I finally get used to using your app and you change it. I can't find anything. very tough to navigate. down loaded the updated version, tried to figure it out, then you released another new version. QUIT CHANGING IT. now I can't even get it to open so I have no idea what I have left for data. we haven't been able to open my wife's app for over 6 months and for some reason it started showing up on my phone. I can't even figure out what plan I have anymore when I could get the app to open.

new update is absolutely horrible. can't find your end date anymore, trying to refill your plan is almost impossible. navigated around and around in circles until I stumbled on the exact right combination to get it done. couldn't tell you how I did it. keeps making me log in over and over during the same session. the thing is impossible to navigate. had Tracfone for years, it's never been like this. if I could give 0 stars I would.

for almost a year now (haven't been keeping track), I haven't been able to get rhe app to work. It keeps the loading sign. Even though it has been updated and obviously changed. It is starting to seem pretty scam like, which is weird because when it started out, it was amazing and I kept telling everyone to switch and use it. This is just ridiculous. Now even the browser seems odd. I'm pretty sure I just changed my password the last time and now it doesn't recognize any of my passwords?

This year the app is even more confusing! They took out our user or service end dates. I had to look everywhere, wasted a lot of my time. For something that was simple as sending a text to them and ask. But that means they could have just put the numbers there, instead I have to use my texts and/or look at plans. This is probably a marketing strategy anyway.

The newest update is horrible! Not sure when it happened. Sometime in February. They completely revamped it. It is really slow and has a really bad case of that annoying scroll-jump around so you can never click on anything or scroll at all. When you click on something it jumps forward and back a couple pages at a time sometimes. They don't save your credit card or number anymore so you have to enter them manually. I tried to tell customer service but they weren't interested in hearing it.

This app has always been a little rough around the edges, but after this latest round of updates, it's become practically unusable. It hands most functionality over to whatever web browser you have set, and it no longer displays when your plan expires. The widget was also non-functional, refusing to display anything except an error and, for some reason, the Total Wireless logo, but that seems to have been fixed. Nevertheless, I am most displeased.

I don't like that the app can't access the account when you run out of data minutes. update. I just got hit with another 25 mb app update download! was hit with one about a week ago! Here we go again, with more changes! Months ago I got hit with changes in the purchasing more time routine. I went from a couple of steps to about 15 steps! press this, enter that...🤷‍♂️🙄

I love my phone and the service. I've had tracfone for many years. However, this app is a giant step backwards and a total disaster. The new Dashboard is useless. Want more details about your plan? Good luck with that. Trying to determine your account status (service end date) requires you to start an "Assistant", and trying to leave feedback is impossible because you can't see what you are typing. To me the changes to the app are more about marketing than providing you with useful info.

Don't update!!!! they really messed this one up. I have been with Tracfone for 20 plus years and with this smartphone apps for close to a decade. it has always been buggy, off and on. sometimes it works well and other times not so good, like now, but the widget has always been eradic. some tricks to get it to work: sign out, sign back in, remove the widget, add it back and keep your fingers crossed. now for 4 days, nothing, it won't update even when you ooen the app and check back to update!

The app has changed recently. Navigating it is awful. I tried for 10 minutes trying find where I could enter the card I just bought to add a 90 day plan. Now that I finally was able to enter it, the app will not show me my updated balances. Almost everything you click on in the app makes you re-enter your cell number and password. See your balances is not an option I can find. I just keep clicking on different options hoping I accidentally find it.

Awful upgrade! Compared to the old version this is a joke! Plans don't show expiration date anymore (and nowhere to be found), app links don't work (like "show broadband facts" link) or go in circles through multiple logins when you try to change plan, and then you still cannot change it. The old app was nothing fancy but had everything important easily accessible and actually worked. It seems no one ever attempted to test this upgrade before releasing it.

Like so many other people in the review section. I am going to mention how horrible the new app update is. I added a new TracFone unlimited $20 cards last night. it said it was added to my account and then this morning I tried using it and didn't seem to work. I was able to login to Wi-Fi at a store to check it and said my calls/texts were unlimited. but my data was 0. then when I contacted customer service. I felt like I was being jerked around. as they didn't know what to say to me.

Absolute trash. Zero stars but 5 💩💩💩💩💩Time to start looking elsewhere. It takes way longer to log in. It pushes you to buy the last plan you purchased, & it's not at all easy to view other options. Where the the app used to save my password, it no longer does. I login with my email, wait some more & I'm redirected to the TracFone site to enter my password. Lastly, service start & end dates are gone from dashboard.

With one new upgrade you have managed to screw up a good app. Where is the screen for my minutes, texts and data? And I can't even go in and buy data or texts easily now. Don't even know how to do it now. I've wasted my data just trying to figure app out now. I've been a Tracfone customer for well over 10 years and unless this changes back, I'm going to find a new provider and plan. You have only made this app worse. Not easier or modern. Just worse!

this app is Janky AF. extremely slow. sometimes unresponsive. took hours the first time. but it's recently been updated. it took me 25 minutes to get logged in and re-up my service when I'm already registered with TracFone and have the app already. the app forgot who I was or am stored information. of course I was on Wi-Fi because my service expired today and apparently was turned off mid-morning with no additional email or text. I can't complain about the service itself but their data $$$

It works to a point. The items that seem to be off on this latest version is the main screen is just not as simple to understand or use as the older version. Also there's this hello box, but whatever is supposed to be in that box is empty, there's nothing there. Under that my phone is showing, the min, text, and data amounts are listed, but nowhere is my service date information. Finding the place to fill in the information from a phone card isn't as easily found as it was on the old app.

updated on 2-13-26. crashed 4 times while starting/restarting. Finally works. There is a problem, but it's tolerable. The widget (my only reason for using the app) doesn't say TracFone. It says Total Wireless. It does show my remaining minutes, texts, & data. I miss the old "airtime tank" when the phone actually kept track of when you need a refill.

The new "updated" version of the app is so useless I may just uninstall it altogether. There is nowhere on it where I can see my current balance of texts/data/minutes—you know, the main reason someone opens this app!? Instead I had to poke around until I finally got to access "my account" through a link to the WEBSITE on the other side of at least twenty different screens/links and two logins. Are you kidding me? What is even the point of having an app, if not to check on my phone!?

if I could I would give a -5. Took me one hour to find where I could upload the card pin and then I was told it did not work and I had to connect to customer service as the 36! in line. could not even see what I was typing since this app was not done right and keyboard was displayed over the text. Nice going 👍and you WAS the best phone service.

The updated app is horrible! My wife and I tried using it for our separate Tracfones - we can't even find out something so basic as when as plans expire! It is essentially worthless, and we'll be uninstalling it. We're now forced to go to the tracfone website, which, thankfully, still has essential information and easy transactions.
