For a fifteen dollar rental there are sure some quality control issues that need to taken care of. First, it doesn't play on my phone. That's fine, I just rented one series and can watch it on the tv, but I certainly wouldn't have a subscription with that monster of an issue. Playing videos is like...your main thing. Maybe it's my ad blocker, but again, for fifteen bucks there better not be any ads. It does play on the tv but it pauses every couple minute to buffer for a few seconds. Very weird.

Suddenly... it just doesn't WORK. They seriously need to fire whoever took over running the app. The web version is still working fine... but the app won't actually let you load videos. Not even your own videos. I'm also no longer logged in which I can't even understand how that's possible. The app that I MADE is still working... They should just hire me!

Horrible! There's NO problem taking money, but apparantly a big problem giving you what you paid for. Been going in circles, loading and unloading the app, trying desktop site, blah, blah, blah and I am not able to access the videos on demand I subscribed to. It's a shame too because I wanted the subscription, but now I'm fed up and will cancel.

I was hoping this would be an alternative video platform, sadly it isn't, can't find content when I search. I'm sure it is worth it for some, just doesn't have content I wish to watch at this time. To delete you account you'll have to go to a computer, since on the phone you can't click on the confirm button. They hid it behind the menu. Go figure, speaks to the quality of the app I guess.

This app works to some extent, but to a large extent, it's useless, especially for videos broadcast live. On a cell phone, both regular uploads and live videos can be viewed on device... but the Chromecast feature fails with an error if you try to Chromecast a live video in progress. (YouTube doesn't have this problem.) On the Android TV version of the app, it's even worse. Any video which was recorded and uploaded live, whether in progress or archived, just won't show up and can't be viewed.

VERY UPSET! I selected 'NO' when prompted to subscribe to Vimeo Plus or Pro, which ever it was, and although I selected 'NO', my account was STILL charged over $230!! I need this canceled and a full refund immediately, please?!! I need that money and have ZERO use for this application! Now, I cannot figure out how to talk to an actual person to get this issue resolved, which is ridiculous. I WANT MY MONEY!!

Really a horrible app. I'm not sure why this app was even published.. when you download a video successfully, nothing shows up under "Downloaded Videos". When you watched some of the video and come back after using another app or taking a phone call and it never remembers where you left off. These are basic functions that this app is somehow missing.

Good quality videos, but really challenging to navigate the app; if I exit a video it goes all the way to the beginning of the list and I have search and work my way back to the video. There's no "continue watching" feature. Watched videos don't show up in my history. My feed has unwanted material, suggestions, staff picks that outnumber items from accts I'm following. Would love to be able to set up a playlist and determine what order videos will be played, especially when watching series.

The notification "Bell" at the top left of the app fails to load any of the videos I got notifications for on the app. I have to go to the "Feed" and rummage through all the "Picks" to get to my chosen notifications. This all started a few weeks ago. Go to "Notifications" after it shows on my mobile device and get an error notice "Something Went Wrong". Tried reinstalling but no help. Also, the "Support" tab doesn't take me to the "Zen Desk", starts to but then just goes to the "Home" page.

This app is garbage! I was searching for a channel, and the results only showed old videos from the channel. Nothing newer than this past April (it's currently December) and no link to the channel itself. Once I jumped through hoops to finally find the video I wanted, I had to add to watch later to play it All this because I got a message on my Roku that they ended support for tv apps, and you have to use Chromecast or Apple from your mobile device. Guess what? No cast icon on the video either!

Like all vimeos apps for all platforms, this app is useless. It fails to load, crashes, won't login, and the 2% of the time it manages to open, not crash, or login, it either wont load videos (or thumbnails for that matter) or takes 2-3 min to load a 720p video and then playback immediately pauses and wont continue. I've been on Vimeo for over 9 years and they have some of the highest quality content on the web, but clearly their business model just doesnt care to support it.

Have to pay a ridiculous amount of money for basic functionality. Can't send links to videos you create unless you pay? Weak. From what I see from other reviews, subscription model is terrible and so is customer service. Uninstalled 5 minutes after installing. I'd pay if the prices were reasonable but maybe it does something amazing that I just don't see or need. Shame.

I signed up to watch a documentary, and then I still had to pay to rent/buy the doc. Vimeo no longer supports Roku, so I couldn't watch it on my TV. Apparently there is a way, but it wasn't obvious and honestly it shouldn't be that complicated. Finally, canceling is difficult . It's not in the subscription section of the play store. If you are still struggling to find it, go to the Help Desk, scroll down and click Cancel, then click on Billing Settings and turn off auto renew. Annoying!

aight. so i used to use this app years ago. i still have about 4 or 5 vids on it still. i just downloaded it tonight to post something on reddit. uploaded the video. took a long time. then it said there was an issue and to reupload the video. so i did. then it stuck on the last part optimizing or something like that. no big deal i guess. ill try again later. im hoping it was user error n that it will work later. til then im gonna try imgur i guess? idk

SOOO HARD TO UNSUBSCRIBE!!!!! THIS APP IS A SCAM AND SHOULD BE WITH THE FRAUD CATAGORY!!! I have been trying to figure out how they have been taking my money and I cant for the life of me figure it out!!!! I have signed in with every account i can think of and its saying im on the free plan for all of them!

I found out after years of subscription I've been charged on the same account for the same subscription on multiple different cards, this app has essentially stolen hundreds of dollars from me. unbelievable

An awful app that does nothing properly except taking your money. I tried to make a short movie from a bunch of pictures and it proved to be a waste of time. Editing the length of scenes is a nightmare, no option to manually input a value, users must use an imprecise slider on each scene. In the movie a zoom-in effect is applied to all pictures even if "no effect" was configured for each! Last but not least: the Vimeo logo is applied to the entire movie even with a paid Vimeo subscription!

Signed up for the free subscription. Couldn't figure out how to cancel it before I got charged so I contacted Vimeo for support and my bank in case i needed to cancel the card. Shawn from Vimeo responded the next day and assured me my account was deleted. Thanks Shawn amazing customer service.

physically impossible to cast to anything ever. Cannot be fixed even by the uploader. Genuinely useless app and website.
