The watch was great for a couple months or so, I could use it to track my exercise just fine without needing to open the app. Then, time change hit, and all of a sudden the watch's time was way off. It even fell a couple minutes behind, just on its own. I tried to use the app, but no matter what I did, it wouldn't connect to the device. It is now essentially useless for anything but tracking steps.
Takes forever to sync with my watch. Sometimes it gives up. Lately I've noticed the app has been pushing a weather app, but it is putting a Celsius temp on my home page, apparently without an option to change it to Fahrenheit unless I download the weather app. Since I can't find the Very Fit Weather app on the Google Play Store, I'm not going to install it. So for pushing sketchy marketing on me, you only get 2 stars.
I got a basic watch from Amazon, and it told me to download the Very Fit app to use the features. It worked well for over a week, but I did not like the watch. I was unable to change the profile so my daughter could use it. So, I deleted the app. I went to re-download it, and it could not be found. I downloaded this app, but when I select my device for pairing, it finds the device, but when I select it, nothing happens, and it says it cannot be found. Very frustrating.
You have to upload your data each day (I don't), the sleep thing is way off, syncing is terrible and the time on the watch goes too fast if you don't sync every once and awhile, it's very frustrating. Nothing is wrong with the watch but the way you HAVE to get the app is very disappointing. I've had my watch for months and it's main purposes are alarms and step counting. My messaging and calls don't connect which sucks.
The reason I purchased the device that this app supports was to track my sleeping. It does not work! No matter what time I go to bed or wake up, the app is not correct. Contacted the company, but they were not helpful. I still use it as a watch and to track my exercise, though. That part of the app works just fine. It seems that the company has sleep patterns programmed in and just cycle through instead of actually tracking my sleep patterns.
For the price I paid for I don't have much complaints(love amazon). It does what I want it to and has a great battery life on my watch. I'm not sure how waterproof the watch is, because I always take it off when showering. My only complaint is it will disconnect from my watch alot so I won't know if I'm getting calls or texts. I believe you have to keep wifi/data on and bluetooth possibly. I do LOVE it for reminders and alarms! Also the data it shows for activity, sleep, and heart rate.
It's ok. Would be nice if I could set a certain distance for running to keep me from having to check the watch. Also, there are some connection issues. My data doesn't always save. I run every day and that important information for me. Otherwise, I love it. Also, it would be really cool if it had a calorie tracker that added up all your burnt calories from steps and cardio and saved the data to the app.
So far, it's okay. I really wish I could set the targets. I also wish there was a way to tell the App what time you go to sleep and wake up so it could adjust and track the sleep cycles etc. Currntly mine doesn't want to track sleep. Even if it doesn't catch it it should be something you could enter in afterwards. Seems like an oversight, Developers! Get on it. :)
The app feels primitive. If your sleep is interrupted for a long period of time, or if you have to take a long nap, it only shows the one period of sleep, overwriting previous image. You will not get total sleep data, as it cannot register short naps. Measures light sleep and deep sleep only. The graphs/charts have no uniform time labels. To get exact times, you need to export data and do the math yourself. At least that's possible. Future updates should allow for more than 1 sleep period a day.
The app seems to have most of the features I was looking for but I still have to use a different app to track calories, water, & caffeine intake. It's pretty frustrating that it won't sync with the other app & I can't record the data in this app. I'd be raving about it with a five star review if it could have these options added.
I'm having difficulty getting it to charge. Had it about 2 weeks, and charging is always iffy. But today, it doesn't seem to matter which way I put it in usb...whether it be in my computer or several different usb chargers, no red light, no charging. I'm going to have to return for refund if it won't power up. Doesn't track sleep accurately. Seemed to monitor heart and steps ok, although I think the treadmill confused it.
Update 11/7/18: never worked accurately for tracking sleep for shift workers but at least one could keep track of activities and calories. Since the most recent update won't connect with my phone and even pulling up old data the numbers are cut in half so are unreadable. Makes the device garbage. It works great as a pedometer and for tracking certain activities but as a sleep tracker it leaves a lot to he desired. I work in healthcare, which means my shifts are all over the map and include some 24-hour days. The tracker stops at around 0930 every day, regardless. And when I go to bed at 0600 in the morning it doesn't track at all. No way to customize it or to tell it when to start and stop.
Awful app. Considering returning my fitness tracker because of this app. It only synced sleep data for two nights, then not at all. It takes 20+ minutes to sync in general, so to have the information not show up is irritating. I have heart rate set to automatically track, but it never has. Even when I check it manually, the app doesn't record it. I would recommend not bothering with buying a tracker that has to use this app. Check pawn shops for cheaper fitness watches. Literally ANYTHING else will be better than this app.
The app will link with my letscom tracker but the app doesn't work on my Android, so it's useless! It was advertised that it works with Android. I went online to get support from the company and they have a message on the contact page stating that the app is having trouble working with some android devices and to bear with them while they try to fix it. There is no date or timeline given. I don't know how long the message has been posted...days...months? I guess I need to return my tracker and try to get my money back. Would've been nice to know of the problems ahead of time.
It was working well at first, but after came back home from another country / time zone, any time I open the app it crashes within a few seconds. It seems like other users had a similar experience so maybe this was due to a recent update. I emailed the developer a month ago and got no response. Not exactly the best customer service! Two updates have been released since then but brought no improvement. App not working again after 5/27/19 update. Keeps disconnecting from bracelet. TEST UPDATES
You need to have a way to add in exercise if we forget to start the app. Also, i have a stationary bike by Schwinn (Airdyne where the arms move with handles). I have tried cycling and dynamic biking and it definitely isn't accounting for what it should! It doesn't even record the exercise and I am literally sweating all over with my workout! Any suggestions, because if I could have manually added this in, I would have. I am not getting an accurate reading because of this.
Love the alarms you can set, but why did you take the battery percentage icon away from the watch? I like that the battery last for days and I liked being able to see it on the watch face, now I have to remember to check it every couple days so it doesn't die on me, again, in the middle of a busy day. Sleep tracker is always way off, usually says I sleep from 11pm - 9am & I don't sleep 10 hours a night!
Overall, pretty accurate at tracking activities. I wish you could look at more details in the graphs (or that they wouldn't be so touchy). I docked stars because of how it logs weight in Google Fit. It gives daily (or more frequent) reports of the default weight: 110.2 lb. I can't deny JUST the access to this one category. (And I don't want to track my actual weight that often to overwrite each auto log.) Why does this device even need weight? This app doesn't make any calculations with it.
Doesnt actually track day to day. only up to the minute on that day. Been wearing it for 2 days and it registered 0 steps on the weekly graph. Met my (admittedly low) goal of 5000 steps 2 days in a row and the app tells me I took no steps this week. Also says I didnt sleep at all. Cheap app for a cheap product. Steer clear! And forget about the "inactivity alert". I wanted it to remind me to get up and move as I have a desk job. It hasn't worked once. Junk.
This app was working fine, when all of a sudden, all my info just disappeared. No longer syncs from my watch. Like I just got it for the first time. I guess you get what you paid for. 3/29/25 - after starting all over again, a month later...same problem. Was somehow logged out and can't log back in. Watch won't sync with the app. Just says "sync failed". Don't know why I still kept this but I'm ready to toss it.
