UC Browser-Safe, Fast, Private

I've been using UC Browser for years and set it as a default app. I liked how the bookmarks are saved and incognito mode. I don't like every time after you update, so many ads and nonsense news show up, but somehow I managed it. That was tolerable, but now I hate it. Two biggest issues by now. I was using it to watch video, sometimes it can be so buffering. Then I tried exactly same video with Chrome, much faster. After that everytime I can't open a page with UC, I try with Chrome, open right away. The second thing happens to me is that everytime I'm trying to type on UC, the keyboard would always disappear when you just start to type 2,3 letters. It never happened with other browser. I'm thinking it's time to change my default settings.

Used this for years. After update, I can no longer zoom in to make text bigger and have the whole page rescale. That's WHY I was using it in the first place. VERY DISAPPOINTED and I'm not the only one complaining about this. What a stupid feature to remove! So I'll switch to something else so I can save my poor eyes! EDIT: The browser now supports the whole scale zoom and I'm very happy to begin using it again. THANK YOU development team!

From my experience using this browser on multiple devices I have to say that this browser is really not that good. The only reason I'm giving this browser three stars instead of two is because it's the only browser I know of that can download torrents, I didn't actually try downloading any torrents though. Anyways, it's pretty slow on most of my devices and even on the one device where it wasn't slow, it's still not the fastest browser I've used. The built in ad blocker didn't actually seem to block ads, even with the powerful ad blocker turned on. There are some sites that I tried that think this browser is outdated. Also, while I don't mind the built in video player, I noticed that, at least on some sites, it would cause an issue where if you tried to full screen the video too fast it would just show a black screen. Then I also had a device specific issue on my tablet (HP 7, running android 4.1.2), where almost every website gave me an error saying that the connection wasn't secure and it refused to let me use those sites. I didn't have this issue on any of the other three devices.

Bogus. This was an excellent app. Now it's slow, lags while YouTube streaming (on broadband WiFi for crying out loud) but the final insult is that I cannot turn off Facebook notifications which have been greyed out. So now my phone keeps getting multiple notifications for the same item. I do not have the inclination to spend time figuring out how to disable them, that is not something that should be set as a default. Deleting app, I'm done.

This app is great BUT it's slow when scrolling up/down. Very janky and laggy. I also want to get rid of the annoying links that are in the homescreen of the app that you can't remove/add like google and trip advisor. It needs to have a chrome browser extension on pc that WORKS so i can sync my bookmarks on mobile and pc. I would also like a search bar in my notification menu (dolphin browser has both). I really want to like this browser. So i will keep an eye out, check in every once in awhile for any improvements. I will change my review/rating until then. Update: I had no background processes when running the app & thank you for responding so i will give you three stars :')

I've been using UC since I had Android 2.3. What the browser has become over the last couple of years is a real shame. Update 2025: now that I can't add my own bookmarks to the home screen it really got worse than ever. Update 2026: I didn't think it could get worse, but now that you show me ads every time I open the browser it's finally time to move on. Whoever had this genius idea should be fired.

In the latest update of, when playing a video and fast-forwarding it by double-tapping the screen multiple times (more than four or five times), the video speed automatically changes to 2x speed. After that,it does not return to the normal speed. Additionally, in this update, the manual speed control option(such as 0.5x, 1.5x, and 2x) has disappeared. Sometimes,the video starts playing but does not fast-forward, and the video link has to be reopened to make it work again, new update is very bad

My goto browser app it is. I literally love the app; BUT currently I'm having a lot of problem with the built-in VPN. It doesn't appear at all. A lot of my work got suspended that was going on in it (with the help of VPN). I don't trust the 3rd party VPNs. How come I'll ever use it, I don't know anymore.

Unexpected Exiting. What's wrong with the new update. The app exists itself then displays restore after launching. After a minute does the same.

Hi once i used chrome to download and search now its been a year i using only UC browser very reliable good and i love it more then other apps and its quite fun in here i giving it 4 because well you removed hot chat we want it back in the app so please add the hot chat again then 5 stars again please its a request

Ever since I updated the app, it doesn't work anymore. I can start the app but after a few seconds in the app, it just shuts down. Only a few seconds. Barely enough time to even start using the app to browse. It shuts down before I can start browsing.

they remove play video on mobile data without asking for and uc browser stuck just because asking to play video on mobile data didnt show up even of i reload page or close uc browser and open again

I need an old version of this browser. Now they give more problems by giving built in vpn add in it. we don't need vpn. please remove it. New version working very slow and hangs. Fix it please.

app was working fine. than devs though let's add 2 million ads feature when some one tries to connect to VPN. hurrah! I uninstalled this mother fker app.

when i use this browser and want to use it in potrate style this app doesn't rotate. My mobile auto rotate function is working good but when use UC Browser and want to surfing in potrate style on mobile screen your manufactured app doesn't have the auto rotate screen option 😭 i remembered that since in 2023 this browser have this amazing feature and when we entered in 2024 the developers dropped this amazing feature 😞 and i don't know what wrong with the developers 😠 i request solve it......

best browser in the world...but there is issue on android 15, the browser freeze for while then return normal every 20 minutes and when in loading process the browser lag heavy and after loading return normal, hope you fix this for android 15, please. thank you for this amazing browser.

You can't even play a single video, Without turning their own VPN and I tried to use outside VPN, the issue still persists, which means they are doing it deliberately. I will never go premium when I can't even play a video because the annoying premium subscription pop out

where is sound on and off option in this new update i am not able to hear any sound. giving 2 stars for this new update otherwise its a good browser. there used to to be sound on and off button in video player of browser as you know some videos have sound off by default so you need to on that but in this new update that buttom is gone and i am unable to hear any sound

you need to put 720p in videos please and since it has auto quality in watching it should have 720p and auto quality in downloads too if these were added i will be happy to used for ever since i have been using it for more than 5 years than you for replying to my opinion I will be waiting for the update have a nice time
