VIMAGE 3D Live Photo Animation

incredibly frustrating and stressful. wasted an hour and a half of my time. possible to export as it says creating your masterpiece and then crashes, when you do have the save button come up, it goes right back to creating something new. then it says we can't load your photo repeatedly in a dialog box. I'm very technically savvy and I've attempted troubleshooting. it uses too many resources, it hangs and crashes... not good.

I'm so disappointed. Although I wasn't able to save my creations I had a great experience using Vimage as a free app. But as soon as I purchased it, and I mean moments after I clicked the purchase button, the effects no longer downloaded for use. Many of them aren't even visible in the circles. What this means in the overall picture (no pun intended) is that I cannot save even the simplest work unless I do a screen shot. This needs to be alleviated!!

Crapware, bait and switch. Don't do it! When you finally make the photo, you think "this is awesome! The all makes it seem like as long as you don't add " pro" level changes, you can export in high quality. Nope! You get pushed to purchase a monthly subscription, then you go ahead and skip that and export. But that is the bad surprise. It exports a super, super low resolution image that looks like it was taken with the very first digital camera. In other words, this app is a bait and switch.

Just added the app, and only did one test pic (placing a windblown tree in my yard, where there certainly wasn't one before), and it almost looks convincing (If I were more proficient with the tools, it might actually PASS for "real". With that said, I wasn't a fan of being hit with the pay-to-play $ numbers before I'm even shown the first screen, but seeing what it can do, the price is more than fair. Cool app, and I hope to update this, when I get a little deeper into the whole thing.

This app is pretty freaking cool! I have never really used an app like this! I like how it's like a photo and it's moving, you know like you can add moving objects but it's not a video! I wouldn't really call it a GIF either! If you are a creative or artistic person or love to edit photos, I would highly recommend this app! I guess you ain't even 'negative' thing I can say, so far, is that the only way to get to watermark office to pay. The watermark it's pretty big in the lower middle...

Paid for a month. Why can't I use pro features? What a rip off. Plus the app icon doesn't show that I have it in my device. Later: Okay after I deleted & re-downloaded, it performs better. I will increse stars! It would be awesome to have control of photo layers to add sky behind main image as well as ability to add custom font. More music options would be great as well.

VERY hard to use. Your pic-in-pic feature for editing dances around when you need it to stay in place. The animated light feature is nice. I couldn't figure out the overlay correction tool. Seems like it could be more interpretive like auto erase or fill. I did also like the fact that you had a "forever" price tag instead of yearly/monthly payments only.

There are some small things that could be better but by my 2nd attempt I was creating really great 30 second videos from my photography stills in HD. Some effects were layers already in the app and some were areas of my photo put in motion. I am a Constant Improvement Technician so I believe there is always room for improvement but very happy with my results that I was able to achieve so quickly. (I'm also very impatient and never read directions).

This app continues to crash every single time I try to add any effects. Even with just trying to add only one, instead of it saving my work, the app crashes and restarts by itself. I've cleared the data in the app and uninstalled and reinstalled it several times. I even restarted my phone multiple times but it keeps doing this no matter what image I'm using. This is incredibly frustrating because I'm paying for a monthly subscription and the app is no longer allowing me to save my work. FIX IT!

Vimage gets 5 Stars from me!! ❤️ This photo editing, I mean photo enhancing app is so cool, very unique and fun. Adding a moving element to a still photo is mesmerizing. I have been playing with this app for over a year and it continues to grow with more options and I have enjoyed watching that. I hope it continues to stay simple and polished because most editing apps are too busy and confusing. 🤗

Update: As of recently, I've been having problems downloading my work after I'm finished. It gets to the downloading screen and starts to download and then it goes black and I don't get a chance to save my work. And also when I choose which picture to edit from my gallery it just goes back to the homepage. Why am I paying for something that doesn't work properly? U would think after paying for an app u would be able to use it without a problem. I'm thinking about unsubscribing.

From the moment I saw the interface, I knew this was a unique app. With vimage you can create high quality .gifs and MP4 versions of your photographs. Originally, it was only possible to use one overlay. Now you can add up to 3 overlays for a multi-layered image that often surpasses what you expected The idea of transforming a still photo into a moving image on my PHONE shows me how far Android technology has come. But mostly I love the fun of experimenting in vimage. You will too.

I always loved the effects. ( You could change the color & positions of all the moving effects. Although, some show up better than others, they all range from cute to gorgeous.) Now however, they have stepped up the pixel motion & made it easier to use. The motions come out sooo much better now. Good Job folks!

Just tell me where my saved photos go; I save my work and the app reports "Saving your artpiece". But then the finished image doesn't seem to be anywhere where I can find it. I took out a quarter-year subscription to give this a thorough test run, and I really want this to work.

The app isn't bad, maybe a few effects look worse than others (the coin and the butterflies look suuuper fake)... My issue is with the prompt to upgrade. I get it, you need money, but the free app should at least be usable, otherwise why bother having a free version at all? I don't know if it's a bug or something, but when I open the app the prompt to purchase appears. I dismiss it... And literally 3 seconds later it reappears. And so on forever. Every 3-5 seconds there's a prompt. That can't be normal

The colours completely change when you export the animation. Because of this, I tried emailing support to cancel my account before the 7 day trial expiry but several days later, still no reply. The app crashes as soon as I click on the upgrade panel, and then it fully disappears after that making the panel fully untraceable. Not sure if it's intentional to make more sales or a bug. I hope they refund me if they don't cancel my account before the expiry date. Would really appreciate a reply!

The effects are really cool, but the app only gets 1 star from me as I was simply unable to save the edited photos to my gallery without paying a subscription. It gives you the option to watch an ad instead, but that didn't work for me, as I still was unable to save the photo after watching the ad. It should not be labeled as a free app. Too bad!

I downloaded this app with high hopes & expectations, but they were dashed almost immediately; As soon as I opened it, it opened a tutorial, which was OK, but then you're FORCED to save it. The clip was only 5 seconds, but the saved item was 15.5Mb!! I reopened the app,but it did not let me choose my own pic. It then went to adds/Subscription pages. I kept trying to close the app, but it caused it to completely "freeze" and then crash! Needless to say I've uninstalled this add-filled app!

There should be a 3 day trial at least before directly making the users subscribe and taking their money away. Now when I cancelled the subscription, there's no option of refunding it. The moment my bank sent a message saying that money has been debited, I tried cancelling the subscription. But sadly, I have to use it for the given time frame when there's barely anything interesting to use in this app. There are much better apps out there. Total waste of money and time!!!

Have just downloaded & paid for 1 month to see how it goes! 1 thing i noticed straight away that the app lacks & really needs (unless i'm missing something?) Is that when you go to animate, the brush has only 1 size, as in it is way to big an area, you need to be able to change the size for really small areas you want to animate, (the eraser didn't seem to erase anything? & also needs to have size options) the lack of this spoils it for me 😞 but the rest is pretty neat 👍
