Truth Social

Unreliable. First, it's security algorithm said I violated a policy. When I emailed cust svc, they said it was their mistake. Now, I was messaging with someone, all of a sudden, I was signed out. Trying to sign back in & have been unable to. I get message I am going too fast. The code writers are not at the top of their field. There are also many more fake profiles on here than real ones. There are no measures to stop fake profiles using stolen pictures. This is like a 20 yr old faulty app.

The first time was difficult setting up the account, then once active it started to work fine. That was until they suspended/banned my account with no notification, email, or text as to what the reason was. I'll change my review if they give me the account back and give the reason why it happened in the first place. At least with other social media, you're notified and given warnings. What Truth Social is, definitely not justified in suspending/banning an account without reason.

Videos are ALWAYS a problem. I have yet to be able to watch one single video! I'm not exaggerating. I haven't been able to watch not one single video. They start playing, but as soon as I touch inside the video window to make it full screen or unmute or pause or anything, it stops playing and I cannot get it to resume or start over. Videos are just a HARD FAIL!!!

Installed but won't create an account. After email verification, I get to the part of adding my phone number (I don't like that but understand it) and it says "something went wrong" and won't let me proceed with making an acct / using the app. From one dev to another, unhandled exceptions and generic, nondescript error messages are seriously sloppy coding! Pull it out you guys. There is a lot more at stake than just pictures of someone's dinner.

Tried to set up an account, but I can't get past the bit where you MUST enter a phone number! The app can't recognise my number no matter how I put it into the form, therefore rendering the app impossible to set up and use. **EDIT** It's got even worse now! I click to register an account and nothing happens at all. I can't even get past that page to set one up. At least I got to the bit where you could put a phone number in before! edit August 7th.

Tired of Facebook and thought this was a good option. While creating a new account it asked for a username so I typed in one....only to be given an error message saying "usernames can only contain letters, numbers, or underscores". My username was simply letters. I tried a bunch of different things and all got the same error message. If you can't even get the registration part of this app to work right....it sure doesn't make me feel like the app is worth using.

While the premise sounds good, it's meaningless if one cannot even set up an account. Everything went smoothly until I was asked to input my phone number. When I did, a red banner popped up reading "Something went wrong. Try again.", bringing all forward progress to an abrupt halt. I guess we're stuck with Zuckerberg until you iron out this frustrating issue.

This app is just ok. lots of things to work out. you can't go back and edit anything if you made any misspells or mistakes. there's no option that I found. when I'm looking at other stuff, all of a sudden a big red warning will pop up: "oops! something went wrong!" then whatever I'm looking at is "unavailable and can't be reached!" probably Google doing it. Also there's a lot of spam/bot accounts, but that's the issue with all social media isn't it.

I couldn't create an account until I got a whole new email address. When I finally got in, the app is very plain which makes it hard to navigate. I joined a couple groups, but groups don't matter because bots are posting the same content in every group anyway. For content, there's nothing but political speech, often lacking references to facts and violent in nature. This is an anti-social network, not worth the frustration of a poorly performing app with frequent service crashes.

I didn't experience any of the issues others seem to have. Registration was very easy, there was no paywall, there was no failure forcing me to restart, but there was a waiting period for my account to activate. My only wish was that it didn't feel like the app was just a desktop shortcut to a mobile web page. I feel like a bookmark in Firefox would perform the same. Otherwise, I hope the platform grows beyond it's current echo chamber state.

There is major issue with the app. its not letting me login as i have forgotten the username. when you try to retrieve the username by selecting forgot, it says you are going to fast. when i try to register new username it says many users on this phone number. Its a bug which needs to be corrected. otherwise the app is great. Another issue now is that it is logging out automatically when i have created a new account via another phone number. If its not logged in how will it give latest updates?

This app was working great on Note 20, but it died! So went to this cheaper phone and now the app keeps saying I have a VPN & to disable it to sign in and continue to use it! Wow. Never thought that would happen. Maybe some web jockey out there is messing with this app! Since I see so many others are having issues with it....just a thought. I was getting a lot of my direct information from the Truth Social app too. It is a great app when it's working. But...wow! Turn off my VPN AND LEAVE IT OFF?

The app is great. I have an account for years. Now, all of a sudden, it's under review. Can't do anything on the site. I deleted the app. Down loaded again Same thing. They finally fixed the review process Back to posting

The WORST social media app on earth. It is full of outright lies and only really seems to be all about driving hatred and division. The technology is at best substandard, and the UI is a disaster.

I refuse to agree to ads but even when I do click the box to agree it still won't let me continue to set up. Also what is the deal with the British flag with plus 44?

I can't sign in it keeps saying incorrect password n I have to keep going back to Google n start from the beginning im trying to uninstall the app it won't let me

Would love to check Truth Social out, but not while you are requiring actual mobile handset numbers to register! Can't use my Google Voice number, so I guess that settles it. You're missing out on numerous potential accounts!

I love Truth. I have been using truth for over 4 years now. it's getting better all the time. groups are nice. it's a great app to keep up with the latest news In America. and the chat box is nice for private conversations with others you make friends with. the app is good never crashes . lees it's never crashed on me in my 4 years of using it. you can shear songs from YouTube fairly esely or other music apps . I give this app 5 Star ⭐ because it's way safer than most 🇺🇸 social apps

I'm not sure if everyone is experiencing the same problems with the app as I am but I get notifications and when I open them nothing is there most of the time... especially periodical updates on weather...

App doesn't credit follows each time,or sometimes I have noticed one day I may have 3or 4 followers removed from the count. Maybe it's bc I'm not a verified VIP, just an average American citizen. An app can't be #1 if this is what they do.
