Twitcast (TwitCasting)

This app is okay. It basically does the job, although I find the coin system really confusing. There's also often a lot of latency in the video stream, and the automatic captions don't always work. What would be _really_ cool is if it had some sort of automatic translation so I can understand Japanese streamers better.

I want to throw a tea bomb along with some description but it doesn't let me. After I type, the button went missing and I can't scroll the window down either. Please fix this. I also noticed that the position of 'yes' and 'no' answer for the survey function is the opposite from the Japanese. I always wonder if I'm choosing the wrong answer from everyone else since the positions are swapped when in English. Please look into this as well. Thank you.

Twitcast has loyalty badges, viewer anonymity by choice, a vast selection of tags including some extremely useful ones like 弾き語り, optional overlay, plays in the background, and has audio only options. This is arguably one of the best streaming platforms, if not the best that I've ever used as a viewer. It's pretty difficult to think of any addition to improve Twitcast.

The new features the update speed are slow and I missed some livestream.

Subscriptions in the browser version and in the android app are not synchronized with each other, it is very inconvenient. When registering a new account, it would be nice to have a quick tour of how things work. After reinstalling the android app, subscriptions disappeared and I had to re-sub to streamers.

App layout changes often, so you're always left searching for certain features/settings. Blocking feature is not very goodーharmful users can create multiple different accounts to avoid blocks. Search results are limited and never update, so it's hard to manually search for new people/content. UI and features should be more consistent across different operating systems. Normal categories are also not available when screen-sharing on mobile, can only set it to games

This a great streaming and viewing app. The live streams mostly has cozy vibes, Free points to support your favourite streamers are given occasionally, which I really appreciate. It's mostly in Japanese, but there's 「 English OK 」 tag, to help you find streams in English, or that are able to interact with using it. There are different streams types: Audio only, Camera, Studying, Gaming, ASMR, and Vtubers. It's overall a Lovely cozy app for streaming. ♥︎

It used to be pretty good but now sometimes, the stream is choppy and lags a lot even when the internet is good enough for me to watch hd youtube streams. If the internet is a bit worse, then it will just load to infinity. It can get so bad even loading the list of streams takes forever.

Can you fix this app? I can't log in to my account. Even when I wanna sign in a new account, still, I can't! It keeps saying that it can't be loaded and all. Please fix it. I can still watch streaming on web but I do prefer the mobile version because it's always be more convinent. So I would like to have this app being fixed.

Experience as a viewer. Live viewing is somewhat acceptable though I feel it's heavier than yt or twitch for the usual content. Archive viewing is simply bad. Not only require the app to be in the foreground, weak media seeker, and heats up phone more than live viewing.

I hope this app can add a feature that lets streamers ban and report rude or disrespectful viewers during live streams. Sometimes the chat can get uncomfortable, and it’s hard for streamers to handle it alone while live. It would also really help if streamers could assign moderators to their live videos, so someone can manage the chat and keep things respectful.

I am really thankful to be able to use this application as i get to connect with japanese artists and watch their live stream performances. But recently it started with lagging and buffering issues when i watch back their streams. Hope this problem will be solved soon! :)

I lowkey love this app it's lowkey hella nice n I've met so many nice people it's difficult to use if you don't know how to look for English speakers and you can't speak Japanese at all but it's fine n most English speakers are chill

Really fun. But even though it provides English Language support for streamers, monetization is not an option even if you reach their target goals. As a foreigner, If you wish to monetize your content you should try a different platform. Other than that it's great for connecting with Japanese bands, artists, and people.

The app might look English but it's totally Japanese, and most people don't like foreigners and shoo them away- So only use it if you can speak japanese to some degree!

Good streaming quality, however some UI elements dont make some sense. Trying to get from the start up screen to a channel you've fanned past streams is five taps, doesn't sound like a lot but feels like a lot

App not bad, but customer service for the platform is non existent; suddenly it stopped accepting my credit card for payment, but no one will get back to me or look into the problem

The interface is weird and I don't like how I can't watch old livestreams unless if they are recorded. I tried to watch some streams, but they kept loading and it was super annoying.

It's pretty good except I can't change my profile picture and my ID it's just numbers and when I refresh to see it again it's the same and goes back to the original

I don't know Twitcasting but there is this guy that goes live while playing 🎸. I love him so much. And I can only love him from afar. So thankful for this app because I can watch him whenever he goes LIVE.. THANK YOU SO MUCH TwitCasting.🤗☺️
