its a really good app, the sound quality is surprisingly good with it has a major flaw. alnost every time I pause it, it jumps to the end. this is really annoying when trying to transcribe an interview as I have to keep going back and finding exactly where I was every time I pause it to write something down which is so much more time consuming. if they fix this, it would be 5 stars

I've used Smart Recorder to record music ideas and was looking for something better, but now I'll go back. 1) There's a delay before recording so you need to pause between pressing record and putting down content. Nobody wants to lose the first notes because the recording wasn't fast enough. 2) I can't use sideswipe when naming recordings forcing me to type a character at a time. 3) Ads are more invasive (full screen). 4) Stopped playing after a few recordings and deletes.

This is driving me crazy. It is impossible to pause as opposed to stop the recording(I think it's supposed to be pressure sensitive but the difference is too subtle to master). Also if you are trying to jump to a certain time in the rocording(I dunno, maybe because you stopped a recording unwillingly and needed to get back to where you were) and you dont hit the time line perfectly you will select another recording that is on the other side of this bar. Also you usually cant name the recordings

Love this! Never misses a call but you must use speakerphone for it to record the other end. It provides proof of what was said during imortant phones calls and can be used as evidence in any complaints or appeals. Be aware that if your phone is stolen, thieves will have access to any information recorded during calls, such as credit cards details, so if you need to save them, copy them over to something more secure and delete from your phone as soon as possible.

didn't work for what I needed. It doesn't appear really allow for more. It would have been great to just touch the icon and then record what I wanted. upon my once having the options of pause and stop, I could have just stopped, played. deleted if no good, or saved to use and have it all available without having to sign in, etc. Now please refrain from further nosey intrusions. Your app is inadequate.

Great Voice Recording App Invaluable for brainstorming, disscussions, and things as mundane as doctors visits or any other setting where time is valuable and it is important not to miss critical spoken information. I don't use it for interviewing, but it would be invaluable for employment candidates where they all start blending together. It still works with old Andriod 4.2. The only issue is during recording, if you switch out of the app to do something else, the app locks up loosing record.
