The salon canceled on me, its been 3 weeks of chasing my refund. You cannot get through to anyone from customer service. Theres no contact number. There emails bounce back and that chat bot always says theres no one available and closes the chat. Its hard to speak to someone. Due to this i will be deleting the app and never using it again. Il take payment issue up with my bank as a fraud attempt.
Doesn't let to change the service. For example I ordered laminating lashes+eyebrows, but then plans changed and I see that I won't have time for eyebrows, so I just want to change the service to "only lashes" and I can't do that without canceling the order and loosing time slot. Another thing is when I click "call salon" it redirects to call app with the number starting 0 instead of +370. I order services while being abroad, before coming to Lithuania, so 0 is not working
app itself is good as has good options of treatments, sometimes with discounts, and easy to book. However, how disappointing it is to collect points for over a year to get a reward and that reward expires in a month. Definitely not worth it then and as good as booking direct.
DO NOT PAY FOR ANYTHING IN ADVANCE UNLESS GOING TO A SALON YOU KNOW AND TRUST!!Treatwell will almost invariably side with the hairstylists, some of whom can easily be mistaken for a shake-down specialized mobster thanks to non-transparent practices where the service all of a sudden is not what you booked.. you see... and you need to pay almost double. Treat them like what they claim themselves to be when you want your money back -a calendar app for booking appointments, nothing more!!!
Really use it and one star is not for the app necessarily, but for the company. A venue made me pay extra for something that was booked and paid in full through the app, something that's very common according to their reviews. Treatwell decided to side with the venue claiming that I requested "additional services" without any further details.
Plenty of issues within the app - search of service by date does not work, listed salons in some cases have no available timeslots on that date; filtering of ratings by service tyle always gives error, so does not work at all; when the app is open the only thing I can see on the top bar is battery charge % - no time, no notification, signal strenght etc. icons. I'm using dark theme, but this is the only app to behave in such a way
I got the standard manicure with normal polish. not only was the service great, but it has been almost a week and the polish has not chipped at all! Will definitely book again.
The app conveniently found spas in my area, and the booking process was super simple. I love the categories and sub categories, very straightforward if you know what you are looking for. There was no problem with using my gift card either. I pre added it, and it just showed up at check out. Hands down the easiest booking ever. Will definitely use this app again. It's put my new era of spa experiences at ease.

when it works it's great. every couple months it will let you go through the process of selecting everything including the day and time, but then when you go to pay, it gives you a blank screen for days. today, yesterday and the day before are those days...
Super convenient for someone who is very nervous calling a salon with rudimentary German. Just wish it would let me use it in English instead! Some of the treatments and hair things just do not translate with translation apps and you sometimes end up booking wrong. There's a section that says country and language, you can select country but not language. PLEASE fix this!!!
Terrible not in terms of app but service . Some of the places are no longer open but the app allows you to book with them and you only find out when you go there. On top of it, when you want to leave a review so people know, the app tells you that you have already reviewed the place when you have not. Overall I will probably not use it to book via them again. Time wasters!
The review and pay page is not working and nobody is responding The chat service is useless - I want to speak to a person I have now lost £60 worth of points because of the failure of the pay page .I'm very annoyed about the terrible service - lack of any reply at all.
Used to be brilliant but the app has been broken for months, as others have said the payment screen is blank. I have been booking via the website but the interface is so clunky it's actually difficult to find and rebook my regular treatment 😭
This is some of the most unintuitive and trash pieces of software you can find, never use this app, the problems with geo location/not showing places available via the web and such makes it not worth it
Gave me a booking confirmation without checking with the salon. Salon only got notified of my appointment when I was on the way, and called me to offer a slot next week. What's the point if they don't have accurate availability data?
Last time I booked an appointment I only found out that the studio was closed because I couldn't find it. Until now I didn't get any feedback about the further progress and am still waitung for my refund. Even though it's easy to book and a lot of studios are available, as soon as it comes to customer service you can totally foget it.
