Video Downloader for Instagram

While this app does what it is supposed to do quite well, it harasses you at every turn. Either pop-up ads, timed ads you can't skip, or constant begging to rate the app every time you switch screens (even when you tell it you don't want to). If there was an option to buy an ad free version, I would. There doesn't appear to be, though. As is, I'm looking for an alternative.

Its a great app! I don't need to screenshot or screen record things now, I can literally just copy the link and boom, its in my gallery! My ONLY issue is that we can't save images/videos from private accounts. I know they're PRIVATE and all, but still. If you try, it just downloads the profile picture of the account. Overall, great app! I could only find 1 little flaw.

Works... But far too many ads! Ad when starting, ad when saving, ad when sharing, ad when doing just about any function. I'm not interested in naked girls in my area, I'm interested in saving Instagram pics. If it wasn't for having to wait, just about every maneuver, for an ad to finish, it might be a good app. Can't even exit some ads, you have to wait.

Used to like it now it doesn't work. When it should save instead is doesn't then will process one image at a time after you exit app. Bring it back to the way it used to work when copy actually save the image or video. Why did you ever change it at all, foolish. This app gets worse and worse sometimes I have to shut my phone down just to get out of an ad that hijacked my phone. Only downloads one image at a time, so I'll likely delete this as soon as I find a alternative.

it was so much easier to use before the last update 😭 the entire app completely changed. i used to just be able to hit "copy link" in the instagram app and fastsave would start downloading without me even needing to leave the instagram app. it was much more convenient that way. i appreciate that now you can select which photos/videos within a single post that you want saved, but i much prefer being able to download them all in the background & everything else that was in the old fastsave app :(

Works pretty well. tends to freeze and stall when trying to download multiple files but not much of a problem. Edit: So, after the most recent update, there is no longer an option to save the pictures and videos to your device? I noticed other comments saying the same thing but is there a new way to do it or is the option no longer available? I´m able to download the videos and pictures easier, but the removal of the save feature makes me give the app a 3.

You guys turned a great app that I used all the time into another app waiting to be reinstalled. You can't call the app fast save if it takes more time in the app to download a video than it does on a website. Before the updat it was great, you copy The Instagram post link, open the app and it automatically downloads. Now I have to paste each link individually every time I want to download something. If I wanted to do that I would just use one of the thousands of websites available

Just like so many others have stated, the latest updates render this app pretty much useless. Most of the time when I try to download an image it just sits in the download queue saying it's trying to get the file info. I finally gave up and uninstalled it. Then I went to APKpure and installed the older version of Fastsave, from Dec 2020, before they completely changed the interface. Now I have the older version which works flawlessly. Hope this can help others get the old version back!

FAR too many adverts. Revision - the adverts used to be annoying, now they are intolerable. It used to be that you waited for the adverts to finish then you could use Fast Save. Now, for a great deal of the time, the app doesn't start after the advert, nor can you delete the advert. The only way to get the Fast Save app to start is to install the advertised app first. Totally unacceptable.

It now has to operate like a browser (?) In order to download anything. Usually you just share to fast save and a dialog would pop up showing the download. Now sharing to fastsave switches to the app and opens the post as a webpage. From there you have to click the download button. It's a lot less versatile. I'm not sure why they decided to do that instead.

WAY TOO MANY ADS! (After almost every single save. Once every 5 or 1o 10 minutes would be better.) So many of the same ads actually makes me hate their products, not want to try it. Also, Some profiles are better than others, not sure why. Sometimes it captures only the profile pic and not the pic the link is for. The last update helped reliability with android 10, but they screwed it with too many ads.

I liked this app before the latest updates. Currently, the only feature I like is the possibility to choose the pics you want to download, when it comes to multi-picture posts. Personally, I think the biggest problems are: 1. sometimes the app asks me to log in to Instagram; 2. sometimes the "Fast download" button disappears, I don't know if it's just a bug or there's actually a daily limit for the downloads (...?) Also the ads are a problem but I get it, you need to earn somehow.

There are some drawbacks in the latest version: 1. I have used it in Instagram and realised that the response is very slow. 2. No scrolling is supported while browsing a page in Instagram. 3. For downloading all the posts in an Instagram account, you need to do it one by one which is very time consuming. 4. Full of advertisements. The only positive feature comparing to the previous version is that you have the option to choose which picture or video to download in an Instagram multi post.

This app has potential, but it needs help. The ads are way too annoying, ＆ the reason why 3 stars are lost. Reduce the ads, or limit them to a small banner, as it is, a full screen ad pops up, ＆ screams, which sucks, especially when listening to music on headphones. 1 star less because it needs the ability to set options, such as where to save, especially when memory is short, ＆ we need to save to a sd card. If it was fixed, then i would be happy to pay a couple ＄for an ad free version.

Does what it says. I converted it to a system app to ensure it's background run isn't disrupted, that didn't help it much. Background service seems to have a mind of its own - off and on. However, app will try to download what was copied when background service is restored, but doesn't catch all. Overall - recommened. Edit: one must login to Instagram now before download can be possible? It seems to have stopped working.

EDIT: unfortunately no longer works on Android 10. Not updated since long ago. I like this one best among all Insta downloaderd I tried. It's nice that the service can be stopped. The ads are too obtrusive, I would immediately give 5* if there was an option to remove ads for a few bucks. Like it is now, I call it a demo version of a good app.

App was working fine initially. With the recent update, if I click on info button for a photo. It doesn't take you to where the photo was downloaded from. Also too many ads. It wasn't like this before. Everytime I click a photo ad comes in. Frustrating. So I am changing my initial review. Made me search for alternatives now.

After Android 10 update: it is now buggy. Will only work if turned off and on again. Widget is not working. I like it so much. My only problem is that sometimes the widget is not working. I need to remove it and get a new widget from the widget tray. Then after a few moments or days, it is not working again. So sometimes i need to use the app itself. But i still, i want to use the widget for faster turning on of the service. Please reply.

I like the app but it keeps not downloading pictures. I download a series of pictures from Instagram and several of them are often missing. I have to go back and hope that I can find those pictures again on Instagram and download them again. It's really frustrating. Please fix this. Update: the downloading of pictures is so unreliable that I've had to uninstall and use another app.

At the beginning when I downloaded the app, my downloads saved in my gallery immediately and so easy. Now nothing I choose saves in my gallery, not even under the app in saved video or pics. I even uninstalled the app and downloaded it again but still the same. When I copy and share it send a link via social media but nothing saves so I am disappointed with regards to that, not sure what changed!
