This banking app is awesome! The UI is super easy and intuitive. Buying vouchers and airtime's been a breeze. I really love how well it works with Google Wallet and Samsung Wallet. My only gripe is their WhatsApp support – you ask something, and they might not even get back to you. But otherwise, it's great.
I love it, easy to use and simple design. It feels like the money is in my actual pocket edit: Your virtual card really saved me today, i don't typically carry my cards on but today when i went to renew my licence the said they didn't take cash. i added the virtual card to Samsung wallet and paid like it's already 2050. We appreciate it. don't think because we don't talk about it we don't use it really does come in handy. if it weren't for it i would've spent more money coming back the next day
I lost my card and tried to cancel it on the app it says that it does not support app now I have to be calling tyme bank that time I'm using to call them my money could've been gone Yoo HAii I've never been so frustrated using this app I'm thinking of changing banks now because it's not reliable when it comes to situations like this
I’m stuck in a reset loop and can’t access my account. The app says 3D face verification is “blurry” (its not) when trying to reset my PIN, even though I’m using a high-quality camera and clear lighting. When I cancel, it tells me to reset via the web. The website then says I can only reset my password there and must use the app to reset my PIN. App says use web. Web says use app. I’m locked out. This needs a proper fallback option.
becareful joining this bank nit only will you be open to constant fraud calls, app block but also app fails imagine they keep your locked in the app and when you call in they give you a run around cause even they don't really know how to help they say they'll get it fixed in 6 business but take a whole month my funds are still locked in this stupid app!
I love this bank it saves money and I also prefer this old version of app banking not the new one called GOtyme but the only thing I would love to make us an option to be able to manage limits and be able to manage beneficiaries like be able to remove once it added and one more thing access to manage mandatories (debit orders)
I love tymebank. I once had an issue of international scams stealing small amounts of money daily on my account which accumulated to a lot. When I noticed and reported to the bank. The matter was attended to promptly and I was updated and supported throughout the process until most of my money was refunded. The process was so simple and uncomplicated.

a 50/50. Just annoying when they are mostly offline. Kiosks offline, weekends offline and can't deposit or whatever. Unable to make purchase because bank declined transaction being offline. finally added a virtual card to make "some" payment on Google pay. furthermore, it's simple to use and limited functionality than the other bank apps. Just expect it to be offline most of the time. not recommended if you want something more and can't wait for the bank to be online again.
Tymebank is the perfect bank for students, social grant receivers, and the unemployed, as there are no monthly bank charges. My only concern is that every time I try to link my account on Shein, it doesn't work, which then results in bank charges for the declining card.

tymebank is the best had issues with debit orders that wouldnt cancel and with 1 email from me they fixed it and returned the money that was taken for failed debit orders best bank in south africa

face recognition doesn't work after trying a million Times it's one of the worst banks in South Africa always had endless issue's with my ATM card no product support only a bank wanting to make money without ever helping customers typically south African
Really irritated esp since could only write this here. Bank had network problems and didn't let us know i find out when tried to make a payment on both main and business account. I eventually get to pick n pay to speak to a consultant. App didn't work consultant doesn't know when it could be resolved. Call center doesn't allow for the option to speak to a consultant. Whilst network issues can't always be planned for In banks, letting clients know so they avoid the embarrassment of declining card
I don't have any complaints with the app except this. I think it would be great if there was an option to remove payshap beneficiaries. I now have a long list of accounts some of which I've only had to pay once but cannot remove. I also struggle adding accounts sometimes.
Tymebank team, I love the app, but please allow me to sort GoalSaves by date created or name or custom order, etc. It's driving me mad that I can't order things visually that reflect my assigned priority!! And give me the option to toggle between list view or grid view, because I don't like the grid cards! I think it looks too inconsistent with the rest of the app.

Had a query open, called them emailed them etc all for them to close the query and say it's been resolved with no explanation. I still can't use my account and now can't access the funds to buy airtime to call to find out why I still can't use my account. My account is on hold but money has been taken out of my account
This app is terrible I hope no one uses it ever because it's slower than a snail and it keeps on crashing and slows down when it's supposed to send clearance message to my cell phone number in order to make a payment to other people, I receive the message after 10 minutes of waiting and I have to repeat the process again I hope they fix this proplem quickly because it's causing a problem.
For now, only problem is with MoreTyme. Please make the MoreTyme payment schedule a bit more smarter like PayJustNow. Let us pick a specific date for payment. Don't just make the payments be 30 days from the day of purchase. This creates may problems: 1. If I use MoreTyme mid-month, usually next month around that time I won't have money in my bank account. 2. Because the months have different number of days, sometimes 30 days falls just 1 day before I get paid. 3. Holidays and weekends
