TopCashback: Cashback & Offers

Don't bother. I have cashbacks going back five months that still haven't been paid. £0 balances for several online supermarket shops when I actually spent at least £50 each time. Several cashbacks also declined. Since I've been using it, I've made less than £5! As soon as I can cash out, I'm uninstalling. Total waste of time and effort!

Good to get that little bit back, but I find you have to keep track as it's very hit n miss. Never bank on getting that cashback. Very slow at times to track and for companies to pay out. Seems the big value items fail, mostly. Funny that! Not easy to get account details. Not the only company to hide these details or make them impossible to get.

Changed to 3 star from 2. Cashback is advertised then if you apply it with another discount like black Friday they are declined. Nonsense. I wouldn't have bought a couple of items if the cashback wasn't available! Seems that small purchases pay but bigger ones get declined. Utterly pointless. UPDATE to your comment, if the retailer has automatically applied a reduction and it can't be removed (and why would you for a smaller discount via topcashback) then topcashback doesn't work, does it?

The app does work. I would recommend getting it as an add on on your computer. when I do this, it always tracks once the payment has been confirmed from their side. Ive made over £200 so far and it helps when you spend online alot, especially as a business. The app is quite cool and thanks.

10/10! used over a few years (since buying my house) and have accrued over £400 just by going through the app/site. The money I made then was used as spending money on holidays and I've recently transferred money into gift cards which I can then get more cash back on! It's a no brainer for me and my family to use this. Recommended to everyone!

more or less every purchase I make through this app never registers. and I always have to make a claim. then you have to wait months for the outcome, just to be told sorry you ain't getting no cashback. when I 1st joined a few years ago it was really good. Not so much now

Great when it tracks! Top cashback as a whole is great when everything works, I've been using it for years. I find the app really struggles to track, so I would recommend using the plug in for the browser on your computer. However, it does still go wrong and you'll need to put aside time create tickets for customer services and for that to take an age to get resolved. The most frustrating experience is when that gets declined for no fault of the user, including their own comparison site!

2.5⭐️First year was OK! Takes ages to earn now. Earned less in last two years combined. Paid membership, but I can't say I noticed much difference. It could just be personal experience, though. Good range of merchants participating, so earning potential is there. Some purchases do not track and with no good enough reason, so can be frustrating. Most of the cashback % are low and some purchases don't even track through apps but then some Web pages don't even load which makes it seem like a con 🤨

Do not bother is my simple advance. There's them promo offers they lure you in "friend referral" and limited offers and even though you meticulously followed all the steps - transactions go missing! Your cashback gets retracted for no reason and if you do with to withdraw your few savings (that takes yiu 6 months or more to be approved) you still need to pay £5 membership fee! As a cashback app it is not worth it. Lost too many transaction and many deals credit was missed due to their own track

Takes several months to get cashback if at all. Seems like a never ending battle between you and companies who will exploit every loophole to NOT grant you cashback, and TopCashback make no effort to help as they've already been paid. Update 2022: still no better. Sometimes waiting 7 or 8 months for cashback to come through. Contacting support does no good as they just tell you to wait and hope. update 2025 3 years later. Same old Top cashback. Half your orders won't track. Avoid

Excellent app, even though I mainly use the desktop version when purchasing. I can easily find information, look for deals and purchase gift cards. Customer service is fantastic as well.

utterly dreadful and a total waste of time. I've been waiting since August for pennies! it's ludicrous. half the time my purchases are later declined, I have chased up 4 of these and only one was rectified but tbh what's the point??? arguing over 80p that I'll wait 6 months on anyway. not worth the hassle. I'm 43 now and I ain't waiting until I'm 90 to cash out. plus it's snide, when you activate cashback and place your order it then makes out you didn't activate at all so you get nowt!! joke

It's a good thing to use for any online purchase, but reasons for not actually receiving the cash back are way too many. Every year I use it to get my car and van insurance and I dont think I've ever actually seen any cash back from these larger purchases. I take the time to read the t&cs but for years its always the same and I got bored of raising a claim. So, it is a bit of a con there, especially when you pay for the membership. All the 1% seem to show up quickly though. Every little helps

Weird that smaller amounts are authorised. £80 due to me for a company I only found through this app (and would never have used as never heard of them) refused to pay out. Small amounts ✔️ but DO NOT USE FOR LARGE PURCHASES… will be uninstalling as soon as outstanding items paid (if they are not declined I have reached out numerous times with prove, it went to pending once again AND THEN surprise surprise declined again!

I thought this was good at first, but lately I've found it doesn't register the cashback. It's very frustrating and it's too much effort to use. I find I'm having better experience with Quidco so will continue to use them.

Marks and Spencer, John Lewis are the latest not to show up for any cash back at all. Aware of this from 12.2025 -02.2026. Edit: for everyones info, the M&S cashbacks were huge. some ranging from 10% to 20%. Normally these get recognised but having to go through and flag any where cashback is more than pennies is taking the Mick.

I have bought from three retailers via the app and after a few days nothing has registered in the app so I don't think it's really worth using it. I'll wait a bit longer to see if my purchases show up and if there is a small amount being paid back. Perhaps it takes longer than a few days to appear.

Never pays out on anything over £50 so be careful. I've been waiting weeks and weeks for a £175 payment and nothing. it's well over the advertised length of time, even giving it extra to month end

Think I'm gonna delete this app. It's been sitting on my phone for nearly a month and I just can't find any way to use it. All the offers are so generic and I can pretty much get the same with less hassle from other sources or even direct.

Great when it works, but continually gives problems with loading homepage, etc. Have to uninstall & reinstall regularly. UPDATE - Problems now appear to have been fixed and the app is working well.
