Voice training is hard, especially without external feedback. This app can show your vocal range in real time, allowing you to experiment and see what works instantly. It also has material to read aloud, and can temporarily record it, providing an excellent resource to determine how far you've come and where you still need work. I recommend this app for anyone else suffering from vocal dysphoria, or even anyone who wants to change their voice in general.

It's very worth using. I like the range of features. It's my go-to tool for listening to myself. My only issue is that even with a good microphone, my pitch is picked up less frequently than not. I have to listen for it by ear. Some tools include resonance which this one lacks. What can I say though? Programming audio is difficult and the app is free with rare disruptive ads. Can't complain.

This really helped me keep track of my voice, I feel like I have more control now. I'm trying to get a deeper voice because I am trans (ftm) and this is great for showing my growth. Only thing I can think of to make it better is if you could pause it. It keeps recording untill you click for a new phrase, and you cant just pause the whole thing. Other than that, it's a great app.

Best app I can find for this. Couple things I wish were better. I wish I could scroll back on the graph, instead of, once it drops off the end the information is gone. And getting it to hear me sucks, especially on the pitch monitor. I find if I use my ear buds it works, but otherwise, even when it's quiet it only gets me like 30% of the time. I notice too it has more difficulty registering the masc tones, and it mixes in extreme high points that are probably just noise but make the chart funy

Great app, been using it for well over a year now but it has a few flaws. One is it sometimes take a long time to get a email of the save file. Two is sometimes it won't send the save file to your email or save it to your phone. But even without the save option, the app is useful in lots of ways. One way that it could be better is if there were one more small row for F#4 to B4 for singing.

The app does pick up my microphone and very well. However, whenever I try to play the audio back there's only silence. I know my headphones work because any other media will play, but for some reason this app just won't play through them. Analyzing my pitch is nice, but I need to be able to replay it so I can notice breaks in my voice, if it sounds natural, etc. I also think being able to save the voice files to see my progress would be useful too.

It's probably the best voice trainer for trans people on android. Very unobtrusive adds that can be removed (really to support the devs) The only problems I've had with the app is that I can't send a file through the button provided in the app. You are going to have to externally record the app if you want to save any of your voice for review (I used the built-in app recorder in android's OS). Hopefully the developers continue to improve the app, and I thank them for everything done so far!

Is anyone able to verify that the pitches and tones are accurately represented? I feel I'm not as low as it shows. I'm not a sound engineer and I don't know much about analyzing soundwaves. Please advise. Only negative, or troubling experience I continue to have is when I bring the application back up from being in the background, the microphone doesn't pick up my voice. Afterwards, I need to close and re-open the application for it to register my voice again.

I've been on T for a few years now, but just discovered this app recently. I find this is a helpful way to track how deep my voice has gotten, as well as help me gauge what range I want my voice to be in going forward. I personally try to train my voice so that it is mostly in the androgynous and/or male range, but someone in the process of training their voice to sound higher and/or more feminine would also find this app useful.

Honestly, my hopes weren't high, so it wasn't very disappointing. I found that no matter what I did or how, it wouldn't go into the masculine range, and it would spike way off the chart with every inflection in tone, so I tried something. I brought my voice as high-femme as I can (I'm afab), and spoke fairly quietly, and suddenly, it was in the masculine end. (Basically, I think it's measuring volume >-<)

The ability to see the range, find the voice I'm looking to practice, and just fine tune visually until I'm happy with the structure makes makes the play backs so much more palatable. I've been voice training for a bit and listening back was always my least favorite part. with this i have much less problems listening to my voice. that makes me more willing to voice train.

Its pretty good, does what it says it does, so if you're looking for an app that purely shows you your range, you've got it. I have an idea on how it can be improved, though, rather than just showing you your range, it could show you different aspects of the voice and how that affects the perceived gender of it, like richness, nasally-ness, height, weight, etc. Just an idea, but other than that, it is pretty dang useful and it is exactly how its advertised.

Just what I was looking for. There are a ton of features. The analyze tool is great for tracking voice training is progressing. I also really like the ability to export my results to email, it makes it easy to archive my clips so I can keep a record of my progress. Update: going down to 4 stars because about 60% of the time when I try to export my results to email, the audio clip fails to attach. Lost a lot of clips before I noticed. Would love to see this fixed, it's a great app otherwise.

Unfortunately, this seems to be the best app available for transition-related voice training. It has a number of bugs - ironically, including the button to submit bug reports in the first place. Half the time it launches, it gets stuck "initializing microphone." It doesn't work at all with Bluetooth headsets. That said, it has the features I need, and the pitch visualization is very convenient. When the app works. I haven't found anything better, but I would switch in an instant.

This app really helped me and worked super well until it broke. 💔 for some reason now the audio doesn't replay properly and it cuts in and out and does really all of the recording. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it and it did fix it so idk whats wrong. (Edit: so i found out the cause but unfortunately not the solution, it seems the app for some reason is adjusting my audio output rapidly for no reason. It'll just lower a raise it super fast )

This app is wonderful for anyone trying to work on their voice! It provides correct common pitches of speech, an analyzer with a preset passage to give you details, and a real time listener that shows you your pitch on a graph as you talk. It has been instrumental in my voice work and is excellent in every capacity. Additionally, it's free with minimal ads, or only $10! If you're thinking about it, try this app. It costs nothing and is worth everything.

I used this app a while ago to track my voice drop as I was starting hrt, I recommended it to a friend but now it's so different! I feel like the interface is less user friendly and I'm sad that you can only see your voice pitch live, I liked when you would see it and be able to compare it to other days. I do think it's great that there is a bunch of other functionalities however! Also I kinda hate that the menu on the bottom of the screen is just the home menu but... on the bottom of the screen

This app was fantastic for analyzing my voice for training. However, a bug seems to have arisen where it cannot seem to access my device's microphone (I verified with other apps that the mic does work). Uninstalling and reinstalling the app did not fix the problem.

This app has helped me so much to understand and develop my voice. I love the various features especially the voice "analysis" in which I read a paragraph and get a breakdown of statistics. Thank you too for the thoughtful and sincere message displayed at startup reminding me to take care of my mindset and that this is just an app, not a reflection of my worth. ❤️

Newest version fixes part of the edge-to-edge rendering, along the bottom nav bar, but the header icons and text is still obscured by camera cutout and screen corner radii. Settings screens have input widgets with white text on white background so they are invisible. Ads would be more tolerable if they weren't in the middle of the most important real-time & recording screens where they are constantly changing and thus extremely distracting.
