VITA - Video Editor & Maker

I really want to say this is a good app, and it's amazing for short form content, but if you're making anything longer than 3 minutes, good luck. I cannot export a project I've been working on for 3 weeks (around 30 mins?) and I broke it into 4 different sections because I knew this would happen. I don't recommend if you make longer videos. Honestly slow to load and constantly closes me out of the app.

I love all the features,not difficult to use at all. Although there are slight problems when editing of it lagging, I'm not sure if it's due to the long length of the videos I'm editing. It autosaves which is wonderful. The stickers they have are great already but they have giphy so you're able to search for specific images. You can also add personal images and cut then out when added. They have a wonderful selection of templates to choose from as well. To be safe, edit videos in segments.

So after a year I wanted to come and edit my review. I love VITA but let me be clear if you are trying to do a long video for like Youtube, etc don't use this. This editor is more for shorter vids. (At least that's the ones that come out the best for me) some of their transits are basic if you compare it to other apps but you also gotta pay for other apps. So for a free app that does EVERYTHING it is a very useful tool. I recommend it! But there is not a lookup option for like transitions etc~

i saw ads on this app and it showed you how to make a 90s edit, like the tutorial was legit in the ad. and i thought it was gonna be a scam/false advertisement or it was gonna be like “watch an ad to unlock this effect” or “get premium to use this effect” but it was actually free. only reason why i didn't rate it 5 stars is because while editing, if you try to play the video it's very laggy and the exporting takes a while. but overall it's a good app.

Extremely good AND free editing app, you can even turn the watermark off. During my time using it, I've gotten very little ads, which is amazing!! Again, a really good app, my only "complaints" is that you can only have up to 3 pips in the same place, that you can only add key frames to the pips, and there's no graphs for the key frames. Even with those things that I would like added, it's a really good app and I recommend using it!! ^_^ [Please add graphs, I beg (⁠｡⁠ŏ⁠﹏⁠ŏ⁠)]

I love this app! I use it for my yt videos! It has so many filters and more! But my only problem with this app is that it takes like forever to export your video. You are not able to leave the app, so I was just sitting there for like, 15 minutes, waiting for my video to finish. Please fix this! Other than that, the filters are amazing, along with the songs and more.

Unreliable. Sometimes the file I'm editing unexpectedly closes without saving changes. If the video is over 325 mb or so, it frequently freezes up and then closes, making the app unusable. Additionally, the audio is rough when transitioning between clips. Sometimes the audio fadeout effect stops working and I have to start over with the audio track. Pros: easy to use. Free.

A clean, basic editor. For the price of a small watermark in the corner you get no intrusive ads or flashy buttons (as of 2-2-24). Beautiful in this day and age. It's not much for advanced features and it crashes occasionally, yes, but you're editing on a phone. These things are to be expected.

Love the app! So many editing options, no adds AND the choice to remove watermark!!!! Dream come true! I just have a silly question. I can't get the music to play in my preview videos even though I have the setting on to play music. Sometimes it plays and sometimes doesn't... Not sure what I'm doing wrong. But still great app!

So far, I love this! Very easy to use, lots of transitions, the options are endless!! I love the music selections, all the effects, which you can apply post-shoot. The only reason I deducted a star is because when you export on HD 1080p, certain transitions and effects fails to export properly. Ex: Dynamic transitions freezes OR glitches the video portion it was applied. Once it happens, that video portion has to be trashed and reimported. I'm using Pixel 5, if that helps the devs any!

It work quite well most times, but the music doesn't seem to work. I was trying to edit a video, and when I added music, I wanted to play it to make sure it was good before posting. When I tryed to play it, there was no music. I tryed downloading a song and I had to sync the music. For some reason, it only download the first twenty seconds of the song. I tried downloading it again in case I had made a mistake, but it didn't work. Thank you for your time❤️ Have an amazing day

DO NOT get this app. I saw a review about how it *sometimes* crashes on you, but it was amazing. I started animating a video that was 2 minutes and 40 seconds. The app didn't do overlays over 3 at a time, so I had to do the video into two parts. It crashed 30+ times. Then, when I finally finished my hours and hours of pain, it crashed while exporting. I tried again, still nothing. This app is more useless than those apps that I thought were video editors when they were photo editors!! DO NOT!

so far, it's giving me a lot of hope that I've found a good editing app after capcut turned pro. Wish there was more shake effects, keyframes and be able to disable the milliseconds things because it's kinda annoying. Also the mark for beat button is NOT fast, which doesn't help when editing to very fast audio. Sometimes, even if there's only one finger touching the screen, it randomly zooms in. it has great potential but needs a bit more polishing. More effects, transitions, and its all good

Fantastic app. I have been using this app for the past 4 years and it is just awesome. User-friendly access and most of the templates and others are free. We can even choose to remove the watermark for free. Minimal ads in between. However, after a longer period of editing it gets hung for a while. But I think it's not much of a deal provided the other awesome features. Only suggestion would be that you may add the music as we need to download it and add.

Started off using this app back in 2021. It wasn't that bad back then, but now, you can not make a single project without it crashing 100 times. Even after exporting, the video gets corrupt, or the effects don't show up. The clip freezes. This app is definitely not a good option for beginners, it's going to demotivate you so much. After so much of editing, you can't even export it without some bug.

I personally love the app it's a bit similar with capcut because it has templates, i love that there is no watermark and most of the effects, stickers, animation etc. are for free so I love that. But when you want to export your video or anything you posted it does take a while which is sometimes irritating, but I prefer you exporting when going to sleep then by the morning it will be done . The voice effects are also amazing, I think they should just work with when the videos export .

This is actually a really great up, everything is free. Although, my only problem is, is the fact that sometimes the audio gets suddenly choppy during editing! also, the app claims to have "auto-save" but, i remembered I had all my clips muted, but when I came back all of the clips suddenly have sounds again 😭?? and it's also slightly laggy. I updated, cleared my cache, and still, the audio issue hasn't gone away. 😓😓

Basic to use, my experience with it is better than CapCut. Although, my problem is that when i find audio, i have to scroll instead of searching for it in my library. Scrolling through 8,000 tracks takes a long time, and finding a specific song is meticulous and takes more time. I hope this feature gets implemented so this won't make me lose my time, scrolling for a sound effect, or a track.

I'd like to give it more stars but can't. A HUGE problem with this app, is if you want to add audio/music from your device to your video, it doesn't have a search option to find it. Worse, it lists all your music in some random order! I have a couple of thousand audio files, from ringtones, sound clips to music. It's a half hour job to scroll through it all looking for the 1 file I want. Do the developers seriously think you only have 1/2 dozen clips on your device???

I only had one problem which was the quality of the video where whenever I adjust the frame to fit my chosen ratio, the video gets blurry, even after I try changing several times exporting the video to the highest quality. But overall, it is good and it's free. I hope you can add more features such as audio extraction and character voice changer.
