True Phone Dialer & Contacts

I've been using the paid version for a very long time now, and I can say without hesitation that this is an exceptional contact & dialer app. The amount of customization is insane, you can customize every little detail to your liking. It works flawlessly, never experienced any issues. However, there's one feature that this app doesn't have I wish it did, and that's a call blocking feature, where you can block certain numbers before manual blacklisting them, so unknown numbers can't ring through.

I've been using this for a week or so and really like it. Several features "just work" the way they should, no guessing or hoops to jump through. Nice contact management, nice polished look and feel. You can easily block numbers, would be nice if you could also report as spam. So far I haven't seen any ads but even so I will purchase it just because it's a quality product.

I really, REALLY, like this app. It's easy to customize, with a ton of options, including a call recorder, that works very well. I've never had ANY issues with it. Yes, the free version has ads, but they are very small, hardly noticeable, and aren't plastered on the screen where they might interfere with the functionality/operation of the app, or cause inadvertent clicks on the ads. Try it..! I think most will like it...

The biggest problem I find with this app is that there's no easy way, as there is with other, competing phone apps, to block a phone number, for instance, no option in "Recent phone calls" that one can just click on to block a number shown there as there is also no apparent way to block an incoming number as it appears on the screen. It seems that you have to enter the number manually that you seek to block, an extra, unnecessary step. This renders the app less useful than it could be.

Great!, powerful, tons of settings. I'm so impressed I bought it and am Only half way though the customization options! You can tell the Devs have really poured their heart into this app! Originally I got it bc no limitations to # of characters I can put in contact notes! It syncs perfect with Google. If you're not getting a perfect sync, make sure you don't have "only show contacts with numbers" enabled. You may have contacts without numbers. Only weakness is no link to video calling.

The only reason this is getting 3 stars instead of 5 stars is because I paid to remove ads, but the ads are still there! When I click the Remove Ads option again, it just says "Okay" in a little bubble at the bottom but ads still show. Yes, I'm dropping TWO stars because I've now said for an option that's not doing the ONE THING it is supposed to be doing! Fix this and get the 5 stars or GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!!!

The app has all the essentials and really good at what it supposed to do. There are a lot of customization options and it displays a lot of information that the stock phone app doesn't. Premium is very cheap compared to the other apps, and they offer a one time payment option! On the negative side the UI is a little dated & graphic is rather basic. The color customization is from a fixed list of colors. I wish they would update the UI & add more color options. A spam database would be great!

Well it's been a while. I do t like it as much now. My phone tab shows who I've talked to recently and has the edit cards. My contacts do not. Should be opposite. Also contacts should show me the notes and numbers. Also it's very hard to add people to my groups. Going one by one is horrible. I may look for a different dialer. 2018...THE best dialer! Has search, favorites, tons of tweaks, can see info below name if I want. Lots more! MUST check this one out!

*UPDATE* It saves the contact in the filename! STARS! I have been wanting this for a very long time. Ever since Google decided people should not protect themselves from unwanted calls and disabled the feature, Google doesn't like personal protection for some reason, I have wanted a call recorder. This call recorder does not work well as a handset call but when you put it on speaker it works great! You need to configure the settings to your liking. I have mine set automatically record every call.

THIS IS AND HAS BEEN THE BEST APP OF MY LIFE!! When I read the reviews about how this phone app does not meet their needs, I know they have not invested the time needed to use and personalize EVERY contact. TRUE Phone is truly the most valuable, time saving, and easiest app to find and call anyone, anywhere. Plan on taking one hour to set up and personalize EVERYTHING. Try starting with contact card layout. you could live without . Keep it simple.

Wonderful app, this app is marvelous! It is easy to use and allows contact groupings, call duration, history, blocking, and everything else you could want! Just be sure to leave the stock app on - do not disable it. The setting for 'voicemail received' sound, among other settings, is in the stock app. Thank you! June, 2022: STILL wonderful! Wouldn't be without it!

I have updated my review after using the app for over a month. I lowered my review because there is no way to automatically switch to video calls and I had to switch back to the OEM phone app. It has a lot of flexibility in configuring it but no video. I do have to commend the app for being very user friendly if you do not have to make video calls.

Found this dialer some years ago as I was searching for a replacement to a third party dialer that I had grown bored and dissatisfied with. I enjoy the ease of setup and the array of colors and customization (can change the size of the keypad which helps those with large fingers previously trying to dial small keypads). Old app was better. No voicemail notification icon on contact's phone call log entry? Really? What if you miss a call because your phone is temporarily not with you? The way it is now, you have to dig to even see you have a voice mail. It would be much better to have it right on the call log entry. Why do newer apps take out great features?

Just want to say the devs reply to the top review about call recording is a lie, maybe an intern handles their personal dev account replies to customers, it's not only possible, it is ubiquitous in apps available right now via accessibility. Even without that, the microphone is in use has never stopped anything else working. Record your own voice with a voice recording app that runs in the background. No mic in use error ever. Just So angry about call recording not working. I rely on it.

Love and Highly recommend this app. I hate Samsung's new update. The interface is terrible. Tried another phone app, it was just too busy. Absolutely Too much. This one is perfect. Everything at your fingertips. Thank you for a great job. Changing from a 5 star to a 2 star. I don't know what has happened in the last week but if a number isn't in my favorites, I can't type the name in and get the number. It's just blank. I have to go into my android dialer to find a number and dial it.

I love this app. I like how you can not only customize the way your phone calls look but you can also customize the app itself. I also love all the features & they work well. There are small adds when you open & view a contact in your contact list but they don't bother me. If you want to remove adds you'll need to pay a small one time payment. I would recommend this app to anyone.

This can be a good app which is what I thought when I first installed it. However, for a month now, every time I open it, it pops up a notkce that I am not running the latest version and I need to update it. That is incorrect, because I always have the most current version. I have deleted my cache and reinstalled it twice, but nothing corrects the issue. Otherwise, it's packed with many customizeable features and is a great app. My friend has the same problem on her phone.

After trying for months to find an app that had a simple UI, dark mode, and side-swipe answer capability, it's here! Has great customization too. Only issue is I can't disable voicemail notifications. I use a visual voicemail app, and because I can't disable this aop's voicemail notifications, I get two notifications every time someone leaves a voicemail. Please allow us to disable individual notifications like this! Will pay to upgrade app and give 5 stars when that's possible.

Great app with lots of features and customization options. Easy to use and intuitive interface. The only thing I didn't find (that would, probably, make this app a 5-start) is a way to reject calls with predefined messages (e.g. "I'll call you later" or "In a meeting") Update: had to switch from another caller app back to this and it's now a 5 star app! Absolutely love it!
