War Troops 1917:Trench Warfare

Decent game until you hit the pay wall. Can play to level 80, then they want 5-7 dollars for each new area. So if you like games you can easily beat, but you don't really get to beat unless you pay, then this game is for you. Also, after every try, win or lose, you get an ad. Makes a person feel like they wasted their time even downloading this game. Do not reccomend.

Really fun game, don't get me wrong. I do however get a 10 second ad between EVERY level. Some troops and vehicles are thousands of coins, which is almost impossible to collect in game. They just want you to buy coins from them. Also, they have a system where you have to sometimes wait to play more unless you spend a lot of coins. That makes me just not want to play lol. They should halve the prices of most things and calm down with the ads.

It has pretty fair graphics for a pixelated game and can be fun to play. A problem is that it is kinda another one of those games that wants your money and has poor game structure. The missions you do are way too easy (I've done 50 without loosing) and there is no multi-player to make it fun, challenging and more intriguing. Developers if you read this, I hope you can make it harder, and set up an online/ multi-player mode. Also the custom battles are glitched because the numbers cant be set

This actually super fun! I love playing this game. The levels are challenging. All that's missing is a sandbox I would love that! And we need more coins for beating levels bc I dont get enough. But overall this game is fun I love it. Also the flamethrower dies to fast which makes sense. ANWAYS CARRY ON THIS IS GREAT. Oh forgot to mention it is annoying how you can only have 3 batches of troops in each trench add more please

Meh! Good game at first, but then the ads really pick up until you're seeing one every level!!! No rewards for watching ads!!! When you get through a set of stages, you either have to pay $300 coins which are already at a premium, or you have to wait 12 hours! If you choose to go back and replay levels to earn enough to pay the 300 or upgrade a unit, good luck! You earn like a third of what you got in the first place!!! Very addicting game, first play through!!! If you earned more I'd keep it!

Fun game surrounded by nonstop ads and paywalls. You have to wait 12 hours to unlock a new area or pay a bunch of coins that cost a lot of real world money. New units and upgrades are locked behind level requirements (makes sense) AND outrageous amounts of coins (doesnt make sense). For example, a new unit may cost 500 coins. You get 13 coins per level at the end of the region where you dont have to wait 12 hours to unlock the next. I'm not repeating the same level dozens of times.

you guys are really milking your "Free" game. considering that you earn at most 37 bucks or something each mission. Theres a lock on how many levels you can play at one time so your forced to put the overly simple game down for later. Not what it's for but okay. And there's only 80 missions? With other maps costing more than the game will EVER be worth? hate the mechanics and the fact that wheover made this game can't let people enjoy it. But instead pay for it. Great game. just Weak.

Basic ripoff of warfare 1917, which was a great game. Except this one is worse, because after unlocking a unit by beating the enemy, you still have to buy them before you can use them. And your rewards for each match are minimal. Oh, and after every single win, you're rewarded with a full screen unskippable ad. At this point I just close the app and reopen it whenever there's an ad because they're just so intrusive. I get games take work to make. But this isn't even an original idea.

Fun game. Kinda gets boring after a while. There are a variety of troops and vehicles so that gives it a boost. But it does take a while to get them. You can get the custom mode which I think is REALLY FUN but you only get it at level 20. But alot of people are talking about the ads. Its a mobile game what do you expect. Besides you only get ads after you finish the level and before it. Plus there all skip able. But reccomend downloading if you like strategy and war kind of games.

If you are familiar with the flash game warfare 1917 or 1944, this will seem extremely familiar, even using some of the same sound effects, but it is low effort recreation. Game play is abysmal, longest round I have ever had was about a minute or two, then a 30 second add after every round. They had a major opportunity to either increase difficulty or add multi-player. The game itself has potential, but major updates or features need to be added!

its not bad, but I'm not saying its great either. I'll start off with saying good things about this game, I love the sound, visual and the design of the units in the game. The gameplay ain't bad, but once I got enough money for the tank I didn't need to use the other units. I forgot to level up the tank and still managed to clear 1-2 section using the starting unit soldiers to back it up. I still had fun playing though, I hope there will be more added to the game!

Tldr: Fun and challenging until cheese This game is actually good and doesn't require you to pay up (a lot of praise for a mobile game). It provided a good challenge. Only problem is that if you save up for the tank instead of upgrades it makes the levels very easy. I have made it up to the level 50 by pretty much only using the tank, took away a lot of the challenge. Also most troop types aren't all that good, you pretty much only need the regular troopers.

First few levels are interesting until you start to get to the point where you figure out unlocking units is actually impossible without paying money, the game stops you from playing unless you pay or wait 12 hours for no reason whatsoever, and you get an ad between every 2 minute level. The gameplay is repetative, easy, and boring after the first 10 minutes. Don't waste your time

Fantastic game, reminds me of an old flash game back in the day. Definitely good for anyone feeling nostalgic, and there's way, way, way more levels than I had expected of this game. The sprites are all well drawn and fit the era (despite the Gunner being Rambo). However, in regards to that same character, it doesn't really feel like he uses a machine gun, and more like a high powered rifle. I hope this gets fixed, because right now the regular Riflemen appear to shoot faster than he does.

The game is fun at first, but the levels are extremely repetive and it is almost impossible to collect enough coins to buy more than the basic troops. Yet, i still found myself being addicted to this game until i completed it. The ads were annoying, but not game-breaking. Dont buy any of the DLCs, they arent worth it. Just play the free 80 levels because im sure the DLCs are the exact same thing but with a different background. Solid game, nothing special.

Honestly, great way to kill some time. I love WWI/Trench Warfare games & this is not a disappointment. Of course we all hate ads, but theyre so spread out you only hit them if you're playing through multiple levels at a time (which I do rarely cause I use this game to keep me entertained between breaks). If you're looking for something with strategy, excitement, and also a little fast-paced challenge (in the later levels) then there is no reason why you shouldnt download this game.

Pretty fun, like others have said it does get repetitive and once you figure out the strategy, it's easy to win, even without upgrading. This is a positive on one hand because the coins you gain are so low that its impossible to upgrade to any of the bigger units. I did find myself purposefully losing ground just to make the game more interesting.

[No pay player here.] This is a game with potential, but it's bogged down with repeativenss & power balance issues. The early levels are fairly engaging and do offer a bit of a challenge. However once you unlock the tank about 1/3 in of the 80 freebie levels you don't really need any other units. It becomes easy to win by spawning nothing but tanks and the enemy has no meanifull counter against them.The levels also become quickly repeative. Overall the levels need much more development.

I installed this game for some Nostalgia, as it reminds me of the old flash game. It also intrigued me that several reviews complained about difficulty and micro transactions. In quick summary, the game is... fine. It's fun enough in short bursts. Difficulty wise, I will say it isn't. Early I rushed unlocking the tank unit, and focused upgrading it, riflemen, and powers. I played every free level. Tanks trivialize the game; the AI doesnt use them against you and doesnt use abilities well enough

I have a serious question for yall. Id this game still in early development? Half the time you click upgrade troops it glitches and goes into the battle causing people to resart the game and it bugs out constantly after an ad. One last thing is the money system, what do yall have going on there? There is little money for completing and basically nothing if you revisit trying to get wnough for an upgrade.
