This is a good app. If you're serious about improving your voice, it will give the tools to do so. But, the tongue twister exercises are bugged and seriously need to be fixed for accuracy. I spent over an hour in a quiet room carefully recording and adjusting my voice, only to be told it was getting worse. I even shadowed the example word for word. It didn't bother me at first, but some of the AI expressions are so creepy. Would it be impossible to have a real person animate the exercises? Also, I'm not sure how much confidence I have in the accuracy. Specifically with one of the tongue twisters, I swear I said it perfectly over and over and it never worked. After the exercises, I usually have worse results than the initial read. Maybe the exercises are tiring out my voice rather than strengthening it? Wish I could get my money back

The ad was great and what I wanted, But the actual exercises are not of any value so far. they. at 4.99 it were ok, but they not only charge weekly instead of monthly, they double it to 9.99 a week. $40 a month that doesn't allow you to skip boring nonsense and screen transitions and you never have enough time to get to anything helpful. even so, I would have let it ride at 4.99, but I'm getting rid of it for this greed and lack of value. today it just builds the flower and never loads at all.

I like the app and the exercises. I hate that the videos stop in the middle of the exercise and I am not able to finish, sometimes I can't upload after I finish an audio recording. This doesn't happen only when I am on cellular network but also when I am connected to wifi. I cam watch videos in YouTube or stream a movie on Netflix but not yhe videos on the app. Hopefully this get fixed soon because is very annoying. As a paying member I should have the option yo download the videos...

not bad, but could be better. when doing tongue twisters, it will just mark the mispronounced words in red, without giving any actual feedback on how to pronounce it better. I gave up after countless tries. Sure, it trains you to speak fast, but it doesn't do anything for clarity. (only did 2 lessons so far). Also, wish there was 1. a slower version of the example, and 2. a pause button so I can stop after each word to repeat individual words. or even better playback for each word individually

They can help deepen your voice tone, and have a slightly different program for introverts! like yes, this is what I've been looking for! I've had trouble with my voice in communication my whole life, and this app addresses that! My only issue is that I want to develop a British accent on the side, and I wish this app had that option as well.

Apparently it's not a genuine voice analysis app; or else it has problems hearing my voice, regardless of accent, anunciation, intonation, pronunciation, pitch, pause, projection, regulation or volume. I cleaned my microphones and still get random results that appear to have absolutely no bearing on what or how I spoke. I don't think this app actually analyzes my voice at all. It just gives fake "mistake" results to coerce me to practice the same speech over and over again. Refund, hopefully.

Buggy UI and confusing subscription. I signed up for a 7 day trial but its not reflected in the UI even though it shows up in the play subscription. It prompts me to sign up for another trial at a higher annual price, bit wait, if I click the trial again, it informs me that ill be charged immediately for the annual amount. In addition somethings buggy with the UI, graphics just keeps flickering, the backbutton doesn't work, I have to keep closing the app and open it again to navigate.

I am the last one to complain, but I felt hard done by being charged $84.39 (the full price of an annual membership upfront, after my trial period ended) after multiple attempts and requests to have it canceled and to get reimbursed. I am really passionate about vocal training, and I genuinely hope this app is able to aid others in their own journey, but for me, I just could not get past how my situation was handled.

Fraudulent didn't authorize. Beware, they won't refund. I had to close the card. Zero contact from app developer. UPDATE:: Money was refunded after I had to contact legal assistance. After getting assistance, they waited and recently charged the credit card that had to be closed. So, they store your card information. Now, I am facing additional charges, and I could be faced with fraudulent use after closing the account.

I am a previous user of Vocal Image, and I do admit it is well-worth the annual fee of $79, I cannot shell out that much. However, there is an option for 3 months (but it wasn't available to me, I suppose because I used the app before.) The instructions are fantastic, and the lessons are great. I love the variety of exercises & I love the flexibility of the program; it is quite amazing for a teaching app.

I feel that the original price is too expensive so I had to wait for a discount sale to purchase it after the free trial. Make it more affordable. After getting a new phone the app doesn't register that I paid for the full year.(edited. was able to log back in) The excersizes offered after you pay are not as good as the ones you get to test run. They need to add vocal warm-up videos to make this worth the cost. Probably will not Renew subscription.

I've used it for about a week and it has certainly helped, but I can think of two things to add. Under voice evaluation it would help if people could say if your voice sounds masculine or feminine. Also, sometimes the low is much lower than normal or the high is much higher but I can't tell where in the recording. It would be a big help if it gave one of those graphs that show where your pitch is throughout rather than just saying what the high, low, and average are.

I was never actually granted access after payment. Only the free trial works, but it requires your credit card information and it will automatically bill you (but then essentially lock you out). I enjoyed the exercises during the trial (and am seeking a refund, since I am unable to access what I paid for). I do have some concerns... My voice seemed to change, but it mostly became more feminine, and I am not sure why the app would make that the primary focus? Or maybe that was not what was inten

Stuck in subscription offer page, only way to get out is to download a "force rotation app" put it in landscape and bash the "x" in the top left corner. The problem is, push wrong training and you get that message again. Any training you do that involves videos or anything you have to hit the arrow at the top right corner to continue and well, you guesses it, you gotta be landscape. Basically it's useless until they fix it.

The idea of the app is great, but even after agreeing to the 7-Day trial where they will definitely charge you for full-year afterwards, you still constantly get prompted to do the free trial even after agreeing to it. There was a promotion for 60% off for the year so I went ahead and signed up and paid, and it still says I have a free account and it's still prompting me to sign up for the trial. Not only that, basically every cool feature is limited by this. Shame. Cool idea, awful execution.

USABILITY: Biggest issue is that there's no way to manage your subscription in the app. The only way to purchase a subscription is to happen across a "free trial" page. Even so, I am getting an error "Your transaction can't be completed" on Google Play, making it impossible to even try out a free trial. SUBSCRIPTION MODEL: There's only a yearly subscription model for an app that has a 30 day course. EDIT: A yearly plan with only 30 days of content is not the "most value". Most profit maybe.

After being able to use some of the exercises without restrictions for a period of time, each exercise will require a premium subscription, even the ones not marked as premium. While I would love to try using premium to change how my voice sounds, $79.99 a year is not a good option for me who A: Cannot afford such a price; and B: needs to take breaks in between learning. It would be nice to have multiple subscription plans or to require an ad to be watched before being able to use an exercise.

The app is quite expensive even with a discount of 50% off. at $40 with very little opportunities to try the app out before purchasing it seems difficult to make up my mind. So far I like the app... my only complaint is the high price and the quantitative analysis is hard to understand when it gives just a score and little else to compare those scores like some of the other ratings do. A visual comparison on every voice variable would be more helpful.

The app has great lessons that are profoundly helpful, diverse, and actionable, and the subscription is affordable. It'd be worth it if the app itself functioned consistently. I will sometimes get locked into or out of screens with no way to leave them without closing the app entirely. Other times, I will click on a lesson and wait several minutes for it to load, but it never does—trapped on a gray screen. Not all lessons are like this, but many are permanently inaccessible for this reason.
