Virtual Number - Fanytel

This is a good app. If you need Whatsapp numbers especially, this is great. It's not free but it's cheap. It's actually $1.98 each because there's also a $0.99 activation fee with every number you get. You can get at least four numbers at the same time. Probably more but I did not try. Just not sure how to unsubscribe from all these $0.99/mo. lines now... Overall really great app, if you can swing $2 it's a no brainer.

It work Ed great for a week but as soon as I got an interview call a month later... the quality was super bad. had to reschedule for next week. Reached out to their WhatsApp support, it took a few hours for them but they fixed it, and even called on my number (I asked them to) to test the call quality. I also think that uninstalling and reinstalling could have helped fix it. At any rate, helpful support. My advice, if you're using it for work make sure to test the connection a day or two ahead.

According to customer support, my number with Fanytel suddenly "disappeared" as it's "not available" anymore. This is only the last of many problems with Fanytel. It's just not a good quality service. Sucks because I live abroad and many important services are tied to this number. Do not go with this company - there are far better options.

it's unpredictable, at times I can't receive calls , they come as missed calls . it's very unpredictable. I haven't been able to receive a call for more than a week . I have contacted support many times. I really hope they fix the glitch in their system.It would be a shame to change apps.

I am really having an issue buying the credits. I have tried twice, the app deducts money from my account but the credits are still not loaded. I have tried asking for a refund but my bank can't refund. It's really frustrating.

My experience with this app have been terrible, I should have just listened to peoples review on the app, because tell me why I would use my last cash to buy a number for receiving sms and up till now its not working the number is just useless. Chatted with their customer care he was telling me its not a technical issue when clear the site I'm using said they have sent the otp sms multiple times, but I did not receive it 😭😭😭😭 my money has gone to waste.

Terrible experience. If there was an option for 0 star then it deserves 0! Bought a virtual UK number from them. The calls keep dropping of at 15 minutes. When I complained, the customer service asked me to change my network! Which works fine! When I asked if there is a call limit for per incoming calls, they said "No" but in reality there is a 60 minutes call limit per call! Which changed to 15 minutes since 28th January 2026 for me. Except this there is always missed calls and blank calls.

i haven't received my refund back please do something about this.. i recently made a purchase on the Google Play Store, and while the money has been debited from my card, the credits have not reflected in my account. Since I haven't received what I paid for, I would like to request a full refund. Please look into this transaction

thought it was a nice app, but I guess it's not, I've been trying to get a code from PayPal since yesterday to no avail now I can't open a PayPal account for now with the number I purchased from your app it's annoying for real, didn't expect this at all, no customer support I can contact how do I contact you guys? PayPal has sent a code I'm yet to receive it and I'm expecting a payment this evening, do you want me to miss out on it? this is extremely annoying

i previously registered to this App using my Phone Number and i had purchased Virtual Number for yearly subscriptions but this them instantly removed access to app through Phone number. Now option to login through mobile number had been made available, but each time i try to login to app using my mobile number, verification failed occurs, and qouta exceeded is written. i don't know what's the issue now.

Terrible app. Unable to receive and make calls and text messages. When I reached out to support services, a guy using WhatsApp communication handled it so bad, never resolved the issue, just kept on giving me messages related to app being updated but the issue never went away. Don't waste your money here.

WORST SERVICE EVER with Fanytel Business. Calls auto-hang, numbers show anonymous, and support completely IGNORES issues citing vague "technical problems" for weeks. No resolution, no transparency, no effort to fix. Service is unreliable, customer support is non-existent. Payments keep getting taken but problems aren't solved. Multiple users likely facing same issues but Fanytel doesn't care. Alternatives are available - don't waste time or money on this broken service. Avoid Fanytel.

Please Don't ever subscribe to this app. They are scamming people out of their hard earned money and I have proofs cos this is my 4th time buying a number from them. Anytime your number has successfully renewed for the following month it stopped working and their stupid customer care number won't answer you on Whatsapp. Please for the sake of your mental health don't buy their number they are a criminal organization.

Pls I have a problem, I am being charged renewal fee twice on a number, and yesterday I paid for renewal of there numbers only to see two numbers active. few minutes ago I was also debated for same number. Am I being dumped or what. I need a refund of the double charges.

Totally disappointed with this app!! I tried buying credits earlier but my card was declined only for my money to be deducted twice minutes later while I wasn't even aware. I didn't get any credits even after my money was deducted from my card.

Terrible app. Total waste of money. I purchased a US virtual number yesterday from Fanytel, and the number they gave me is completely useless. When I tried to use it on WhatsApp to receive a verification code, WhatsApp clearly said “This number does not exist.” What is the point of selling virtual numbers if they don’t even exist? This feels like a scam. No proper support, no replacement, no refund. I strongly do NOT recommend this app to anyone. Save your money and avoid Fanytel.

I have been using this service for about a year now and haven’t faced a single issue. Recently, I needed some help and the Fanytel team responded very quickly, resolving everything within just a few minutes. Their support is excellent and very reliable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a virtual number service.

decent prices but the markup on credits via app store purchases are crazy high. I couldn't get any kind of credit card to process on their website either (tried canadian and American plus a debit card and even a gift card).

Can't use the numbers for anything and there's no refund. I mistakenly deleted the number and they won't give me another one. money wasted. if you see an app with 3 stars do not engage.

Prices are the best. Phone service seems to work. Outgoing sms messages you will be billed for but they won't ever be received. They are not cheap at 10c for a USA sms and 20c for an international sms --- neither of which any recipient will ever actually get. Customer "service" phones it in. This is not a good company. I didn't expect stellar 24/7 customer support at these prices, but I did expect the product to fully work. 5 star reviews you read here praising the customer "service" are phony.
