Voice Recorder: Memos & Audio

Overall it is a nice app, it does it's job, but I'm going to find something else because I'm getting tired of granting all the permissions every. Single. Time. I open the app. One of the things I use it for is recording conversations or songs my chior is singing. For those things I need to be able to open it quickly. I can't do that when I have to continuously grant permissions. The same permissions.

For me so far, I love the way my voice project on here! I tried 3 other apps and the quality wasn't there for me. Sometimes it won't allow me to record back to back without some sort of interruption. I'll be recording and when I press stop, it won't stop, and it'll keep recording, I'll have to exit out losing all my content and have to start all over again!! Again so far it's ok, I like it!!!

amazing app. everytime I use it I enjoy it. as someone who enjoys singing (even tho I'm not good at it) I use it quite often. the words always come out clear, you don't need to raise your voice, and there's no unnecessary background noises. it also comes in handy if you want to just record a sound from you phone (which I do a lot) and you want to make it an alarm or something. I personally find it a lot easier than most app. I definitely recommend it👍

I would rate this a -1 if I could. I installed the app, granted it's permissions and recorded a 1.5 hour meeting followed by "stop and save". I did not change the default name of "Recording" (there was no visual indication that I should). The app did not complain when I completed the save operation. It also did not store my recording or give me another chance to save it. So my 1.5 hour recording is lost forever thanks to an easily avoidable UI design flaw.

It shouldn't even get one star! It's not an app at all! I needed to record something very quickly. I watched it working the entire time. I stopped it, saved the file name, got a pop up that the file save was successful but then when I go to play the file... NOTHING is there!!! Absolute garbage! Update: I left my review on 3/1/21 and you are just now responding on 8/6/21! Thanks but no thanks. I don’t even have that phone anymore. Not helpful!

Newest update looked nice until I realized I can't email the files anymore. They're no longer saved anywhere in my phone even after turning on the setting to find them in other apps. The app share option takes forever to load and doesn't even send the file but a link to the app in the playstore instead. Edit: The issue isn't the files being large, which they aren't in the first place. The issue is they don't save on my device anymore at all and there's no way to send them from the app

Took over my contacts, calls that come in and prompted to record them. Kept saying it wanted to have access to my contacts. Didn't like the way it kept popping up in front of everything. It would start playing music without me even prompting it to do so and then I couldn't find where the file was that it was playing so I could stop it and I hunted forever and could not find it so the music was just playing on its own through my phone and I had no control over it. Very frustrating!!!

DO NOT USE!!! WHAT A BLOODY FRIGGIN NIGHTMARE! I downloaded this app & I was bombarded by constant pop ups! I would be in the middle of a phone call & would get a pop up & the person on the other end could hear it as well! Pop up blockers do not work!! It was for the same app, Ceasars slots, and I've had the app for years! I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF A ZOOM JOB INTERVIEW AND IT WENT OFF SO MANY TIMES WE HAD TO HANG UP & I DIDNT GET THE JOB CAUSE OF NOT BEING ABLE TO FINISH THE INTERVIEW!

I recorded a 45 minute meeting and when I go back to listen to the recording, it stops when your ad pops up or a notification comes in or when I pause it to type a sentence. Then I have to close all apps on my phone and start over from the beginning, hopefully getting to hear the whole recording which I have been able to yet. I used the app last year and it worked fine but now that I started using it again this year, it is horrible.

VERY SUSPICIOUS!! I uninstalled after seeing that the app was in my notifications saying "recording call" for the past 2hrs and 30 minutes, and I was on the phone at around that time span. I couldnt figure out a way to stop it, there was no information about the recording on the app, so I had to delete the app. This looks like a serious breach in privacy and a major red flag. UPDATE: Still no explanation for why it was recording w/o consent and inexplicity for over 2 hrs, w/ no way to stop it 🤣

Audio quality is great, but sound files are stored poorly. I backed up my phone's files befire switching to a new phone, but the files for this program never saved over and I lost hundreds of valuable files. In addition, now everytime I open the app I have to go through extra windows just to pull up recorded files. Really getting convoluted.

The only reason I'm giving this app one star is that I can't give it zero. Liked something about this app? It doesn't have that feature the next day. Had a recording that was worth thousands of dollars in intellectual property value that you just spent an hour or more recording? It'll glitch out and fail to save. Need to listen to your recordings? You'll need a different app for that. Trusted it was still recording in the background like it always did before? Uncorrect. It wasn't. 0/100.

you guys had one job and were doing it well for a while but then.. advertisements. that's cool, shouldn't be an issue but this is the one and only app that plays sound with their ads. very loudly. literally the one app that shouldn't be making noise while I'm trying to make noise. how's that not obvious? who's idea was this? I've used this for a long time but not anymore. this app is stupid and i hope everyone deletes this trash. i don't want your feedback either so don't bother.

horrible. just plain horrible. ads pop up in the middle of your recording with the loudest version of their commercials that they could possibly produce, thus thwarting your production of your message to yourself or your audio recording or whatever you're using this app to do. Trash it don't download it this thing's god darned awful. what an intrusive annoyance and a waste of time.

Barely functioning app that bombards you with 4 trillion ads a second just to do what Ventrilo did for free 30 years ago. Immediately uninstalled. Couldn't even get it to do the one thing I downloaded it for, and that was actually exporting the .mp3 file I made. Don't waste your time with this one.

I renewed my subscription, it does not support my WAV recordings? Your subscription read " supports WAV recordings. Please explain.

I am using the app to recite and remember Bible verses. it is a great tool for this.

Ok voice recorder. Was working okay when I first got it. For some reason now, when I turn the screen off (or it times out) it appears to stop recording sound and you can't save and lose anything that was recorded.... Very disappointing since I had a good conversation I thought was recording and when I went back, it was blank. Moved onto another app that hopefully works better when the lock screen is on.

I didn't like this recording app because you can't pull back the recording to listen to different sections, you can only pause or play. I also found that the recording went back to the beginning of my screen turned off, which I found very annoying when trying to listen to hour long recordings of music lessons. It would suddenly stop playing and would be back to the beginning if I tried to press play.

I use it a lot for work to make short notes when I can't find something to write on.
