I paid for the subscription and was told I will still be able to access even if subscription is not renewed. I opened the app and was not able to play any of the videos. The video quality was great sometimes, and other times, it was blurry and glitchy. It would even freeze up. I would rate higher but the expensive subscription and was lied to about accessing videos without the subscription.

The cameras are fine and the app works well enough, but Veo has ZERO customer support. I had some questions about renewing our subscription. It took a month for a reply, which was followed up by a billing error by them, and I have now been waiting another 6 weeks to get that resolved. They used to have excellent support, but they must have laid everyone off or something. BUYER BEWARE!

The camera is nice. The AI works well. To connect the camera to your phone you need to start the camera and let it sit for 5 minutes for it to boot up properly. Once it is finished booting then connect the phone to the camera. The problem I have is getting the camera to stream reliably. I have a wifi hotspot with good cell service and the camera rarely able to keep connection. It might need a more flexible stream speed. No score, no clock. Those must be added. It is why I bought the camera.

Veo2 owner. App is unreliable. I give myself 10 minutes before each game to fiddle with the app. I typically go through a process of uninstalling the app, clearing cache and data, resetting the Veo camera, combinations of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on/off and about 40% of the time the camera is broken and we miss the game. The product and subscription service is much too expensive to not work. Never be in a situation where you make a commitment where this device is required.

This app is terrible. You might lose your recordings if you don't save them at the end of the game. You can't delete a WiFi network entry, and if you mistype the password like I did, you're stuck. Typing the correct password afterwards doesn't fix it. Given how flimsy the coding is, I wouldn't trust it to keep my WiFi password safe. But I can't delete entries. About the device itself, upload speed is terribly slow - 250kB/s and each video is 9GB approx. At such a high cost, it's a real shame.

VEO 2 here, 2 stars because I like the app and it's offerings. But it SUCKS on connecting to the camera. I go through app deletions and reinstalls, force stops, you name it. Finally get it going. Mind you, it was perfect, just perfect prior to the latest update AND the arrival of VEO 3. We now almost always miss the beginning of games (fiddling with the app), where before, not a single time.

When Veo works it is a great piece of technology. The key point here is when it works. The Android app is terrible, terrible, terrible...... and like other users i have to spend ages trying to get it to connect to record games and have missed a number as I am the coach and I also need to use the time before a game to get the players ready. Veo is a very expensive subscription so they quickly need to improve this on Android.

After the update it won't work, find out that only the android version isn't working. So now, I have to haul out an iPad to games just to connect to the camera and record, which is a huge inconvenience for me. It's been almost 2 months now, every few weeks Veo support will tell me to try the app again, but surprise, issue remains unresolved.

terrible app and device. Why not use bluetooth to connect to camera and trigger a recording. you need to be on 5g to open the app so it can login. Then it switches to dedicated wifi if the camera to start recording. at that point if anything goes adrift, which it does you no longer have internet on the phone so it complains your not part of the account. The final kicker is uploads say they are complete but never make it to the library and once it says upload complete it's deleted from camera

Veo app does not work great on Android. Difficult to connect and as previous comment mentioned make sure to connect at least 10 min before game or you run the risk of not starting it on time. One of our club cameras the password entry puts each keystroke at the front as you type it in. We noticed that after showing the password as you enter. Support is almost non existent. However if you call the sales number you'll get fast response and lots of followup calls. Great solution when it works

I've had a Veo for several years and this review is solely about the app. For as long as they have been around, you'd think they would have figured out a functional app by now. WHEN I can get it to work, it's spotty at best. Half the time I have to use the web. When your trying to get a game started and you miss the first 4 minutes because the app keeps crashing, it's frustrating to say the least. And then I updated it and it's worse!

This app is a constant frustration. Using with a Veo2 subscription, it never connects with the camera at first, second or third attempt and on the last occassion I used it never connected at all, so I have missed the opportunity to record the game. A really disappointing user experience and not the elite experience that the elite cost should demand.

Veo app is basic. Recent April 2022 update is an improvement. Now shows battery % on the main screen. Also indicates a "disconnected" warning on the main screen if/when you're too far from the camera. Definitely nice because previously you had to guess (since the record timer was still ticking, and sometimes the live camera would freeze on my phone).

Oct 2024 Update - I stopped using this app for a couple years and I'm amazed to see the same old clunky, not-built-for-android silliness on return. I can't believe nothing has changed. On Android, you need to navigate around errors by going thru unintuitive process of turning off your mobile data in order to connect to their camera. Veo, as of 2024, androids are close to 70% of all phones. Get your priorities strait. Dropping score from 4 to 2.

Have a quick sync with the camera But it would be great if you can pause the recording between the 2 halves of the game like that you'll save the time of the halftime recording and get a whole video of the halves also would be fantastic to get a highlighter tool to use on the players (different color for each player)

This app is terrible on Android. On the Veo1, I gave up and just used the web interface instead. Now with the Veo2, I have to use the app. It is a disaster. It rarely connects, and even rarer to actually successfully start a live stream. The upload status for a video sits at 0%, even though the exact same time, the app on an iPhone shows it making progress. Please put some effort into making this app actually work now that we have to use it with the Veo2. **March, 2023 - Getting better.

Hi, I recorded a video from the app and went home to upload it. The 180 degree video was uploaded fine, however the video with the AI following the ball took over 2 days and still does not show in my account. I recorded several videos using the website and worked fine, this is the first time i record using the app and didn't work! FYI, i'm using android device, and the app version is 1.2.2, my camera serial number is 14:AE:85:91:27:D1 Thank you

you latest update now will not allow me to connect with any phone i have. it was working, and now it wont connect. it will not connect with my camera on the following phones in my home: S10+/S20FE/OnePlus 8/OnePlus 8 Pro. however it did connect with an old phone and it's what I have to use...an S8. This is not acceptable for a camera and a service that costs what it does.,

If you have issues connecting camera to app try these exact steps when you get to your game. 1. Turn on the Veo camera 2. Set up your tripod 3. Attach the Veo camera 4. Turn off mobile data on your phone 5. Turn on Bluetooth and Wifi 6. Open Veo app 7. Connect to your camera 8. Raise the tripod to the needed height 9. Press start recording The app is not perfect, but I record 4-5 games a weekend and those steps almost always gets me connected. Takes me less than 10 mins to setup the camera.
