Translate - Translator App

Ads are too agressive... Update: while I understand you need ads to support your app, Having ads that pop up so frequently obstructs the purpose of the app. Especially trying to use it for a conversation. I was giving this app a try to see if it was better than a translation app I am currently using (which is also free and has far less ads; also accuracy is the same). Have a great day⚘️

This app's interface is easy to use. I am not sure if it can translate a huge amount of text characters like Google Translate, but it looks like it can and it has a good looking logo. Ace has the offline Spanish language pack as a zip file. From an internet search, I found this: Zipped (compressed) files take up less storage space and can be transferred to other computers more quickly than uncompressed files. That is why the Ace offline Spanish pack downloaded from a 2G internet connection!

Worst app ever . I have no idea why there are so many high ratings. You can't get past the ads, but even to figure out how to pay to get rid of them. The funny little button to translate only let's you translate Spanish. Everything else you have to disks. Until you try. Then there's always an error. Seriously, there's 10min of my life I won't get back

I have a high tolerance for ads in free apps, especially ones that function as well as this one, but these are excessive. A pop up when you open the app and multiple banners in app are expected, but to also have pop ups in between every translation is unreasonable. The first time I opened the app there was a pop up to "start free trial", which could easily be mistaken as coming from AceTools Team. It seems other reviewers were deceived by this ad, and consequently scammed. Very sad.

The translator itself is fine (they've just ported in Google Translate as far as I can tell?) but the ads are so obnoxious. Can barely choose an option or type a word to translate without being bombarded with full-screen and half-screen ads every 2 seconds. Borderline unusable. There are way better translator apps out there. Honestly, using Google Translate in a web browser would be better than this.

Used for one picture and it shoved 3 ads down my throat, in the collective span of 1 minute. I get you gotta make money somehow, but intrusive advertising is not only, an extremely poor strategy, but outdated as well. I'm sure a bill will be passed soon enough that bans the use of intrusive ads, I'd vote for it.

Tried to use this app, and it gave the ads more screen time than the app itself. Also, some ads seem to jump into a browser, so I was left wondering where did the app disappear. I get that the app is paid by the advertisers, but they won't get much visibility either when the unusable app goes into a bin.

This app is great, and does a good job translating things. You can even take pictures of the words and have it translate it! That makes it a whole lot easier when translating languages that don't use the english alphabet. There arent many ads either. I really recommend this app.

I wanted to love this app becaus the UI was clean and simple to understand but for every action I need to take - changing the to/from orientation of the language, to copy+paste into a chat function, or something as simple as erasing the text to enter new text...an ad will pop up. This UX is so frustrating and not worth keeping the app. I hope this gets better or a paid option becomes available to minimize the aggravation.

Way too many ads,they take the phone over as you can't use it. I got an ad for a 400 dollar popcorn machine and 1 for tick tock and another for something else. I never got to even use it .In my opinion it sucks. I understand that ads are necessary but to the point of not being able to use the app is stupid

This app caused ads to start popping up on my phone when the app was not in use. The app launches on boot, and then when your screen would timeout, it throws an ad up. I was getting Google Play ads for tiktok that would just launch themselves. No way to exit the ad except to click on it, and it would open Google Play to the TikTok page. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP.

I uninstalled it almost immediately. Perhaps it translates well, but the ads are insane. I'm trying to communicate for work and I've got to wait and navigate thru ads just to say a simple sentence or two. Just not practical for me

Generally good, but would really like the ability to slow down the spoken translation so I can actually understand the foreign words. In my case, the spanish spoken by the app is so fast even the native spanish speakers can barely understand what the app speaks.

When I read or hear some difficult words, I don't know their meanings. When I update this app I read many new words.And I talk about this app to many my relatives,my friends, my classmates and my parents, my classteacher, my subject teacher, my tuition teacher. There are very to happy to hear about this app, and they told me that they would also update this app.I like this app very much. When I was free, I used this app to learn more new words and their meaning also. My exam has start. Thank you

I paid against premium version for lifetime validity, after payment I noticed my payment is showing for another app, if i am not confused developers of both app was the same and for this app different amount was asked to be paid, then i cancelled the purchase. If premium version for this app is activated, i can request for cancellation of refund.

Works well but ads ads ads. I'd likely pay if there was a cheap ads free version. Also image translator is sometimes rough and you need a couple tries for the text to be translated. Otherwise no complaints.

This app is so amazing and I was amazed to see like this app . I haven't see like this translating app and my first translate app for ever . I am sure that no one can make translating app like Google. It so amazing 🤩🤩. If anyone is seeing my experience please try it out it is very useful to communicate and can write or speak in not known languages. Also their features is amazing to see it having camera to capture the document or letter it is very amazing to see. Thank you.

I downloaded this app it says 100 percent free and gives u the option to uncheck a box for additional subscriptions that cost money ...it still charged my card 39 dollars for some reason .and I couldn't find the translater after them charging me for it ..if I could give a minus star rating I would

It has helped me to talk to this incredibly cute Spanish girl who plays Tekken 7 and Street fighter, just like me on way too high of a level, just like me. . Finding a cute girl who is really good in the fgc, and is also into other girls, is literally unicorn level discovery! Yes that's just me braggin' sorry. But for real, this is made it super easy for us to just talk to each other without misunderstandings. And my peeps, I'm proud to report, I'm in first kiss city baby! ~ App was my wings

Great app but uninstalled because of annoying full-page ads. If you're going to keep the app free-with-ads, please make them less intrusive or offer a paid version. Thanks anyway!
