Weather the Trip

Super cool app! Pretty well executed from what I've seen so far. My only complaint would be that the pinch-zoom is way to rotation sensitive. If you're not pinching perfectly linearly it will rotate the map. And it rotates it a lot. Other than that, it's pretty accurate and delivers as promised (tested over a 18 hour road trip on the east coast).

Won't open UPDATE, installed again and it opened, working fine. I have not had a chance to compare the weather forcasts yet, however, I am very pleased to see many areas along my route reporting. That is a plus. A downfall is that I was only able to plan ahead 3 days. All in all, app is very helpful. I couldn't use the coupon as to do so, app requires a credit card and I don't do that. But thanks anyway.

Super helpful tool for planning long drives. It does exactly what you'd expect - gives you the weather forecast throughout your route based on the estimated time you'll be in any given place along the route. The ability to search for alternate routes is also handy

It gave me the option to put in what time I wanted to leave but then only gave me the route for the time I was looking it up! I wanted to compare weather at different times to plan my trip but the settings can't actually be changed for some reason...? It will only tell you what the weather is like at the time you are checking it so, yeah this did not work for me at all.

I like the app; shows promise. As a motorcyclist and "remote" programmer, I commonly travel goodly distances (last week I was in NH, now in MI, 2 weeks GA) often jump between hyper-local wthr maps & Google's to nav (or sit-out) storms. I'm looking for is a route-planner that includes weather-types (i.e. rain, t-storm) as obstacles (like a temp road closure), route around the forecasted weather. In essence, I don't want to just know the weather, I want to avoid it (e.g. by circling behind it).

# Essential Road Trip App! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Weather the Trip has become my go-to app for any road trip planning. Unlike regular weather apps that only show your destination, this shows weather conditions along your entire route. ## Personal Experience: Last weekend I planned a trip from Memphis, TN to Atlanta, GA. Standard weather showed clear skies at both ends, but Weather the Trip revealed a severe thunderstorm would hit right around Birmingham during my planned arrival at the city, and saved me!

At first i thought this app was a 5 star, but now this app isnt accurate, i want a refund, there is a high weather advisory right now and the app is stating no weather to report not a good app to use when weather is bad. Its not updating with national weather watch, app was about to send me into a high wind gust that could have possibly blew my truck over. Not good not good. Summer time im sure is better to use but not during winter monthd for truck drivers.....

Works. Configuring the trip is a little confusing at first, but not bad. Not able to edit a trip, you have to start over. I'm trying to figure out if I should take off Friday night or Saturday morning, so it's a hassle to reset the trip (and watch a very short ad) every time.

Simple and appears to work well. I haven't tried it in a real trip yet to see how accurate it is, but I assume that it is. One feature that should be easy to implement would be a way to edit the current trip versus starting over. A little more difficult but very helpful feature (opportunity for a paid app?) Would be a trip planner that could suggest optimal departure times based on travel hours, and arrival date/time or waypoint date/times. Go from x to y stopping in w and z, etc.

Wow! It is exactly what I needed even though I didn't know I needed it! I'm taking a 14hr trip tomorrow and punched in the time and date and it gave me a play by play forecast for what looks like every so many minutes! Including easy to identify forecast photos along the route with precip type and probability! It's exactly what I needed! Thank you WTT! SOLID 5⭐!

Can't even use it. Trying to enter a starting or destination point completely freezes and locks up my keyboard which covers half the screen (using Gboard). Have to (difficultly) navigate, find, and force stop both this app and my Gboard.

Doesn't work!! Deleted and reinstalled x 2. Absolutely nothing comes up when clicking on Select Your Route. Done wasting my time.

I used it earlier this and it was free. Now i either have to watch an ad or pay for it. So its a okay ad for some. But i will be deleting it.

This app helps me to plan for my trips I know exactly how to pack. I also use it to dress for work every day. I am sensitive to cold weather conditions. If I do not have the right footwear, .my ankle will stiffen up during the work day

Exactly what Ive been looking for! Works well and not bloated with adds and extra things that could distract from the functionality. Great work!! Thank you!

Only allows you to do a few days out will not let you do like other apps where you can go maybe 10 days out. Too many ads.

A "free" app that you literally cannot use unless you pay for it after already downloading it is fn useless. Cheap tricks.

Useless for planning a future trip. I input tomorrow's date for starting time, and it shows todays weather. I uninstalled it.

Can't even use the app because it requires a subscription or watching ad which is ridiculous

Hit me with Fullscreen Galaxian ad with no way to get back to the app... Force close, uninstall...
