The weather is too cold to go outside to buy groceries. I decided to buy online instead. This retailer states that my order will arrive in 2 days. All of my purchased frozen items was "failed" for delivery (unknown reasons). The rest of groceries were PARTIALLY delivered. I was hoping that I would receive the entire order on that same day so I could cook meals for the party, but I didn't. WHAT A FRUSTRATION! I told my friends not to order from Weee! again.
The shopping part is easy and manageable. Everything else is the problem from posting reviews, changing pictures, and making posts. I can't just post something without uploading a video or somethig. As for posting reviews, it's gets super laggy for me and posting pictures along with my review can sometimes take forever. Also, I wish there was a process to edit the review before a certain time period. It's just once it's posted or submitted, you can't edit it. It takes too long to change photo.
Great app for buying Asian snacks. However, it often forces you to buy a certain quantity of items. Say you want to try a flavor of chips you've never had before. You ended up hating that flavor, but the app forced you to purchase 3 bags, so now you're stuck with 3 bags of chips you hate. It's so silly. Because of this my orders often end up having less variety than I'd like. The 5 dollars it made me spend on multiple of the same item could have gone to trying something else.
2 orders in a row where item was missing - it feels like they run out and decide not to include it. App is hard to navigate, frustrating to browse. After order is placed, there's not a good way of tracking your order: there's estimated delivery time in order preview but not when you tap into the individual order. Also, I turned off all push notifications but I still get them.
Not the best app, but I might not be the best user. :) I think there's room to make the app better, but the app is fairly intuitive. The best part is that I can get all my favorite Asian groceries delivered to my door. Some stuff are super good! Some stuff are just okay... just as you would expect if you were shopping experience. It's just the chance you take for requesting grocery delivery. Some things arrived bad... for those items, Weee was quick to respond and provide a refund.
The app unreliably shows items being out of stock and thus removed from my cart. I placed an order thinking that I haven't bought the item. 2 days later I decided to check back and saw the item was in stock so I placed an order for it. Ended up receiving 2 of the same items. Asked for a refund and offered to return the extra item but was met with a "We have confirmed that the item was not out of stock when you placed your first order". Ok, I guess I have to take your word for it?
best grocery delivery hands down..great prices, fresh produce, fantastic packaging and delivery, and all kinds of things I wouldn't normally be able to get. now they've added prepared foods, it's a whole new ball game! it's hit or miss but love trying new things. caution, not everything on the app is from Weee direct, so that may incur separate, additional shipping costs. I try to avoid those shops when I can unless it's something I really want and can't get elsewhere. love Weee!
Every order has missing items and they won't return money I wanted to love this app so much but the customer service is horrendous. I tried various orders each week. 75% of my orders have items missing. And the worst part is they only let you submit one item for missing. I ordered hotpot meat, 3lbs. of beef and 1 lb. of lamb and ALL were missing from my order. Yet they won't even refund me for the items that didn't ship. I've had it with these guys. They clearly are screwing people.
Same problem as others have stated. I am not able to checkout because the app is unable to verify my address. Sent an email to customer support and they weren't able to resolve the issue. No other app I've used has this issue. I'm betting I will get the same generic response to this review as others have had as well..... to send more information to get the issue resolved. You have my emails and information. Just fix the issue.
Long time Weee app user here. I have been shopping the app with my wife for years. Every order we bought enough for free shipping. However, they have changed the site structure. Weee no long lists themselves as a seller, and each seller has an amount you need to spend with that Specific Seller to get free shipping. This makes using the app much more difficult, and we have nearly stopped ordering because of this change. The app would be 5 stars if it was still free shipping by cart cost.
App has potential, but it was poorly executed. Good for people looking for restaurant food, snacks, and packaged meals, but not helpful for grocery shopping e.g. small quantities of everything, including rice. Limited variety in fresh produce and no way to shop by supermarket. The navigation and overall layout was not designed with the customer in mind; a bit too business-centric.
Skeptical at first, but surprised. I don't live in a very residential area, and so mine doesn't work like Instacart, but rather as if I were ordering food from Amazon. My first order arrived in 4 days, and everything was well packaged and good quality. Nothing expires till next year, and everything was as described. I will definitely be ordering again soon.
Great App. Weee even allows small window for add-ons; same products in the Asian stores; prices are similar, some can ve higher; they run sales and periodically offer coupons. Frozen products and fresh produce come with ice packs. One thing I don't like is you must take a picture in order to review an item. I think they should enable App to verify your purchase and allow reviews without taking a picture, because it's annoying.
Convenient, but pretty pricey: I really do like this app for just how convenient it is to order Asian groceries. It does get really pricey for the quantity that is involved, in which I do think it's somewhat worth it, but the prices on certain food items could go down a bit. Options and delivery: The options are somewhat limited (and understandably so with buying stocks and supplies), but great options to pick and choose from. The delivery is very good and the packaging is of absolute quality.
I've been using this app to order groceries from for awhile. There's a lot of good stuff to say about them. Lots of options, there's rebates to lower your costs, customer service is good and will refund you if items are missing or not fresh. They sent out surveys, and they listen. Since there's now other culture's food besides Chinese. The only bad thing is that this app eats so much of my phone's battery when I use it. Way more than my other apps and I'm not even on the app for that long.
I got up at 5am to place my order because they said they were going to release new delivery spot every Friday at 5am. I couldn't open the app and always freezed on the welcome screen. I tried to close and reopen and still could get it through. The best situation was allowing me to enter the Zipcode and loading forever with no results. Very disappointed.
Placed the order but the items were still in cart. So I thought the payment did not get through and placed another order. When I found out and call them to cancel duplicate order a day ahead of delivery. They told me they will charge me $15 cancellation fee. Ridiculous policy as they have not even starting to pack and deliver groceries yet. And I mistakenly placed the 2nd order merely due to the bug in their system.
Overhyped! I kept seeing their ads and reviews says its performing well. I did try and delivery time kept changing. Then you would suddenly see an email saying driver cant reach you contact them (they would give a number which is a 510) not an 800. Once you contact them, they say package went back to warehouse contact customer service, and when you do (through email) in 15 min you would suddenly receive a refund you did not requested. These all happened in a day. WHAT A MESS!
I wish I could give this 0 stars. Ordered on 1/28. Delivery was supposed to be on my doorstep on 1/31 (tracking and app said it would be). In app tracking says my order is (still) 18 minutes away. It's been saying that for over a week now. Contacted customer support on 2/7/2022. They said my small order would be delivered that night (of 2/7). It's now the day after and I have yet to receive my order or any notifications regarding it (ie. Delays etc).
They have poor quality control and poor customer service. They said they have easy returns but that's a lie. Most of my frozen items came defrosted, I showed pictures and they want me to repackage everything and return it back in order to get my refund. I used to recommend this app but never again! Don't order frozen items unless you want defrosted items. Other items are ok, vegetables are sometimes good and sometimes not fresh. Order at your own risk, i'm done giving them chances. Bye.
