Veezu UK Taxi l Request a Ride

The app is not working well, i am still experiencing issues of "error, please try again later" message for no reason. EDIT: it only works if i have my data on instead of wifi. Also, some drivers are terribly slow, what's the point of seeing them on the map when they're just in one place doing nothing for 5-10 minutes.

Scheduling a ride is unreliable. Leads you to believe you've done it but when it comes to the time it gives you the wheel of death "finding driver" with no indication of whats going on. I booked it an hour ago so that should be enough time for it to decide if there's a driver. 20 minutes later in the cold and I call. told it will be another 15 minutes so I cancel. then 5 minutes later I get a ping the taxi has arrived.

great when it works, but it rarely does! "Error. Something went wrong. Please try again later" is what you get most of the time when entering a destination to see what the wait is or try to book, and half the time when it lets you book it just takes your money and then pops up with a message saying something went wrong, cancels the booking and you have to wait several days before the payment is released back to you. hopeless

About a 50/50 chance of getting "Error Placing Booking" after verifying with my bank, and it takes the money out of my account. It comes back in like 2 weeks but not ideal for bills and rent being due. When it works, it's great, it's just unpredictable. Please make it so it says, "Error Placing Booking" before the bank verification at least.

Very impressed with the service from Veezu. So easy to book on the App and they turn up on time, even on a Fri night. The drivers are friendly, helpful and tolerant waiting for a partially-disabled person getting in and out of the car. So much better than the poor service we used to get from GoCars. Thank you. You are our No.1 preffered taxi service.

What's the point in being able to schedule pickup if your drivers cancel the job repeatedly and leave me 25 minutes late for my reservation? AWFUL! Not only that but a previous driver added £10 onto our journey citing it was because they'd sent too big a model for the 6 people it picked up. Not that we had any say in that. What a ripoff!!!!

This used to be a reliable service, but since rebranding as Veezu, the quality has dropped. More than half the journeys I attempt I'm left unable to complete. Frequently, a driver will pick up my journey and then cancel it, sometimes straight away, sometimes after leaving me waiting. If you leave an hour's lead time, you -might- get the taxi you need, but if you need to get to an appointment (perhaps to see a doctor about the condition that is preventing you from walking?) you're in trouble.

DON'T NOT USE if you're using it to pre book a taxi. I pre book the day before expecting the taxi to arrive around the time I booked it not for it to arrive 35mins later. Surly when pre booking a taxi it would be ready for that time not start searching for a taxi the time you pre book it for. Also if they offer you a voucher which they offered me a £5 voucher, they take the voucher off when you paid BUT they take another payment for the rest of the full price fare. STAY CLEAR!

I am having trouble with addresses in the app, sometimes the pin moves from the locations, had to cancel because app put pick-up address = my home address and destination = my home address. Then when I rebook it it works fine. This is a buggy app.

DON'T OPT TO PAY BY CARD!! ALWAYS takes more money from your bank account than you are quoted for journey. Does have some great drivers, responsible & keeping their mind solely on the job but others have Facebook videos going, chats with relatives/friends over loudspeaker- very rude and distracting to their journey. I've had drivers without change wanting bank details to send it at a later date (I'm not in the habit of giving £7.50 tip). Map shows your taxi & it's parked up until you text them

Be wary of this service in terms of price. I use veezu cars every day for work. the price they quote when you book is never the price you pay. Its always about 15% more. I think they are trying to give the perception they are cheaper than Uber. They aren't really though. Hence the 2 stars. App is intuitive. Business tactics are deceptive, service is dreaful. I tend to use Uber as you know what you are getting.

moatly works okay. however their is something very wrong . i keep getting bizzare payments taken from my bank for odd amounts such as £0.40 which makes me think their is some sort of breach of data and random payments beeing taken. not very trustworthy

I've come back to this app cos the taxi firm is actually good so I'm giving the app another chance. New problem is it won't even allow me to register my number. "Registration Failed" with no reason or solution. So I'm stuck, again. Reduced from 2 to 1 stars ☹️ (previous review: App doesn't recognise Sheffield Station as a destination! And can't search map for destination, only for departure address. Was no use to me at all ☹️)

The GPS locator when you place the booking always doesn't recognise the correct address, also when trying to modify to the right address don't keeping that , is jump back on the wrong GPS coordonate. A couple of time maid complains about that, but Veezu didn't do nothing. The Uber GPS locator far more better, maybe Veezu will invest more to improve the GPS locator in the future.

booked a taxi an hour in advance. taxi picked it up he was 1 minute away (for a 5 minute-£10 fare). cancelled. I missed my train. This shouldn't be allowed, if you accept the fare you shouldn't be allowed to cancel, because now how do I get to where I need to be?

Don't use this service. Veezu is run by a company of scammers, who are unscrupulous in nicking from you. This is the third time I will accept a ride for a particular amount and then at the end of the ride, the fare adds a whole pound or more for no reason. Veezu customer service lied and said the app estimates rides but fares are always different for the same particular trip.

pre-booking doesn't pre-allocate a taxi but instead seemingly just tries to allocate a driver at requested time. Which leads to "allocating driver" forever if its a busy time. - defeats the purpose of pre booking. Also ASAP spins and says no taxi available book <15 mins time>. Do they not get what as soon as possible means? try booking for 15 mins later and app errors. seems like the back end [pre] booking isn't very good. had to use uber instead.

I'm experiencing a lot of difficulties with this Taxi service. Before one books a Car the Map shows 10+ Cars around the area yet soon as one books it no Cars are available. The few drivers I've managed to get were super friendly but the Service itself is extremely of Poor Standards... Best to pay by Cash as when one Pays upfront on the App & the Car doesn't show up they still take the money even though the booking was Cancelled after 30+ Mins of waiting... Good Luck Booking with this one...

No drivers at all. I had about 7 drivers assigned to me for them all to just cancel it because they didn't want to do it? Absolutely useless, used alternative instead.

They are very good with their timings and very reliable and easy to book and genuine prices very good they give u a choice to pay the driver or online booking which is really good uber and bolt want your bank details but these dont which i find very .good and helpful
