So it seems like a decent game with really great graphics and unlike its other similar game 7DS this one you can choose to be in English!! All you do is climb a tower but I didn't get passed the first level because the fighting is automatic you don't even do anything!! which I absolutely hate in a game!! I want a game that I can actually play like they're supposed to be made for!! not just watch it play itself!! So it's your time of thing then you will love it!!
Honestly, the idea of the game is amazing. But when you hit a certain point you just log on and spam the campaign stage until rng. The game feels SUPER boring once you progress far in campaign. Nothing to do, nothing to play, nothing to see. It's sad. It's so close. It needs so much more content though to play the game progressively. Best of luck to you ToG
Strong starting experience, a ton to do when you first begin playing, it keeps you occupied for a few hours. Then suddenly, if you're f2p, you'll find yourself getting hard stuck to the point where afking for a whole day, you won't see any real progress. There will be a point where there is nothing to do for days on end. That point for me was at the fifth floor and 50th trial. Also, it suddenly becomes laggy and unresponsive, forcing you to restart your phone.
Solid game. No ads which is a breath of fresh air and the game play is simple but can be engaging If you want to learn about the different character types instead of auto selecting. Biggest issue would probably be the progression speed. It's a little slow for me but good when you have time to kill. The in app purchases aren't horrible. I have yet to spend any money and I have more gems then I know what to do with just from casual progression.
Firstly I'd like to preface that I love the original IP ToG, so I am going to be a bit biased. Firstly I want to say the this game is ftp friendly for the most part as well as it being fun to play. But there are issues in numerous areas of the game, the biggest being a horrible pity. There should be more pity instead of only at x100 and x200. There is also no way to reliably get dupes of ssr+, as well as no reliable way to upgrade exclusive equipment. Game is still new so expect a lot to change
It's like every gacha game. I would argue that it is way more predatory for microtransactions once you hit a block. You can't repeat levels to keep progressing or getting exp, so you're at the mercy of waiting. If your loading screen has to say, "If you can't beat a level today, try again tomorrow!" then you know your game is predatory. You get character power from getting limit breaks by acquiring the same character multiple times. This is already a clear predatory system.
Definitely the best gatcha I've played in a while, the pull odds are very realistic and great. You can almost guarantee you'll get the latest and greatest hero every time one releases without spending money. Graphics and gameplay are also great too! But the absolute best thing about this game is the consistent events that come out and the amount of items they give you for free just for playing (character skins included!).
The game was great until the most recent patch. Then, the developers decided to put in ads that you can get rid of for $6.99 a month. If that wasn't bad enough they decided to make the ad removal also give you more health and damage, along with an extra 5 levels to your shinsu orb (which makes your team 5 levels higher) which is even more power, hp, and defense. That is just a scummy thing to do.
Love the game, been faring well as an f2p but it's getting laggy. Never had this issue with the game before, just for a week now, it's like I get timed before I forcefully get kicked from the game even in the middle of battles. I have no apps recent apps running when I play this game too, so I don't know about that. My internet is also secure, so that can't be the problem. I really love this game and I hope this issue gets fixed in the update since it's getting bothersome.
Unfortunately I had to delete the game. Last update they decided to implement ads. You can't even permenatley get rid of it. Along with too many characters to even keep up with. I was easily top 200 but never could make real progress. I played for a year without missing a day and still couldn't progress. Equipment doesn't do much and the collabs are a cash grab. In the end it was a game that looked for ways to get money in any way they could.
I kove having animations and voices to the story. That's very well done (though some voices aren't what I expected). But the gameplay is meh, in that there really isn't any. It's a standard auto battler. While they've made some great improvements, like upgrading slots instead of characters, duplicates are still a ton of the power in the game, so you'll rely mostly on who you draw a bunch of. This is made worse because of having to play around elements. Rates are at least decent though.
As far as Gatcha style games go, It's pretty good. The mechanics allow new characters to be relevant directly out of the box. It uses idle loot mechanics instead of grinding. There isn't a stamina gauge like in other games tonlimit your play. As long as there's something to do, you can do ot. Early on at least, paid currencies are easy enough to earn in game. The Summon system is pretty forgiving as well. That said, the gameplay is a bit repetitive and there's only so much you can do.
This was a game I actually liked playing daily and paid money on. Past couple updates has caused continuous game freezing or completely kicking me out of the game. One of my favorite reason to playing the game and paying was there was no ads in the first place. Now I have to pay to get rid of those. Not worth playing anymore. Extremely disappointed
I wish the game had more replayable levels to kill time and gain small rewards because when you hit a wall and can't progress there is literally nothing to do if you're stuck. You are forced to go afk and wait for the idle rewards to accumulate. I wish the story was separate, not locked to adventure progress. A mode that is repeatable without waiting for a refresh. I wish the opening video when you first start the game is replayable or rewatchable in the game somewhere. I enjoyed it a lot.
Glitchy. I want to like the game SO BAD. But my initial issues have only gotten worse with time. I'm lucky to get 5 minutes in before the screen gets stuck on an animation indefinitely, or I get a 'security alert' code and the game FORCE CLOSES. Ive sunk many hours into the game months before, but got tired of it. When I heard they were releasing my favorite character I gave it a chance again, but it's so much worse now. I restarted 6 times before I gave up. I've tried 3 days now. I'm done.
The new auto progress feature is SUCH a good quality of life feature to have. Ads are optional and only 10 seconds. The game overall is amazing! I don't feel pressured to spend a lot of time completing daily tasks. Game is very generous with the gacha; I've been able to get all of the characters. I love that I can put my favorite characters on a team and still get through the story content fine. I love that lower rank characters are useful as well instead of just sitting. Gameplay is relaxing.
Nice graphics and sound, but boy, is it so convoluted. Menus upon menus within menus. Currency up the Uranus to the point of not knowing what the heck I'm doing. Just blindly click the red exclamation points and claim yet more currency types. I see no point in buying anything in this game when I know there are another 19 menus that will will want to buy this to upgrade that or do an event summon 1 out of 8 that are going on at the same time. A shame.
Yeah, you guys ruined the game with the ad boost. Repetitive events, nothing fun to keep you into the game anymore. But the main issue is with the ads. I get funding, and it's a business, but now players almost now have to buy the boosts to stay ahead of the game. You lost me, and you're likely going to lose more. It was fun while it lasted, I suppose.
Not actually a game. Typical mobile shovelware that plays itself - all you have to do is click the highlighted boxes when it tells you to click them, or pay for upgrades if you want the numbers to go up faster. It's a shame that there's no original or skill-based gameplay here, because the writing, art, animation, and voice acting are surprisingly good. Does a mostly good job of respecting the source material, but this is clearly a ToG-skinned game, not a game truly inspired by and based on ToG.
Money Hungry! I've played a lot of gachas, but this game stinks when it comes to pushing *overpriced* sales. You have to spend 20 dollars for a single 10 pull with low rates. Once you hit a certain point you just can't progress unless you spend money or wait a week to advance just a little bit. I LOVE costumes and skins for my characters - I'll gladly spend a little money on that. But the skins are $20+ each because they include 5 single pulls??? I regularly pull 20+ times without a single "SSR"
