense to ask to link a TV provider when the app doesn't let you to unlock episodes. When I log into my TV provider, after it shows its a bad request and supposedly, the browser doesn't work with the server. I tried it with 3 different browsers & cleared my cache , and it still didn't work.Its the app, not the browser. It used to work . And that's that I didn't update the app either. It's been like that for a long time. Please fix this. App is useless.
