Toddle Family

worst app ever used. you should name yourself as Torture Family app. such a Pathetic user experience. Am being gracious to give you 1 ⭐, you deserve a negative score. seems 4.2 rating aren't organic or given by your employees, funders & shareholders. it's so complex, nothing organised, too many click journey, doesn't have First time right feature. something as basic as download or share PDF feature is also not there.

poor performance. the app seems to be very slow and very frequently freezes requiring me to shut off the app and restart. I agree with others that the vision is outstanding. Unfortunately, due to the poor performance, it's very difficult to use.

off late, This app has been super sluggish and very difficult to navigate. features otherwise enabled have been hidden under layers of clicks. its a shame that this is mandatory at my ward's school, otherwise its an instant uninstall.

The app doesn't give the parents the option to delete or edit a message. Thus is very disturbing. The app also sometimes doesn't show the recent messages.

Not user friendly. You can't send messages anymore by simply clicking a message in your inbox and reply / send. you have to create a NEW message everytime, leading to 3-4 extra steps. the platform is horrible, Google classroom is much simpler and easier. They could learn from them by simply imitating their software. everything in Toddle is 4-5 extra steps. such a pain.

Many bugs 1. If you're traveling a timezone popup happens every time you move to a new screen, doesn't save the setting. 2. When you have a few notifications, which is common with multiple kids, and click through the notification, it doesn't take you to that message, it just goes to most recent message 3. So so slow opening and between page load. Makes me dred opening it up 4. Frequently hard to find massages as it could be an announcement, a teacher message, or a DM (should be 1 view)

There is no editing to the messages on the mobile app which needs to be considered

Great application with user-friendly interface and seemless experience. All the useful information about the child's progress in the school can be easily accessed. Also loaded with other features like child's progress report, parent-teacher communication, and much more.

1: Takes ages to load 2: If wifi is spotty, the message you are writing gets lost as the app keeps reloading. Major frustration. 3: In a family app, logically speaking, messages from one family member should be visible to other family members. Otherwise what's the point of this being a family app? 4: Announcements and notifications are not segregated per child, if there's more than one kid in a family. Just messages are separate. Creates a cluttered experience.

If a PDF is added as an attachment by the teachers, it freezes just after opening. The menus are insane. Three are so many sections and it's not clear what differences they have

Doesn't work even after the update, not getting notifications about new messages, have to kill the app and open again in order to be able to open the new message 👎

What an absolute horrible interface. The only app I have that will tell you that you're offline when everything else is connected. Back button takes you out of the app. Can't search items. I wish my kids school never adopted this.

the app is very good in terms of organizing, but it lags a lot. the responsiveness is too slow most of the time.

I really wish that our school wasn't using Toddle. It is a nightmare trying to plan the work ahead! You have to look under too many places to actually know what is due. The calendar for the kids shows when things were assigned vs when things are due, what kind of student planner is that?

the comment section is buggy. you cannot see the last comment. when i click to see the comments, it automatically opens the text box to write a comment which hides the last comment on the post.there is no way to see all the comments, including the last one.

Generally easy to setup and use, clean design without clutter, responsive/snappy UI. Lacks some of modern UX/UI patterns (e.g. swiping between days on timetable/calendar, display changes/latest when opening app, user selectable elements like calendar days with events do nothing when selected). Updates are only installed when using the app and not via typical Play store update mechanism. Not having latest version prevents latest posts from triggering notifications.

Does not work on Pixel 7 Pro running android 14 . App instantly closes as soon as you open it. Update: issue was resolved with a previous app update.

Crashed after updated. And lately i hardly receive any notification of messages. Please fix it. Cause it is not ooening now.

So much better than Managebac. School had Managebac which was confusing for me as parent. Toddle seems much cleaner. Like the messaging feature where I can ask any clarification as parent to teacher directly.
