Webster's Thesaurus

I wanted a simple thesaurus, not a dictionary. I didn't want texts, alerts, notifications, and ads asking for $13 in 30 days. Honestly, sometimes these app developers just can't see that people are willing to pay for the simple things... No one wants to highlight a word, from Fourier to choose this app, switch to that app and search for an alternate meaning after 3 screens. Simply frustrating. Deleted.

I used to like using this dictionary and Thesaurus in high-school but now you have to pay for the full version. I never understand why everything has to be behind a paywall now, I'll go back to using the browser to look up my Thesaurus because this app isn't it anymore. -2 for a "free" trial you still have to pay for.

The word "appearing" did not appear. How ironic. 1 star. Needs to be fixed. Immediately hit with ad?? I should have given it -1 just for wasting my time. $12.99?? Forget your app. Easier to use a web browser by that point. If changes are made, maybe I'll come back around. Obviously people like this with 3.9 rating. 🤷‍♂️

Blocked after a couple of months, they want me to pay $12, but is it a scheme ? I want an online thesaurus that is mine for life, offline, just like my papper thesaurus, not enroll in yet another time wasting marketing scheme, with constant destructive updates and planned obsolescence. How's that for a "5 stars review"? (the only menu item that is not blocked in their App)

I just can't seem to open this app, and ONLY THIS APP, without it going into AIRPLANE MODE!!! HUH??? So, obviously, I cannot use it. Wish I could give it Zero stars. In the meantime, the entire screen is covered in ads, and if I DO TRY to change it from airplane mode, no matter where I click, I hit an ad. Just a terrible app!!!

Not worth the download. while functional at first it is only a 'limited trial' before you are required to purchase a $12.99 subscription to continue using the app, which does not even store any information offline unless you purchase the subscription which makes it useless if you are on limited data or have no connection. Avoid even downloading and don't waste your time.

The first qnd only word I looked up was duality being unsure of the spelling I tried a possible ways and got nothing so I went to Google to look up the spelling qnd once I knew I had yhe correct spelling I returned to the app to see how it compared and it kept saying there was no results. So 8f it can't find such a simple word I can only imagine that so many more have to be missing making it useless since if the word word searched is within the app its probably missing others with similar mean

Wants permission to access to photos and other functions that a thesaurus does not need to look up words. I denied access and it does not load. I uninstalled it. Consider the one star as a negative integer. I have to rate with at least one star, or you can not post. 🤬

I was under the impression that I was downloading a Thesaurus. I'm either too old (66) or too technologically incompetent in the operation of this particular application.... I am unable to find ANY information regarding the usage of a Thesaurus...... from my personal experience..... it-is-only-a- dictionary!!

Downloaded it as a thesaurus. It is not. It used to be. I hadn't used it in a while, so imagine my surprise. I suppose there may have been an option to purchase the thesaurus, but I wasn't interested in buying it if there was. Too bad. They need to change name.

Why does a thesaurus demand access to my "files" and "CAMERA?" The camera and PHOTOS? And if I'm PAYING $13, why do you still get to sling more customized ADVERTISING at me? "Advertising Cookies. Advertising Cookies are used to serve you with advertisements that may be relevant to you and your interests." If I'm paying $13 for a thesaurus app, I get last call on whether you bombard me with EXTRA ADVERTISING. That's insane. And your USER INTERFACE is child-like.

This is NOT a thesaurus!! It is ONLY a dictionary. The name/title of this app is VERY misleading! I would not give it any stars if I could but it makes you select at least one although it is not deserving of the one that I had to give it!

I purchased the premium features for this app on 4th may. But it's still asking me to pay and saying trial period over and shutting off. Sent mail to support on 5th. Got auto reply that they'll come back in 1-2 days. It's 11th may today. No reply yet. Please remove the expedited support for prem customers claim from your description.

It's a soso app. Keep looking up words that are not included in it. I want this type of app to include words that I want to know about not just common ones. It's has just enough words to make it annoying.

trial. I downloaded it and guess I never realized it was a trial. it was useful I guess but def not worth the $13 it costs after the trial period. I feel like the ads more than support the app and it should just be free. uninstalling

There are no hints, let alone instructions, to navigating this app! I've tried for an hour to access the thesaurus to find a synonym for resistance.

This #$@& app no longer works right. I got a PAID copy of the thesaurus, and it now takes me to the dictionary and demands $13 for a lifetime license to use that. What happened to the thesaurus I purchased??? Given their performance so far I'm not going to be sending any more money their way.

good app. At least,after purchasing its access should be offline. whenever I want to use it offline, it always suggest to download data. I am tired of downloading it again and again. Please improve it so that once data is downloaded, it should be available offline forever.

A dictionary or thesaurus app has absolutely no need 2 have access 2 an individuals camera, photos, or voice recordings! Alarming & Precarious 2 say the least! Interestingly enough, I attempted 2 download this app again, 4getting that I had once b4. As it asked me 4 permissions 2 my personal data, My thoughts were precisely wht I obviously said once b4! I guess Evil has its intentions of more Evil. Obviously they have zero interests in changing this 4 the very reasons I said above -0 STARS

What a scam! First of all, a thesaurus shouldn't require permissions. You can't actually use it without a form of payment or promo code. Uninstalled immediately, waste of time.
