It's 0 degrees today, the whole reason people have remote start, and the app won't connect to my car. It has full bars for connectivity in the car and on my phone. And it is in the same spot that I have remote started 1000's of times before. This app always seems to fail when you need it most. This is a very expensive remote start, I expect it to be worth the money. I have put over $600 into this system and it's not doing anything right now. Don't buy this brand, you'll regret it.

The app did not work the day after installation. The starter fails, the GPS does not work. On top of it being flat out broken it gives off a screeching alarm ANY time it fails. I tried contacting customer support (spent an hour on the phone) to no avail. Tried emailing and got the response that they can chat with me in the app but not via email. Absolutely terrible - dont waste your money.

Terrible customer support. I like how the device works but the tracking is not very advanced. I wanted to cancel and customer support made it sound like I was rude for even calling. They had not even intended to explain that there is no refund until I probed further. All in all, customer support would make me not like this product even if it was my favorite. I may have recommended it to others otherwise.

I am trying to get a person on the phone or email to discuss my account. I have been on the phone for just over 4.5 hours total over 6 phone calls (I think I have been very patient). I have left 2 robo-messages to have them call me back to no avail. I have emailed them, heard nothing, then sent a sharper email asking for a response, and gotten a hollow, "We are experiencing a power outage..." and then, of course, didn't hear back. I emailed again...waiting, patiently... All I want to do is change my PREPAID account to an updated module. I am paying for the service NOW and would like it to work while I am paying for it! Otherwise the app is good, i guess.

Got the system thinking that it would alleviate my cold mornings, but so far it's been a bit of a disappointment. Its not 100% reliable, or even 70% on whether the car started or is unlocked. I was getting false returns on the app, so I took it back to the installer and they repositioned it in the dash in order to get a better signal, But I still find myself standing outside my car repeatedly trying to get it to open. Needs Bluetooth or remote antenna!! Update 2/2020: Same problems, with it!

App has improved over the years, but I had to pay to get the new SmartStart module installed to get everything to work. Now mostly reliable with no false starts or alarms, but continues to give error messages with no way to resolve. Still need to use a computer with internet to get some things done, but the app is now useful and stable enough to keep it on my phone. More flexiblility or customization for the dashboards would be appreciated.

Good but could use more features like the ability to use the smart start feature, timer start, runtime remaining, defogger, check temperature. At least for the customers that have the top tier units and subscriptions. All these are available on the remote. Also, I've noticed sometimes it may not connect right away and show a code saying there's no service. Unlocking using the key fob then refreshing the app fixes it for me right away. Overall good but could be better.

When the alarm and smartstart worked it was pretty good. Their customer service is horrible though. After they ”upgraded” their Network my unit stopped working. After over a month now waiting weeks in between email responses and calling and never getting through....The only solution they offer is to buy a new module for $100 and then pay to get it installed. I've spent well over $1000 with parts, installation and subscription. They should offer another solution or actually have someone talk to me who can explain the issue in person. Or at least refund my subscription which I'm paying for that hasn't worked. Just horrible.

The idea of being able to start your car from your cell phone is great. Feature-wise, the auto start itself is fine. The app though needs some work. Why wouldn't they show the vehicle status on the dashboard with the icons? Seems like a really obvious thing to do, if the car is running, show that its running; if its locked/unlocked, show it. The fact that you have to go to the status screen and manually update it to find out basic info that would be visible on a standard two way fob is a serious miss.

Replaced my key FOB with this app and the smart start module. Still getting use to using my phone to unlock and lock, but that's one less thing I have to carry around. App works ok, but the car response is really quick...about 2 secs. I hate that the dash doesn't show car status (running, armed, etc...). It's only shows it in the car settings and you have to refresh constantly. So, if I start my car from the dash, I then have to go to the car settings to see if it is actually running. Dumb.

"App problems" Call several times and bad customer service they hang up the phone on you. They call you a liar I've had this alarm Installed in my car for a year. Never had no issues nothing has been done to my car for the past 2 weeks. I've been getting trigger alerts Nonstop Even when i'm standing in front of the car the alarm is not going off.but get trigger alerts standing in front of the car They tried to blame the installer. They know that they have app problems and they just seem to lie.

I upgraded to the new module and it has a much faster response but after setting the geo fencing ( enter and exit) I get a text message that the vehicle has moved on my cell phone..my old module set off a siren to alert me when the vehicle moved or was speeding. I've called several times and hung up after being a hold for over half hour .. very frustrating. Wish I would have stuck with the old module.. wasn't worth paying for reinstalling it.

Works exactly as it should. Edit. After a few months i have a new phone and this app is terrible when it comes to username and password. Basically, every tike i try to sign in, i get an error since im not signing in with my original device. It seems like a bug developers should have been able to address by now, but i have to go through customer service to be allowed access to my own remote start system.

Bought this for the gps tracking no one bother to tell us it Doesnt track real time only alerts when vehicle starts up have to constantly hit refresh button to track where vehicle is going and the activity log doesn't show activity either. Only show when vehicle starts. This basically good for locating your car in a parking lot or concert. Not good for anything else and you constantly have to log off and on because it gives you alot of error messages

The app itself is ok, though it does have limitations if your account isnt fully setup. If i had a better cellular signal from the vehicle, I could rely on the app alone...but, thats not taken for granted. The smartfence feature has major flaws, and I repeatedly get alerts I've left the area. Upon checking the location alerts, they are way off! When I perform a map check of where my vehicle is live, it works. I've made reports with screenshots and account data, but no response. Zero support.

I have the LTE remote system. This app is not worth the monthly payments. Since I got this system it has drained my battery. The low battery warning does not work until you are sitting in the car trying to start it. So that feature is Pointless! Plus whenever I get somewhere it sends me like 15 alerts that my car is locked, unlocked, locked, unlocked, locked, unlocked every time I get out of the car. If youare wanting any of the upgrade features you might want to look into another alarm system.

Works alright but you need to keep the app opened and screen on while it's sending the command. Also, if you close the app in recent apps, it forgets the last command, doesn't say if it was successful or not, and you don't get a countdown timer for how long until it shuts off. Also, it is very slow. Takes about half a minute for my car to get the command and send back the success status whereas only took about 5 seconds with the FOB that I used to use instead. I wish this didn't seem like such a downgrade from the FOB.

Been using this app for three years with no problems. Loved it! Initially gave it a 5 star review. But for the last 3 months, it hasn't been working like it used to. Not sure what changed. I keep getting "command failed". I've downloaded the viper smart start and also the direct smart start. Both has the same issues. Contacted their customer support, and they say it's communicating fine with my mobile phone. I don't know how they got that info, if it hasn't been working 95% of the time.

Talked to customer support on two different occasions. Both people I talked to acted like I was bothering them and couldn't be less helpful. App is reading way to high 346MPH. One just said sign out of the App and sign back in. Didn't even stay long enough to see if it worked. The second person was no better except that she said the problem was with my phone and to call call the manufacturer. Nothing else that she could and hung up!!

Very informative, once I figured out how to use it. The app can show a lot of information about the vehicle's state. Not only can it start & stop the vehicle, you're able to see if trunk, doors, and hood are open, check your fuel level, get accurate miles, and keep an eye on battery power level. Get notified of speeding (of your desired setting) have been committed. You can get notified if the vehicle drives further away than you were told, by setting geofences. And live GPS locations. Get one!
