You know how sometimes you can just tell something is awesome before you even use it? Well that's the case with this voice recorder. What a cool, seamless installation process. What a fair, easy yearly pricing plan - what a nice list of features it offers right @ no added cost. I rarely purchase something before I even use it, but $20 for the year is a fantastic deal. I just upgraded my phone & the voice recorders I had previously never updated & one is not compatible. Instant: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I have been using this app for daily recording for almost a year. I had been using the free version just to record, trim, and post. All of that was great until the last month or so when adds started popping up after everything you do. After you save a recording there is an add, before and after trimming or posting there are adds. I understand adds, but the app just went from being useful to being annoying. So, I gave this app 3 stars for the great app burdened by too many adds.

Works exactly as it says. Easy to import files from other apps, trim, and/or edit them. I had a long recording that I took using a different app. The other app had no option to see where in the recording noise was detected. It only showed a blank background with the option to go forwards or backwards. There was no indication of which parts were silent. I transfered that recording to this app, and was able to cut out the silent parts and skip straight to the part I had intended to record.

Haha what a joke. They give you a very short portion of time with good audio recordings for free. However, if you don't purchase their "super" version after that period ends, they place an annoying 2-second chime at the beginning of every recording so you can't actually use it for anything important without an irritating noise disrupting your audio at the beginning. Trash. Bravo for once again making "free and useful" not free 🙄

For starters, when I open the app, it usually means I need to use the recorder; however, you have to wait for an ad to play before it's usable. The other day, I realized that if a call came throuth, the recording just went completely silent and recorded nothing. Now today I tried to use the app, and there was no sound at all when I tried to play it back. It recorded nothing from the entire interaction. This is the most unreliable app I have ever used.

The ads are a little bully-ish but this app works like it promises, which is unfortunately not always the norm. I've had it for over a year and it's really handy. Most recently it has stopped allowing me to name files that I record. It continues to give the files number names even when I try to rename it. I just realized this has been happening because it doesn't even show as if it hasn't saved.

I've been using the premium version of this app for almost two years and I'm about to delete it and cancel my subscription. The app works relatively well, but several of my recordings have sections that skip very quickly and there's no way to recover or repair the audio. The app also repeatedly shows me ads even though I am paying for this app. Backing up files to Google Drive also repeatedly fails. I just need an app that records reliably well and respects that I'm a paying customer.

The controls look bare-bones, but they are surprisingly powerful and are laid out quite logically. The app is very easy to use, and editing is quick and easy. The ability to leave bookmarks is a great idea, and the execution is perfect and simple. I had a recorder app that decided to start charging money to allow edits. I'm glad they got greedy, because it drove me to this app, with which I am quite pleased. Screw those other guys!

Many things are set by developers, with no ability of user to change. Rather presumptuous of them to think they know more than every person who will ever wish to try this app!! Example: I want to move the folder destination of the recordings to make them easier to access for a visually impaired person (e.g., put them in with "My Files" -duh!! So quick and easy! Or, if many recordings, like before I do a lecture tour, then I put them on an external chip. Not with THIS app I don't!!

So Far So Good... It's easy to navigate & the sound quality of my recordings are great.. My only complaint is that you only get a 3 day free trial & I wish it was long (7-30) because I won't be using it every day or every other day, I will only be using it maybe a couple of times a week/every other week.. So it would be nice to be able to actually check it out before I decide to purchase it or not.

Sleek and easy to use! Using the app is simple with minimal permissions, and the functionality is great. During recording a basic waveform displays until you are finished recording. I like that functionality to show whether or not my mic is too close to record. This essentially replaces an entire device as external bluetooth mics can also be used when configured in phone settings. Keep up the great work and I will continue to use this app!

So far everything I had ⬇loaded it for is working I haven't used everything yet, but am about too. & will ⬆date depending on how well the app performs overall. I wasn't expecting to have to pay for a subscription to use anything more then basic recording, which kind of bothered me but at least they offer a 3 day trial run before making you pay. So that you can try everything 1st. + they offer 3 payment options Monthly, Quarterly(3month) and Yearly. With a great discount for paying in advance.

Works exactly as it's supposed to! Most of the features are locked behind a pay wall but my answer to that is either dont be cheap or dont complain. This is a solid product. Not sure I'll need it enough to pay for the extras, I will find out as I go and definitely will if needed. It would be super worth it if I needed it for work. As is I was just trying to record my babies jabbering. It was cute. He stopped jabbering as soon as the recording started. Kids.

First off, you really do have access to great resources FOR FREEEEEEE! I'm also not being rudely pressured to buy into the app fully, which has me more inclined to give them my money in the future, so good job on that. Learning tabs on my uke makes sense on this app, and I see potential for vocal improvement. Played through my first song, vocals and ukelele, within 5 minutes of getting this app! Yeah, it was a simple, reduced version... but I felt this sense of accomplishment for the first time

I had numerous recordings some which were very important. When I clicked on them to listen I get told the file doesn't exist or has been deleted. When I reached out to customer I just got told well it's something you did in short. When I showed it was doing it for every file I got no response. Get a better app elsewhere. And don't count on issues getting resolved.

Edit: I was having some trouble with the paid version of the app, but that's been resolved and customer service helped me out, even with a language barrier. This app has been super helpful in recording and transcribing several-hour-long meetings and game sessions, and I've found the paid version well worth the money. Highly recommend!

I have loved using this app for my music recordings but the new ads have rendered in unusable. I cannot actually access the voice recorder app anymore, it is just endless ads that keep taking me to download some other app. I would pay for a premium version that restores the previous functionality but since I cannot even figure out how to access the app I have no idea how I could even access an option to upgrade and pay for it. Oh well.

Very Good! It recorded AND transcribed very well. However, there seems to be an issue w recording over other recordings. By that, I mean Ill be having a conversation e someone, and I can see that its recording and I can see that its transcribing at 5he same time. Great! However, occasionally, parts of some other conversation - God knows where -will suddenly be inserted into the text of the transcription that the app is doing real-time for me. It doesnt happen regularly, but it sure throws u off!

So far, this app has been the easiest and simplest recorder to use. Its stripped down to including only exactly what is needed to record and save. And it picks up even the slightest noises(voices) from quite a large distance. I love it so far!! Hope it continues to be the same and not include tons of ads and annoying useless spam.

By far the cleanest microphone app I have used. Like... Weirdly on another level better than the ones I have used. The different recording options is a very neat feature, the MP3 and AMR options seemed worse quality. If your phone has two microphone ports (like the Google Pixel 3a), the app will pan one microphone mostly to the left and the other microphone mostly to the right. I'm not sure if that's intended, but it isn't a big problem. I'd probably prefer that it didn't pan the audio however.
