Universal TV Remote Control

I needed a remote for the TVs at work, and this seemed to fit the bill. However, as I was setting it up, I was taken to a page that appeared as part of the setup process, for verification, requesting credit card information, along with the assurance that I wouldn't be charged for anything. Within minutes, two charges were attempted on my credit card, for unspecified subscriptions. Now, the app worked as it was supposed to, but I have to hold this app designer responsible for the phishing.

I wish it had a program guide like the Peel that I had to disable because it had ads popping up not just on the app, but over my other apps like videos, phone calls, etc. Way overstepping, other apps know their boundaries. But simple to use. When I emailed you it seemed that you tried to add more options or fix a problem. Still no intrusive ads on this one and I kept having to disable the Peel app, but it seems to have stopped reactivating itself finally.

OK so when it says there's A D pad There Is not because I've been looking all over and I could not Find it and it puts ads that cover the entire screen and messes it up when you're trying to use it and you wonder if it disconnected or not and then it's just a stupid ad that plastered on the screen and if you're gonna use the web browser on your TV it makes it much harder than the actual remote and you cannot verify with the captcha

Unlike the other apps tried, it easily found and connected to the TV, and worked.

you should download the app it can connect when you're in your bedroom kitchen and so many more you should download this app

This is an Amazing TV remote control app. It supports Singer Android TV.

by tapping my device it always send code to another device.. which is much annoying

Not sure how people manage to use this app. Every time you click anything there's an ad and some of the ads are so blended with the app that you don't realize you're clicking on them incidentally until it redirects you to another app. I couldn't even get through setup. I can't find my actual TV remote because we've used the cable providers remote for so long and all I need to do is change the input option on my TV. Smh. 20 minutes later and this app still isn't installed. Don't waste your time.

Does not work for Vizio smart TV even though there is an exact option at the TOP of the list. Ads every time you press back or try to do anything. Also, why do all these apps simulate a remote on screen? It's 2025, and we're imitating a TV remotes looks on a phone when it can be a custom ui that provides more function than a remote. Simple answer, China thinks we're stupid.

I have no idea yet. I turned on the TV, with the app for the 1st time, went to make a drink, and came back to a message asking to rate the app. No one wants to hear the results of what people thought in the 1st minute or 2, or like me, haven'teven used it. Please app developers of the world, stop spamming us to rate the app. Timing and foresight will be far more effective anyways. I'm banking in the app being very good though. Need it for a night until stores open for new batteries 😉

Just downloaded this out of boredom. It was super easy to set up and it makes me wonder why all remotes aren't designed like this. I love the interface and I actually use it more than the actual remote the TV came with. I love how it has all my TV apps in one location. I found some apps I had forgotten about. I can't find a negative thing to say. I wonder if there is a way to turn ads off, even if it means paying a small fee. I have a Sony Bravia TV

I wish i was told before I clicked that this app WAS NOT FREE and now after reading comments, I find you have to have a phone with an infrared something or other. This is a note 10plus 5g, Samsung's flagship phone for the time being, and doesn't have this obscure feature. Its probably too late to get a refund, but i hope this review will be able to stop as many as possible from getting this paid app that doesn't work at all!!! Don't click on this app! It's not free, and doesnt work!!

First app out of all that I've tried that actually worked on my LG Smart TV, and it worked flawlessly, instantly and without even using the IR on the phone (meaning any smart phone can use this function). However they don't have Vizio Smart TV control for my other TV or most of the brands yet and when I tried to use the IR I get no options/instructions on how to set it up. It doesn't seem to work

Worked decently well, had it for about 5 minutes but the ads were obnoxious. So I checked how much it was to remove ads, there were 2 separate prices one was like 5 bucks and some change just to remove bigger adds and one for either 15 or 9 to remove all the ads. I uninstalled after that, you didn't need to charge more then maybe 5 bucks to remove all ads.

There's an ad after downloading and starting up the app that claims they need your credit card info to activate the app. They specifically say the won't charge the card that it's used to verify location for regional agreements. Just seconds after I submitted my information, my card was charged 39.99 for some kind of cable services.

I have a vizio smartcast tv and this remote almost never works for it. I always make sure I am connected to the same WiFi but end up having to restart the app several times, and go through the ads a gain, just for it to work. If I need to pause my show it takes me at least 2-3 minutes every time and is super frustrating. 2 stars because I am not sure if this is the same with other TVs.

A lot of ads however it's the best TV app I've downloaded for my ROKU TV. On/Off functions work well as well as volume etc. Works like a pro. Only- when you close the app or use another app on your phone, then you have to start all over into finding your tv type etc before you can get back the remote... But great app! Saved me from buying a remote.
