New update is terrible! constantly crashes! I often hsve to click on the app 4 or 5 times

every time you try to watch it live it tells you to sign up even though you did already sign up. also it's not live it's like 20 minutes behind

For the past few day's I have had the same news stories. No new one's were unloading. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it said my device was not connected to the internet. When it was. I turned the Wi-Fi on my phone off and back on. Same thing. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Same thing.

with the new mobile app version , the prompt to view more news items doesn't work This addition is being written almost 2mos later.i could get no response to my original concern and recently figured it out for myself. in order to see more items in a particular category ( they don't tell you this ) you have to use the black menu screen and click on a category , then when you get to the last news item , then click on view more and then you will see more news items for that category.

Wavy 10 News is my go-to News Channel, buttt their mobile app is complete trash. The layout and the News itself are perfectly fine to me, buttt the short videos for each News Article are complete trash. They will either not play after the Add or they'll play about halfway and then stop to go on to the next Article's video, and you can't even go back to the Article's video unless you exit out of that page and reopen it. There are a few other issues but I don't have enough space to type them out.

Although I use this app for certain updates and notifications, it's very annoying. Along with their "new update," you have to deal with more and longer ads. For each page or story you view, you have to go through a 30-second ad for just 10 seconds of news.

This app sucks, and here's why: Get a notification about a local news story, cool. Click it to open the app. The app opens and gives you barely more information than the notification, asks you to "click here". Opens up website in browser, where you have to swipe past a pop-up. Then you get to read a paragraph, then you have to click a read more button to finish the story. What is tge point of having an app? why not just save the browser to my home page?

{[(2024)]}Since early August, I have been unable to use the app. When the app open, I immediately get a shaded screen that doesn't allow me to navigate your app. I uninstalled then reinstalled the app. Same issue/problem. This was my go-to for local news, but until it is fixed, I may have to find another app{[(2024)]} {[(2025)]}. I just downgraded my rating. Apparently, they don't care who uses their app. You just lost a loyal viewer WAVY. I've sent emails regarding this issue and nothing.

Very poor app for Android. Can't watch the news at 11pm doesn't allow you to watch it live. Buffers all of the time and has a blank screen that says we'll be right back. But never comes back. Not sure who was in charge of making this app but you may want another person that actually knows how to creat the app. 0 stars

I have Uninstalled the app. Every time I got notifications to something I'd like to read about or see, it NEVER works! unreliable source! I grew up with channel 10, always my first choice....until now

Often the app shows the WAVY logo, then shows a white screen with a blue bar at the top for a short time before the phone vibrates and becomes unresponsive.I have to hold the power button long enough to restart the phone to recover ANY function. Now (February 21, 2021) it complains this version is unsupported but in the Play Store there's no indication that there's an update (just offers "Uninstall" and "Open" on the app's store page). I guess I'll just have to switch to a competing broadcaste

This app sucks if you are actually trying to find local breaking news. After 5 ad popups you may find what you are looking for which could have been found easier and faster on a different app without ten ads blocking the screen.

I absolutely love the WAVY NEWS 10 App! WAVY NEWS 10 is my favorite source for news in Hampton Roads. I can look at what's happening wherever I go. I can look at the weather forecast as well. For some reason when using the app however, when trying to watch a live stream, the stream does not start to play.

UPDATE: I'm getting rid of this app. Gossip on the street is more detailed than what this app has to offer. Waste of time and buggy. Can't click pictures to zoom in. They have articles detailing how the police need help identifying suspects and give tiny pictures that you can't zoom in on. How stupid is that? So either everyone in Hampton roads is a suspect or this app isn't helping anyone at all....

Update 3/2/2022: the app is even worse. POS, doesnt even open now. Ive tried to reinstall many times. Does not work on android. I give up. . The new app is horrible. Doesn't load half of the time, not well organized and fonts too small. Way to ruin what was the best news app in Hampton Roads.

This app used to be functional, now it constantly freezes when viewing any article. And forget about streaming, freezes my phone too. I know it's y'all app because no other app freezes my phone. When can we expect a fix.

Pop up ads (which include videos that automatically play) and bad functionality. If I'm looking at the VA Beach news section, read a story and hit back, it takes me to the main page. I watch WAVY but this app is awful.

Horribly slow to load, if it loads at all. I get notifications of top news stories. When I click the notification, it attempts to open the app and it freezes on the app home screen.

This has been my go to app for years even when it was the old app. Now I can't get any information or updates because it freezes and stops working almost immediately. Y'all just did an update and it didn't help.
