The last 6 months as a host, trevo was good. once Trevo implemented new rules starting this new year 2026, they have ceiling rate for same type of car. I can't set my own price, so my car (saga) price increase RM25 from previous price. since then, my car started not to have any booking because it is too pricey. pity the guess also because they don't have much option for their desired car.
Worse support and refund experience. I tried to book a car and it require payment first which it went through my credit card. After that the booking got rejected which require me to click on the booking to get a refund. However when I click on the booking, it stuck on loading page. When I try to raise this issue with the support team, they or it (might be a bot) answers me a totally non-relevant answer.
Trevo is one of a good platform to rent a car now. it's so convenient , offer cheaper price, easy to book and many cars to choose suit to your budget. I like trevo 🥰
The host for the car, dasher and on call customer support are not the issue for me. The app, the service and the rude live chat is. Terrible experience for a first time user.
i've used trevo Twice last year,,but now in march 5 2026,,this app really suck,,i've got some error message when i try to book a car : - Validation Error,,i ve sign up and validated ID in trevo 2 years ago,,why now ITS error?? - Car price all in high demand,,even in weekday -payment failed via CC,,
Trash app. My account got blocked for no reason just because I didn’t use it for a while. They said it would take 3–5 working days, but it’s been MONTHS and still nothing. No updates, no proper support, just empty promises. Completely unreliable and a waste of time.
Tried many times in many days.. still can't sign up account.. it didn't send OTP to me for sign up.. the customer service is also lousy.. no useful totally..
the apps is convenient but there is one time this apps suddenly log out. hopefully can be fix and monitor this apps for avoiding any problems. overall, i satisfied.
worse worse app for buddy driver - cancelled me twice and told me they cant do anything because they are freelance drivers. and when i tried cancelling on their app it didnt respond and found a driver. then when i cancelled it, charge me half the price!!! when i complained they told me its the procedure. pls don't treat your loyal customers this way. i am switching to 1driver

Everyday is high demand it's ridiculous. I chose a random date and every calander has high demand price. Why don't you just name it Trevor Fees? Because it feels like you're taking commission from this not due to high demand.

been trying to book a car since two days ago but it keeps falling, emailed customer service yesterday to no avail
Such a hustle apps to use. First, you can't contact the host unless you booked the car first. In order to book you need to pass 3 stages of verification and unfortunately they don't provide any other payment method other than Credit/Debit Card. I can't believe they don't have Online Banking transaction. For my cases, my bank account was deducted twice for one transaction and guess what? You can't withdraw them back unless you deleted your account and only then your money will be returned to you.
Great idea, poorly executed. The not being confirmed until 2 hours before the booking allows your booking to be cancelled at the last minute, ruining plans. I just had the driver text me saying he won't deliver but if I cancel I'm charged and he can't cancel either. So now, 1.5 hours before I'm due to have plans I don't have a car, a booking and no response from support. Really bad! I would recommend using an alternative app.
The host that I got was very helpful and the car was thoroughly cleaned. I don't really like the app as it shows so many cars listed, but when you want to book it mentions unavailable at your time. i hope they can change it to something like airasia where the date and time is selected first then the cars shown is available. It is hassling to click each and every one of the listed car, set the date and time just to find out it's unavailable. Please change this part to make it easier for users.
The app is not user-friendly. Always hang during the collection of the car and the return of the car. Since the app is hanging we Unable to submit a photo of the inspection from the photo library, only able to submit a live picture of the inspection. This is really ridiculous. And there's no emergency hotline to call or speak with in case of an emergency from the app. Please get this fix if you want people to give a good review.
I'm not happy with recent updates. I appreciate lot of new changes and ideas integrated and running successfully. But when comes to performance of the app, lot of glitches. One such example, most of the times it's getting logout. Now I can't use my app it says no internet connection. Currently I'm traveling abroad and can't manage my bookings.
It's better to save your time by not installing this apps. Just signed up, requesting the OTP code for the first time but it's failed with "too many request, try again on an hour" message from the aps, how can this happen? Account verification took 7 workings day until I delete this app. No notification received, when I asked the live chat, you are talking to the chat bot, no solution.
