WDRB News

This version isn't nearly as good as the old version, and i really don't think it was tested on Android. The share button is nearly impossible to use, the sub-headings for the different categories (news, sports etc) don't appear on the home page and are randomly available when you're in a story. Huge disappointment.

I've deleted and reinstalled this app and I still get 3 notifications every time one comes through I always get it 3 times, so annoying. Please fix. Update, I emailed what was asked for with zero response, why bother to monitor comments if you aren't going to actually do anything about the problem. Even lower rating if it were possible.

The app is pretty basic and the push notifications are incredibly annoying. There is a slight conservative bias in the reporting here, however, the investigative reporting is actually really good relative to other local news organizations.

Not a fan of the new update. Good news stories, but scrolling horizontally or vertically gives you the same stories. Also, do NOT like the weather category, not easy to find radar quickly and too much unuseful info. I don't want a replay of the morning weather report!

I get needing the app to stay informed since text ended, but needs an update before then to choose what notifications come thru. I only need weather alerts and school closings since I work in 4 counties. I don't care about UofL sports or whatever going on in Louisville. 5 to 6 notifications in 4 hrs is too much. Boo.

Unfortunately ran this app in unison until texts ended today and it is miserable fail no weather and no traffic ever come across this app ...It's an utter waste of time to download as does not give u what the texts did ... Not even close 😞 I will go elsewhere for traffic updates and weather.

Ok for news though only fully updated once a day. The weather Radar doesn't work anymore. It either doesn't load, doesn't show precipitation or just shows coding errors.

When I try to watch live, it takes me to chrome. There are ads blocking so you can't expand the picture size, pause, or enable captions. Basically the ad is blocking the bottom part of the video

I get notifications from them before any of my other news apps, but I wish I could select which notifications I get. Sometimes I have 10 or more of them, but 6 or 7 are things that I'm not really interested in.

Where's the Casting Button?? Three times a day I would cast the news to my TV, now it's disappeared with the update. I miss my WDRB!! Hey Marc, I'm on "Team Hold Out" for the button to return. I don't want any other news station!!!

the weekend is horrible you cant keep up with the weather no alerts or being able to go back and find out the mornings broadcast

Upload is slow. Once upload is complete watching live is impossible. it plays for 10 seconds than stops for 25 seconds and starts again. It's Horrible.

Rate it a zero if I could. Absolutely hate it. So user unfriendly. Time stamp covers up headline, top headlines cover up everything... Deleting it from my APPS.

I like the app but for some reason on my pixel 7pro the notifications won't group together when there is more than one. On my s24 plus and iphone 15 they get grouped together

The morning crew is my favorite. I downloaded it on my roku and firestick but it doesn't play at all. I used to watch in the morning while getting ready for work but now I'm forced to watch other news sites!

Why did you mess with something that worked ? I hate the new update. I can't get the livestream to expand. Used to watch it every morning getting ready for work. Switched over to channel 32 since the new update.

Trustworthy and informative news with a family feel of caring and understanding. The weather team is exceptional. You know Marc and his team have our best interests at heart. We moved from Chicago area 20+ years ago, and were used to a certain style of news. We are so glad we discovered WDRB, definitely worth watching.

Fantastic station, love the morning news and weather. I tune them in at 0600 and watching them till 10:00. WDRB is my only station to watch.

Your app needs alot of work! Tried watching the morning show at the derby and it either repeated its self froze or gor stuck on the commericals.. Big disappointment

I love to watch the morning team because each per person has such a fun and pleasing personality. Together, they are informative and entertaining.
