Vinted - Buy and sell clothes

My feedback is as a buyer. Had great interactions with sellers so far. Have liked the items I have received, too! My problem mainly lies with the sellers who put select one size in the size category but then claim a completely different size in the description. If possible could you make a filter to remove brands I'm not interested in? Plus, please bring back the ability to swipe through the photos of the items on the explore page without having to press the item first, I loved that feature 😭❤️

It's a great selling experience and easy to use. The only drawback is communicating with Vinted through AI CHATBOT ONLY. I've gone round and round with Vented on an issue. I finally gave up. update 1/15/2026: I believe my account was suspended, and I wasn't notified. I am still receiving payment for previously shipped items,however, I can't sell anything else as of my complaint 1 /5/2026! There is no one to go to - to confirm my member status.

Starts off a really good app, but all unravels once you run into problems. I've had multiple parcels delayed now or cancelled all together. Vinted's customer service team is appalling. It's all AI, humans won't reply and your problem will just be completely ignored. They hide behind an ethos of caring and doing right for the world but when it comes to it, they are a faceless conglomerate like all the others. Latest parcel 28 days late, can't cancel, won't refund £3 shipping. eBay care more.

Overall very good, add much improved since I first started using the app 3 or 4 years ago. It's not just clothes anymore and that's great. It still has the issue of people just trying to rip you off and underbuy for hilariously small amounts. But I guess that's not something you can really fix. The worst thing, and this is certainly something that can be fixed in my opinion, is a way of tracking the status of an order once someone has bought it. When selling lots of stuff, it's a bit confusing

Not impressed with my first shopping experience. I searched for women's boots, which seemed to work fine. However, once I applied any filters, the results would become random and present items that were not boots. In fact, I didn't see any boots at all. I did the same thing, searching for women's shoes, and the same thing happened. Then I went to the help section and there was no way to report problems with the app. I'll stick with the other buying/selling apps I'm familiar with.

This app is starting to look like a scam. I shipped an item that was successfully delivered on January 29, yet I still haven’t been paid. Even worse, the same buyer was allowed to purchase another item. To make things more suspicious, the buyer’s location shows UK, but the shipping address is in New York. Delayed payouts, inconsistent buyer information, and zero accountability are major red flags. This is unacceptable.

edit to add: their support team is the most illiterate, incompetent, unreliable group of people I have ever come across. I don't recommend using this app. find a different selling platform vinted used to be a good app. I enjoyed selling on their platform, that is until they decided to force sellers to ship internationally with no option to turn it off. Now I have to cancel sales and risk bad reviews thanks to their decision because I don't want to ship outside the US.

Decent if you want to get some cheap second hand items. But beware, MOST of the mid tier and higher end stuff is fake. Vinted is flooded with dupes and unscrupulous sellers. If a price is too good to be true, I promise you it is. Even the pricier items tend to be dupes. Their item verification check is faulty and unreliable as well.

A UK based app. Not enough U.S. based sellers. What's the point of buying second hand if you end up paying the full price after shipping and taxes? Maybe once it gains more popularity, more U.S. based sellers will join. In the meantime, it's not worth it as a second hand clothing option. At least there should be a filter setting to select "only US sellers" or "sellers within a 100 mile radius" something like that.

A huge Vinted fan here. I'm both a seller and a buyer (more a seller). I had an issue with not being able to track return packages as a seller (I had quite a few of those one time and had no info as to when and where they arrive). Customer Support promised to give feedback to the relevant team. A few weeks later this feature was implemented. I'm not sure whether more sellers complained about it. But I love this app because user feedback gets implemented (so fast)!

Full of Scams- BEWARE.Lots of sellers with no reviews and no pfp. Selling name brand items sometimes at too good to be true prices. Vinted also is awful at resolving issues. They never get back to you, and rely too much on the seller's word. If you purchase an item from a scammer, it will eventually even give you a tracking notification, with a number. However, the item will never ship to you, and the tracking updates won't make any sense. Have to wait over 30 days to report as "lost" 🙄

I like the app. It's easy to search for categories. However I would really appreciate a Google Lens type search feature. If I'm looking for something very specific (eg: if I broke my favourite dress) it can be so hard. People just put "lovely top" with no detail. If I could search for images to find closest matches to what I want I believe it would help buyers and sellers make more transactions

Terrible for buyers. 1- If the seller describes the product inaccurately, buyer still has to pay for the item to be shipped back (even though they've been deceived). 2- if a parcel gets lost, buyer only has 2 days to ask for a refund. 3- I've reported two sellers who are clearly deceiving the buyers (one actually wrote in the description that transactions HAVE to take place outside the app) and Vinted replies to me saying "no issue found".

Grateful for this application. I took a bit of time to start and wish I had much earlier. Vinted is an easy to use app with safety at the forefront and I value this. I love the process of selling and knowing pieces that I have loved will go onto someone new and not in landfills. There are areas for improvement, like cropping photos when you take them live on the app-but, it seems Vinted listens to feedback. We are downsizing -home and bodies! So, making a bit of extra money too is a bonus!

The app has become so buggy recently, which is a little concerning when it contains sensitive information like bank details and addresses. I sold an item on a different platform, so tried to mark it as sold on Vinted, but it wouldn't let me. I kept getting a 'something went wrong, please try again later' message, which is no use to anyone because if someone buys the listing within that time, i have to cancel the order and that affects my shop rating. I ended up just having to delete the listing

I really liked this App, but the newest update really got on my nerves. I've sold and bought many things, but they took away the Rating feature for 'non-system/vinted-transactions' aka if you sell an Item via a different option (in persona, PayPal...) you can't rate the person. Also here in Germany there's way more and cheaper packaging options than in the app, which is pretty annoying. You also can't really give discounts as easily as before. Update: there's no filter option for countries :/

The new changes they made since Oktober 1st made the app apparently more safe for both buyers and sellers. The buyer can only choose insured shipping. But I wish they would make it possible for the sellers to choose the shipping company, I don't have a car and I can't always travel 30 minutes to be able to ship a package I'm selling for 5€. I Also don't want to have to ship or buy form outside of Germany. And if you report fake accounts they do nothing and you can't delete the chat for 6 months.

Vinted is a great way to buy and sell second hand items but when something goes wrong with an order more often than not the buyer loses out in some way, financially or through time wasted. the support team are mostly useless and either don't read your messages properly, reply with template messages or maybe they're AI? great when it works, awful when it doesn't.

Overall great app, I bought and sold loads of things without much issue. However the recent app updates actually made it worse. For example why is the brand not tappable anymore? I want to be able to click on the brand of an item to see more from that brand instead of going through a whole search process for it. Also miss the "similar items" feature which was really helpful. I never understand why developers take features away from an otherwise good app. Don't fix what isn't broken.

Have used app for a while and thought it was great. Following update yesterday. A number of things seem to have disappeared in addition to the postage options already mentioned in other reviews. I now can't find an option to set up bundles, put to holiday mode which I used to do when I was going to be away and not available to post sales and no help button. This makes the app really unusable so will be deleting anything for sale if this doesn't get resolved in the next few days.
