Video Downloader - Save Videos

Okay, time for a re-edit of my review. I'm going to boost it up to three stars three and a half if I could give it. After my complaint about the advertising I have to say though, this is one of the two most solid apps I use for downloading. It rarely goofs up., for me anyways. I just hate ads that don't let you advance through them or keep you trapped in Play store. Which is mind-boggling cuz Google should have a part of that. Oh well anyways this is A GOOD APP. I will continue to use it.

Works, but that's all. The amount of ads are ridiculous. I understand it's your revenue, but maybe a premium version. There's also an issue with pressing to the "Play" icon so the video can start and download. You have to hope the video automatically starts so it can download. Lastly, the quality is ridiculous. The video looks like it was reduced to 360.

Edit: After this initial review, the ads became more intrusive. There is an ad with every click of a new screen. I will be looking for a new application to download videos. -------- Works great at detecting and downloading videos that other video downloaders can't find. Didn't give 5 stars because there are too many ads. I wish there was a paid version to eliminate ads, because this app is worth paying a small fee for an ad free experience.

I haven't used the app yet. I needed help understanding how I was supposed to find the movies to download without having to rent them first... I reached out to their contact email, not expecting much. I've never been responded to when asking for help from other apps. Surprisingly, they had gotten back within 24 hours, encouraging me to let them know if i had any further needs. I will post again when I actually use the app, but i had to say something about the considerate support.

As with most such apps, it's hit-or-miss depending on the website as to whether it'll work or not. Biggest problem is storage: this app sends videos to a COMPLETELY INACCESSIBLE LOCATION on the phone, rendering it useless for anything other than playback IF the app worked on the site where it was used. Easy fix: downloads should go to the DOWNLOADS folder, where they can be accessed by the user, period.

Update 2024: The icon now shows that this is supposed to be the "2024" version, so I downloaded it to see if the dev team fixed bugs like they promised. They in fact did not, and it seems like they did exactly nothing in the past two years. "Block ads" option still doesn't block ads whatsoever, and now you can't even change the download location anymore (grayed out option, not clickable), which means you can't even choose between device and SD card storage. These are not real developers.

Simply way too may advertisements! Ridiculously and Unnecessary amount of ads. Why? Often an ad will finish just to start another damn advertisement. Each section in the app has the potential to trigger another ad to start playing. Also, you can't access the video to share unless you get back into this app. It does not store it on you phone in an easily accessible file like, let's say, "Videos" Just too many ads prevent this from being your go-to downloader. I use it for last attempts, only.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD!! I have no problem dealing with ads for free software BUT COME ON!! You have to shut down the app to get away from the Credit Karma Ads. Even that doesn't work most of the time. I've never experienced an app this bad. I'm sending an email to Credit Karma telling them why I'm deleting my account with them...because of this app. UNBELIEVABLE!! If I could give it a lower rating I would.

Free version has an INSANE amount of commercials. More than ANY other app I've used. Makes it annoying and virtually useless. The number of commercials instead of making you consider going premium makes you want to find another, ANY other app to use but this one. It literally drives you away from this app. As a startup the developers need ads yes, but the sheer number is ridiculous. On the plus, they shouldn't need much more financial backing if the number of ads is providing equivalent capital

I don't usually use apps to download from the web because I have my methods of doing so. However, some sites make it difficult to do so. Tried this one out and have to admit that it does work and quite well. Even tried it on a pay site, on which I I assumed would be able to detect that I'm downloading files at really high speeds instead of streaming small segments, but oh well. My only complaints are the ads (app blocks ads to insert their own) and difficulty in extracting video from app.

One star because it worked. So many Ads and you can't get away from them or close them, trying to close them just opens another ad. Some ads freeze and you have to close the ap and start over. Downloaded movies are only available in the app, which means more ads just to TRY watching the video. Frustrating to use. Way too much lost time dealing with ads. Uninstalled before having a nervous breakdown.

Okay. I consider myself a pretty patient guy, but y'all have to do something about toning down the ads. I mean, Mother of Hades, every time I click on ANYTHING, I have to sit through at least 3 ads. Other than that, I've had absolutely no problem with the app. I'm giving this a 3 star rating for the sheer fact that there's way too many ads. If y'all can rectify that, I'll update my rating.

Never even got to download one video! I was bombarded with ads with every option I tried to click. Note to devs: I actually pay for almost all of my apps. I have no problems paying for a good app! Chill out with the annoying ads! Give me an option to disable ads and I will pay to not be annoyed and actually be able to use your app. I uninstalled immediately without ever download one video.

Horrible app. This is a clone of the all downloader app that doesn't save the files to your phone's memory. I have no idea where the data is stored, but you can't access it after download with this app. Horrible experience as I've been trying to download a very difficult to get video and finally when an app downloads it, I STILL can't access it without this app. Don't waste your time, this app is garbage.

The app is very easy to use. Click on the app, then browze the internet until you find a video you like. Click on the app button (A big yellow circle with a black arrow) which is displayed next to the video and it will download it. Sometimes the download gets stuck but I click the button again and it keeps working. Ads will appear comcurrently but they are tolerable. 5/5 ⭐ Would reccomend.

WAY WAY WAY too many ads and what makes it worst is alot of the ads are unskipable and those ads can take 30 seconds to 2 minutes. Rewind a clip? Ad. Fast forward a clip? Ad. Want to watch a different clip? Ad. Pause a clip? Ad. I understand ads & commercials=Revenue but this is ridiculous. 1/5 stars+UNINSTALLED.

This is excellent. Downloads do not just freeze or move slowly. Can transfer vids to gallery. No download failures so far.[Update/Bug report: he's what's up. I just wanted to say the download button takes 4 every to use because it says parsing url all the and i can't download any vids]

Was living your app and WAS perfectly fine with the odd ad, maybe one every couple downloads. Since the last update I've slogged through ads on the app. Nearly every click brings an ad. It's ridiculous. I went to search to see if I could pay to remove ads, but was met with so many ads, just navigating the app, not even downloading, I got frustrated quickly. I highly recommend switching to 'All Video Dowloader', which has a respectable amount of ads, or 'Get Them All'. Anything is better!

Best downloader app I've installed so far. Even though it has quite a bit of ads, its honestly really worth it for the performance of this app and really great at doing its intended purposes. However, I have been dealing with some issues with this app. I put some videos that I downloaded in the lock folder and I set the password. It's not letting me through into the folder. It's almost like it's not processing the password. I'm sure I'm typing the right password. Can I get some help please?

So hard to use yet it force play unskippable ads in every touch in the screen. I get it that the devs need a profit but to do it like this... is just diabolical. I played 5 unskippable 1mins ads in a row 6 touch in total and i yet to download anything. EDIT: I have to delete it for like 30 mins after downloading cuz it was useless(for me). Hope you devs have a a nice day with this. Oh and also try using your own app so you can understand what I mean.
