I've used this app for years. We used to have to get this to get an advance on our taxes. That's how long I've had it! This app is a nightmare. It's not just the app it's also the website. I login and it'll tell me a crazy amount is available. 1 day it's neg $99 and another I have an extra $279 in there. Every day. Not only is it inaccurate but I am definitely showing a neg balance more often to where when I transfer from my vault, I have to pay the neg balance! It doesn't add up, literally. POS
Absolute garbage lately, I've been using this since 2016 and the last two years have been utter b.s., they never reply to the help chat option and if an error occurs while moving money from your vault, you lose it for good! I even went in to a store today, moved my money over and went to pay for my items only to be told there were insufficient funds, then my balance is missing the money from the transaction that didn't even go through! I messaged them 8 times on their only option and nothing!
Garbage app!!! Every time I try to log in "Something went wrong. Please try to log in again later" or "Something isn't quite right!" Despite typing my password in the same way every time. Also, there are times when I have to create a new password because "somethings not quite right!" and it never texts me the verification code, so I have to wait until the next day to try again.
I did rate the app 4 stars bc the app is easy to use. HOWEVER, I got a local bank account instead of the card bc I can't talk to live customer service reps when I need information on my account. Plus, they can read the reviews and chime in with info but that info is NO WHERE on their site which only loads when it wants to. ALSO, bill pay records are not available on the website. When I closed the account, they left access to the balance, not the bill pay confirmation numbers. Now I can't get in touch with a live service rep to get my records.Use this card short term until you can get a bank account. Less hassle and you can TALK to someone, instead of getting a recording that hangs up on you. 😈
Will never use this card for anything again. We can't get a live person on the phone, can't readily check balances without verification through text or email, they only list the primary tax filer on the card (making it difficult for the secondary/spouse to withdraw funds) and the daily limits are not accurate on their website. There are better companies out there.
Horrible horrible horrible. Can never get a hold of a person. If you have an issue, you are sent in circles. I had to order a new card because I never got the first one. Then when I lost my card and had to order a new, same story. They said I would have it in 2 days it has been 7. The app is atrocious as well. Always loading. Cant make transfers. Even worse now. Account is closed and got a text saying that they will re open it and then when calling they say wrong number and hang up
it's a decent app for what it is, when you are actually able to access your money. I constantly have issues where I can't unstash the money in my vault which is an issue when bills are due. the customer support is a joke and never any help. I've been using this card for years but I believe this may be the last year I'm going to have this.
Before this week I would have given this app a 5-star rating. Suddenly, however, now that stimulus deposits have started being sent, both this app AND the website refuse to allow connections, throwing some message that "an error has occurred" with no description. I haven't even been able to reach a login screen for 5 days. Intuit had better stop holding my money hostage or they'll be losing my long-time business.
👉My biggest issue is the Dispute Transaction process, which is quite difficult, inconvenient & lengthy. I feel as though, especially with such a well known & established company (ies), the process to dispute an incorrect charge should be fairly simple, as banks offer an online option to do so. The process takes at least a month to receive a 'Received' notice& even longer to receive funds that were taken from you. This fact alone is enough to make you think twice about using TurboCard. 👎
Horrible banking option. They set a small limit on atm withdraws and refuse to release funds in any venmo transfer, credit card payment, etc. I've filed BBB and CFPB complaints. Their customer service is based in india where they'll pretend to be the coorperate office, then just hangup on you. They undergo "maintenance" often if you have a significant amount of money in your account to keep you from withdrawing or transferring anything. You can't pay credit cards with this card, venmo, etc.
App not working. Hasnt been working right for a couple weeks. I see im not the only one. My job direct deposits on this card and i cant access my money. Cant log into website and customer service is just an automated voicemail that tells me they arent accepting calls right now. What the hell is going on on your end? I cant buy food or pay bills. How about you get it fixed.
There is no option to contact u or ask questions. Why doesn't transactions on the app show a balance after every transaction or when loading money to the card? It's not like we get a monthly statement. And because we do not there needs to be better track kept of transactions with a balance listed after everyone made. And an option to talk to a person to answer questions & concerns. My payroll will not be directly deposited the way it is now.
great app the only problem is when u deposit a check, should have option to deposit sooner, especially when you are living pay check to pay check, had to wait an additional 7 days to receive my funds, that was rough. the company should offer faster deposit even if it's for a small amount so you have the option to get your money faster. Other then that great app, very user friendly.
Unable to use temporary card. I've called customer service numerous times and I still can't get any use from my temporary card at all to make any online purchases or pay bills after several complaints to the call center..... still unresolved. I was told there is a system issue going on causing problems with temporary cards that is being worked on but there is no timeframe of when this will be fixed. This is very sad... What is the purpose of the advance if customers can't access their funds...
Closed my account for no apparent reason. I sent pictures of my I'd like they asked, but that still wasn't good enough. They permanently closed my account before the said 30 day period was up. When I try to call them sometimes they put me on hold just to end up hanging up. They say I have to wait to see if I'm eligible for a refund check, and they say the exact same thing every time I call. Getting scammed is one thing. But actually getting scammed by your actual bank is unbelievable.
The app just does not work at all for me. Same info online, after hours of trying, but it simply won't work and TurboTax can't help you when you call. The greendot number won't even go through, when you ask for help. You get axed out of the que because it won't let you wait, it just kicks you out when you get through and says to call latter. Never using turbo tax again, after this. Too much confusion throughout every step of the way.
Garbage. Simply wanted to check the balance without ATM and am forced to sign up for the app or onto the website instead of just calling a number on the back like any rational company. Wouldn't tell me what was wrong with the password, just that it wouldn't accept it despite containing numbers and min characters. Forcing me to jump through hoops for your marketing BS pisses me off. Just removing the money to add to my other card and uninstalling, so thanks for the nonsense
I shouldnt even give this app a star. IT SUCKS, All of it. You have to verify your phone number or email everytime you log in. When verifying with your email it kicks you out. The app is slow. Customer Service?? Well there isnt none whatsoever. I tried to go to walmart and buy things and couldbt even do so because it constantly said i was using the wrong pin number. It just completely sucks.
MAKE SURE YOU DON'T FALL FOR ANY OF THEIR SCAMS! They advertise as a free tax filing website but then they strongly encourage you to upgrade. I upgraded to plus or whatever it's called where they say you're supposed to be able to speak to CPAs or a live representative if needed but I have yet to talk to anyone. That was an extra $70 mind you. And for what?? And the card...they charge a monthly fee and my stimulus check hasn't showed up and i have no one to call to find out where it's at!!
Had it for the first 2 weeks after I finally filed my taxes and it did great. My money finally come on my card just 2 days ago and now I'm having trouble with it. Every time I try to log in it says "sorry something went. Try again later." I even uninstalled it and re-installed it and its still doing the same thing. Definitely needs some bug fixes and updates
