I've been using this app for a while and it was great, with a subtle ringtone. It updated yesterday and now it has this annoying ringtone and because I won't pay, I can't change it. If the ringtone doesn't go back to the previous one by tomorrow, I'm going to delete the app. The ringtone is worse than an alarm. Update: nothing else on my phone changed or updated, except the ringtone of this app. I'll delete it, as I'm not going to waste time reaching out in the app.

Great app! Makes it easy to track your hydration. After using the app for around 8 months, it broke and wouldn't let me add new hydration data. I notified support and they replied almost immediately at night and on a weekend, no less! Even better, they had the app working again within a few hours. That is spectacular customer service! Thank you.

I loved it. It's been a while since I was looking for a add to track my Water Drinking, and, to be honest. Two things that I was looking for on the Apps I tried; Clean Design and to work on my Smart Watch. WaterMinder is perfect. EDIT: I still love the App, but I think you guys are doing the "Gamefication" wrong. The daily achievements should not be deleted every day. I have no motivation in getting a Week or Month achievement, because they will be deleted. They should be accumulated.

I like the widgets that this app offers, but it's super glitchy and I can't always log things correctly. I wanted to track my caffeine intake, but that feature barely works. I can't log 240mg of caffeine for one beverage - have you ever heard of energy drinks?! I thought I'd want the paid subscription, but if I can't do what I want with the app, it's not worth it. If you fix the bugs, I'll reconsider.

This seems to be a very dumb and uncustomizable app. For example, you can only turn reminder notifications on or off. It notifies (and wakes me up) at 8am, And I do not believe there is any way to specify when the notifications start or the frequency. Also, when adding water, it gives you a short selection of things like water, 8 oz. Bud I log my water as my 24 oz bottle as I consume each bottle. I'm able to add a custom quantity of water, but that is several steps. Doesn't stick around.

Offers everything I need. Widget for quick-adds without opening the app, customizable water amounts so that updating water intake is quick and seamless, and super simple interface (with dark mode!). The ads (video + banner) became obnoxious after the free trial. That's the only reason I shaved a star. I've tried a ton of water apps, and this one has everything I needed, so I paid for the ad removal. But keep in mind that you *will* be dealing lots of them if you stick with the free version.

The notifications don't work right. I'm on the paid version. I'm not receiving notifications even though I have them set. I know I've allowed notifications from the app but for some reason it's still not working. Secondly, I can't tell exactly what makes this a "pro version". Also, the watch tile doesn't work correctly when you add customized water options. It always adds the incorrect amount. What's the difference? Other than ads, what are the upgrades that are included with the paid a version?

I like this app. From widgets to UI design to notifications. But with every new tracker there's yet another data silo, which is frustrating. I would need two features to make this a 5 star app 1) water intake write integration to samsung health, and 2) lifetime subscription at $5 not $15. Integration is available in other apps for free, I like this app and am willing to pay, but not $15 and not without S Health. IFTTT would be better, but that's expensive on the dev side, so unlikely to happen.

Not getting the reminder on time. Sometimes even after opening the app I don't get the reminder. Update: I have started getting reminders on time. But for that to happen I had to give the app unrestricted battery usage permission. Maybe the dev team can look for a way around so that we can get timely reminders without the unrestricted permission.

This is a wonderful app that helps remind me to drink water. It may sound silly but sometimes we all get too busy and need that reminder. And it lets me keep track of what I've drank for the day. Both things hello me meet my water consumption goals.

I tried 20 times to log in my water If I can't log in my weather intake because a window comes up "inviting me" to upgrade it means I have to pay what you said, even if I already paid for the free adds. There is no transparency! This is BS.

I started using WaterMinder when MyNetDiary's Wear app stopped synchronising with my phone. MND appears to have sorted this out now but I am still sticking with Water Minder as it provides more information and is super easy to use. The ability to customise drinks and then have them assessed for their hydration value is really interesting and also easy to use. I have the Wear app as the first tile on my watch so I can easily add specific drinks with just a screen tap.

Let me begin by saying I love the app, BUT you have to turn off background usage. I just upgraded from a Pixel 8 to Pixel 10 Pro XL, and once I enabled this app, my battery life started to suffer. I used the battery tools on the Pixel and it showed this app was using A LOT of battery in the background. I've turned it off to see if battery life improves and if so I will come back and amend this review

Keeps crashing when reopened. Only successfully opens after a crash or force stop.

I've been using the free version and I like the reminders. There could be easier options to customise the glass sizes (personally found it a bit more complicated than necessary) and he's, there are ads, but usually skippable and if you don't want to pay, you have to deal with ads of some form. I like the layout and design of the app too, it's nice and clear, easy to use and I can even add preset amounts from my pixel watch, to make it even easier

This app is really good at getting me to drink the correct amount every day. There are options about whether to be reminded when your hydration drops or you can set your own schedule. I have set up my own selection of drinks which are in the pick list and make recording my intake quick and easy, for those that I drink less often, there is an option for that too. I csn check what I have drunk in the past as well. I'm not good at keeping hydrated and this app really has made a difference.

Overall, a decent app with a nice UI. But, it would be great if I could get notifications only on my watch. Right now, I need to enable notifications for both mobile and watch.

I love this app! it's so fun being able to track your water intake and the premium isn't necessary to use the app comfortably (: it just adds plenty more features! I use it every day

I think the app is amazing, the best I've tried for this type of tracking. I'm just a bit sad because my phone broke, and, on the version I had there, I could use the widgets and the colorful little body on the free version, but not anymore. I started using this app specifically because it had a good widget. I'm rethinking it since the premium version is a bit salty for me right now. Anyway, great great job guys, great app

2025 update: Downloaded this app again and was really disappointed to see I'd now have to purchase something just to customize my drink volumes and options beyond the default water tea and smoothie. Immediate uninstall. 2021: The free version is great, very easy to enter fluids, lots of options available, and cute icons and colours for visual appeal. It has been even better since I turned off the "constant reminder" since always having an un-closeable notification was stressin' me out.
