2026 App has changed. The OTC and Healthy Foods benefit card related tools have changed. They've made things difficult to find, like the scanner tool, a page that shows your current balance. There is NO update available to change anything. Last year, it all worked just fine. But they screwed it up this year! If I could give negative stars, I would for sure.

This app takes you to their website for OTC shopping. That website is almost as slow as Home depot's website! Navigating it will take a while, it is unresponsive and many times you'll need to figure out how to get back to the list of items you were just looking at, since it also needs some updates and your mobile back button won't always be recognized and when it is, it makes you start all over. When after a stressful 30+ minutes you're finally at checkout, the website spasms!!

when you check out items with the OTC or over-the-counter, they reject the items. I've been rejected on food items too. I've requested a items catalog, they say we don't do them anymore, so I try to go on line, but my username and password gets rejected time and time again. This is frustrating. How can I get help "NOW" !!!!

The app is only good for checking my rewards balance. I got an email with an embedded link to see changes to my plan. But when I tried to log in, it didn’t recognize my ID or my passwords. (I use a password encryption app, so I didn't forget.) After three tries, it locked me out. I can only use my fingerprint ID to log into the app, but there is no access to notifications or documents from the app. I'm right back where I started --LOCKED OUT!!!

After downloading and updating, I get a message that says this app won't work for my particular plan. So I have to use browser on my phone where their website is tremendously slow and often unresponsive. I can click on something, wait 5 seconds or longer, click again.. sometimes nothing happens, sometimes it registers a double click and takes me where I don't want to go. Very frustrating.

I have spent over an hour picking items. it tells me under reward, so choose more products from the list you provide. now my card (maybe a new one?) isn't activated? WTH? I have picked and picked and picked. very time went to cart. problem every time. was even kicked out of app 2 times. I should have started with every time I try to log into your UHC site, I have to create a new password. that process took at least 10 minutes. I am so FRUSTRATED. I COULDNT ORDER ANYTHING. WASTE OF TIME!

I scan multiple items to find eligible ones, take them to the counter, and am then told that they are not eligible. I then have cashier scan 1 at a time, and find out that some of them are eligible. Turns out that if store finds even 1 ineligible item among others, it basically turns them all down. WHY IS THIS APP RECOGNIZING ITEMS AS ELIGIBLE WHEN THEY ARE NOT!!! Also, why isn't the scanner basically on the "front" of the app instead of multiple clicks to access?

App used to be good, but chat support hasn't worked in ages and the Rewards section disappeared from the app, so I can't update my trackers. Really irritating. Nov. 2025 - haven't been able to get the app to work in over two weeks. I log in, it starts to load the home screen, and bam... right back to the login...over and over and over.

This is the WORST! It's very slow, and oftentimes, it won't tell you something is out of stock until you try to checkout. I have been trying to sign in, and it will not send me my security code on the call or text. Now, my only option is to uninstall and then reinstall the app and start ALL OVER AGAIN! I wish I could give this app a negative MILLION STARS. IT JUST PLAIN SUCKS!!!

It used to be a pretty straightforward, convenient app, but for months now, entire sections just don't work. Every time I try to check the UCard Rewards Hub or search for a provider, it gives me an error message saying the service is "temporarily unavailable". I've tried updating, I even tried deleting and reinstalling.... still doesn't work. These are the only things I even need the app for, so since they don't work anymore, the app is basically useless for me.

The app itself is fairly easy to navigate. However, trying to use the app to find out if a food or product etc. is covered isunreliable. I scanned many items in the store just to get acquainted with what may or may not be covered. The only items I had in my cart app said were covered. Was not the case when I checked out. Close to half the $ amount spent was not covered and there isn't anything to say what wasn't. Embarrassing to say the least!!! Never expected to have to pay. 1st time using it.

The app sucks! Can't even get logged in! I keep an error message. I have uninstalled and reinstalled 3 different times, restarted my phone, updated, and called customer service 3times as well. So far nothing has helped. I'm actually on the phone on hold waiting for a tech support ticket number. I was told it will take 3-5 days before someone will contact me after they see what's going on (and hopefully fix it). I need to be able to log in so I can use the scanner! Grrrrrr! Very frustrated!

You can't even log in. I wish I hadn't been switched from BCBS....their app is smooth and easy. I called UHC, and we verified everything was correct. Then I was transferred to IT. Surprise, surprise, it's having technical difficulties, and I was told to try again later. I see that's been the case for months. Maybe UHC should spend some of our hard earned money on actually hiring someone who knows how to make an app or fix the website. Just a suggestion.

App was working fine until around the middle of June. Now none of my activities are being recorded, even though I have met the goals, some of them daily. So I have received no credit at all for anything since June 22. Also, the app loads very slowly. When I try to get into the details area of rewards, it says "something went wrong". If I try again, I can get in, but it doesn't matter as there are zero new results recorded. So nice to offer this 'benefit' that doesn't even function properly.

As an app, it technically works. And the links provide accurate locations on Google Maps and accurate phone numbers. But the selection of doctors are very limited and nearly impossible to get ahold of. One example: I've been trying to get ahold of the same doctor for 4 months, because he's the only qualified specialist in my network for 20 miles. So... Welcome to healthcare purgatory.

For what we pay for health insurance, you would think that they could spend a little time & put a few dollars into making this app not a complete hassle. It does not sync well with a Fitbit. Most weekends, it lags terribly. When the app does not sync, it is challenging to keep up with the 6 walks per day that have to be 300 steps within 5 minutes, an hour apart. Call me crazy but it feels like they don't want you to meet your 3 goals for $3 day = $1095 reimbursement per year. IT SUCKS.

It hasn't been working right since the last update. You can't look up your rewards, previous transactions and several other things. They all come up blank. When you scan things at the store to see if it qualifies, it may tell it does and then you get to the register and it won't pay for that product that you scanned and it says it will. Or over half of the stuff that you scan says it's not in the system yet, but you may have gotten it a few times before and it paid for it.

The once and only time I tried to use it after tech helped me install, when I called to replace lost card in June, found it difficult and problematic. Why does EVERYTHING!! need a password or make the password part of an individual acct #, couldn't access the products, when I did, they were out of stock. Just too difficult to get thru and find you still can't get products you need. At this stage, life should be easier, $40.00!!! it's just not worth it. keep mine.

Having the rewards on the U Card is a pain. I'd rather save my rewards until the end of the year and treat myself, it would be more efficient on a separate card. Also, my wife and I have tried to scan items to make sure they are covered on my card, and most of the time, the app freezes or kicks you out completely. We try to shop smart and sometimes buy store brand products. However, some store items are not covered but the more expensive is covered. It doesn't make sense.

The system is flawed. Scan an item, the item is shown as acceptable, arrive at the register and find it is NOT. It's embarrassing to have to tell the cashier to remove items, set them aside, etc., while shoppers in line behind me watch in frustration. This has been happening for years. UHC has not corrected the problem. If a upc is not in the system, just call it. I won't bother to purchase it with the card.
