Changing store locations should not be this frustrating! When you open the app, by default it shows you the location you're looking at in a blue box. There's 3 dots in that blue box that you can click to see a list of stores to change your location, however, those 3 dots are almost never there. They're only there the first 3 seconds of the app being open. If you're fast enough, you can click on it but it's the same thing, you now have 1-2 seconds to change your store before the button goes away.
This app is useless!! Cannot log in on the app. It doesn't recognize my password and log in information. Only can log in through the website. What good is an app if all you can do is look at the items the store offers without ability to do anything? Fix the app or don't have some BS app to download and then doesn't work. What a waste. FIX YOUR APP WEIS!
Waste of time junk. Most items on circulars are not selectable so you don't know what "select varieties" are on sale. Coupon section is the same. When you select one, you don't get a list of what "select varieties" are eligible. When scrolling the coupons, the app gets jumpy and hurts the eyes. (I have a new Google Pixel so it's not the phone). There's A LOT of work needed on this app. All your competitors have fixed these types of issues. Right now shopping here is too much work.
"Device isn't compatible" Been using the app for years. Buy as much as possible at Weis to support "local" grocery store. App just updated. Now I get "Your device isn't compatible with this version". Since I now don't know how much anything costs and can't see any coupons or weekly ads, I get to buy more stuff at Walmart and Aldi. Fix your app. Not everyone has a brand new phone.
10/27/24 update: When I try to open the app, there's a message that it needs to be updated. I click on "update" and my options are to uninstall or open. Not helpful. The app worked great until the latest update. Now, it won't load my information. It keeps telling me I have to update the app, but there is no option to update when you click the link. I keep getting a message that things failed to load. Great update! 🙄
What the heck happened?!? I was able to log in, spend too much on groceries and pick a time and pick them up at the appointed time! Yesterday I logged in and I was able to make a grocery list, go to the time requested. When I went to pay for everything, all my saved info, address, weis card number, credit card wasn't in there. It stated i had to create an account!! So I did. No luck. Hubby and I have problems walking so pick up was convenient. Please fix this!!
I have told Weis repeatedly how poorly this app functions. Its search engine is Neanderthal; items one can regularly purchase in the physical store are not listed; and if one wants 6 potatoes or 8 tomatoes, and does not know how many are in a pound, it isn't possible to convert "pounds" to "each," if the price is per pound. If you're ordering from your established list and search for something, the search engine returns you to the top of the list, rather than where you left off.
Every click takes ten seconds to register, so it's like using an app in slow motion. Spent thirty minutes building a cart for delivery. Had to manually uncheck Allow Substitutions on every item (allergies - I don't want a substitute I can't use). Go to log in. Fails. Try to reset password. Fails. I can't do anything with this - this is the third time I've tried to use this app for anything and it's a complete mess.
Please add a built-in QR scanner so I don't have to use my cell's camera and go to a webpage in my browser, the coupons can be scanned and added directly within the app?!? Also, please add a "clip all" option for the e-coupons? That'd be a LOT easier for people who are too time pressed to scroll through hundreds of coupons - just clip all and use what we want and let what we don't sit and expire. Thank you! <3
Complete garbage app. If I have to swap apps for a second the cart gets erased. It would never let me login and always forced me to change my password (no I didn't forget it) just so I could order anything from it. It slow, has permanent loading symbols on every other page, and most of the time just functions poorly. I only got to use it one time with zero issues and every time since leaves me with no choice but to go to the store and do it myself. Screw this app.
It was nice while it lasted, but like the others say, now you're in a loop to update. Idk if it's related but if you have the Amazon shopping app, there's now a tab (for me at least) for weis. We might need to use that if we want to continue online shopping at weis, unfortunately. If this ever changes or is untrue please let me know so I can change my rating.
I never write bad reviews, however, this app is not user friendly at all. The search function is slow and the page freezes or places you at the bottom after searching forcing you to scroll up. Horrible compared to similar stores and apps. App refuses to accept loyalty cards despite even having ordered a new one as suggested. Refuses to allow a delivery order without the loyalty card, so even though I have been a customer for nearly 20 years, I can't order delivery with my number.
This app is just awful! Glad to see it's not just me having issues! It keeps crashing everytime I click on a coupon! On top of that I now have to waste even more time clicking on EACH individual coupon to clip it! Before I could just go down the list. Yeah it was slow but it worked. I don't have time to look at each coupon when there's 100 of them! Add a damn click all button already!!! It doesn't save the store location or my log in info anymore either.
This app is frustrating... When you search for products it's hit or miss if the app finds item. For example, I just searched 1st for balsamic vinegar with no luck, so I tried just vinegar. I was told there were no such products. The coupon section is annoying and slow. You click to save, it it lags while adding and you have to wait for a pop-up "added" graphic to go to the next one.
This app use to be "ok" for creating shopping lists. It was nice because I can browse the stores inventory and add items to my list. But it seems lately that their item search feature has gone downhill. I no longer get successful results. It freezes a lot and the process to add items to a list is painful. Please just copy what Wegmans does! Their app is great.
Needs improvements. Not sure why they felt the need to add a whole pop up to let you know a coupon was added every single time you add a coupon, but...... Annoying. It's not easy to find your loyalty card number. And the points..... Forget it. Edit.... Wow!! Now, not only is the pop-up still there, but now they've made it so that you have to DISMISS the pop-up for every single coupon you add. Ridiculous.
App does not have any search cross-referencing. Although it gives suggestions, when you choose one of the suggestions, it says "no products found". I've even had to purposely misspell an item to find it! Very broad searches still do not yield what I KNOW to be in stock, and narrowing the search gives you virtually no choices. It is painfully slow, will not keep a scroll through in progress, pops you back to beginning once you load something to list. Takes me three hours to make a grocery list!
What good is an app with a bunch of grainy, out of focus pics of the items that you can't even zoom in on? The point of shopping from your phone is so you can see everything and make a choice from the phone and not have to hold the item to get the pertinent info. Your app makes it more difficult than it should be. If you need help figuring out how it should be, open the Giant app and see how much nicer and easier it is to use than your app. They have multiple pictures of the items that are CLEAR
Every single time I want to use an e-coupon, there's an issue. There's no barcode to scan the coupon when I pay so what's the point of Weis doing e-coupons when it NEVER works! This is a flaw in the app and needs to be fixed. It really gets frustrating having to always get an employee to help or the cashier has to stop ringing up to get confirmation on the coupon sale and it holds up the line. Weis, please fix!
ZERO STARS! Added coupons won't work, and some will actually show up as "applied" if you purchase the item despite them NOT giving you the discount. Try to contact them through the app, and it launches your browser. Unfortunately, you now get a "blocked" message claiming that something you entered triggered a security response, and you're blocked from their site. Nice scam. How much are you pocketing from coupons you submit on behalf of customers that pay full price? I won't be returning.
