Video Downloader: Story Video

Works for a while then stops. First it works great, then you start having to watch 30 second videos every time. Then it just stops entirely and makes you buy the premium subscription (no one time purchase option) or it just won't do anything at all. Update: They had a discount on the Pro version, so I decided to take a chance. Even with the Pro version, after a while (a few weeks?) it again starts asking me to log into Instagram, literally right after a screen saying no login necessary.

The free version lets u download from public account only, which is fine. u just have to watch an AD or 2. I've tried a lot of downloading apps, and eventually, they want ur 1st born!.., For the most part, this one is holding strong. I don't use it often enough to pay a monthly fee, so hopefully, they will keep a free version.

This app was great but lately it's been very annoying to use... takes ages loading posts IF it does load as I keep having more and more prompts regarding not being able to download from private accounts when posts are from public accounts... Also, when the posts do load, I've had so many times when it loads the same picture/video on all available entries (eg: a post with 4 pictures, all 4 of them are the SAME picture!), and sometimes the entry is just grey and the picture/video is a broken file.

Insanely long adverts you must watch before downloading of a video clip will start. It used to be short advert flash and you could click a cross to close it. During 2025 this changed! Mostly ads of games. If you touch anything on the screen while the ad is running Google Play Store opens, so you can download the game. If you're not willing to get the paid version, this app is no longer worth it.

Overall the app is great. However, more and more public posts I am being force to log into my Instagram account. I am not signing into my Instagram account as Meta has been suspending accounts logged in into these download accounts. I don't get what is different from a post from a public account can be downloaded but another post from the same public account I am being force to log in! Hence why I rated it as I have.

It's a great app, but I'd like it if I could have all the posts I share to the app be saved to the app for redownload whenever I want. I've got shares on there of which the original posts no longer exist. Being unable to have them consistently on hand is a real annoyance. This includes still images, short and long form reels or clips.

A must have APP, big up to the developers, i have tried similar Apps but failed many times,This is the BEST APP, Wow am impressed dont waste time just download you won't regret it. 🤩👍. The UI is simple and user friendly. ✨😊

This app is so easy to use. You don’t need to do anything other than to just copy the IG link, and the app will automatically download the video for you. Kudos to the devs and the entire product team.

this app is so far the best I have come across in terms of downloading clear videos and pictures for Instagram.... but it would be nice if this app can assess Facebook too.... but overall the app is amazingly dope I give a 5 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best of the best.... very easy to use, just copy a video link from Instagram and then just open this app and it will automatically start downloading the video TOTALLY SATISFIED 💯⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is an awesome app.It worked great force while. But now it is almost un-usable. It has the worst advertising. it will direct you to Ali express website / gaming websites after each download and there is no way to go back. after getting extremely frustrated I will un- install it....

very very very good app I'm using this from 2 years and above...it download reels from instagram by only copying the link from reel...

App works badly ... I hope it will not stay like this with lots ads . and nowadays its getting so much ads are irritating a lots . dissatisfied with this

forced to watched 3 ads in a row and still unable to download it...i then went to google and easily downloaded the video i want from a website...useless App

it is good app it reels and other dowload very easy and video and audio quality is so good and best but some ads are disturbing to me

Unfortunately, lately it has been asking me to sign in too often for public post will be effectively ending my long time subscription!

Yo guys, it's really really good. But, I think they should reduce the ads. There's no ads only in the Premium account, not in the normal account. Copy that, It's really really useful.
