Western Union Money Transfer

It is convenient to use WU to send cash but it is expensive compared with wise for example. The app has always been fairly awful, although I just did a transfer and it seemed fairly straightforward for a change. Why do they have ads on the app?? To make money of course.. I do make a regular payment to a bank account, I put in the bank account number of the recipient and Western Union use XXXX̌XX to hide the number I inputted from me. It is also a very slow app.

I downloaded this app because I don't always have time to go in the shops to sent money. the first time it somehow work. money sent then refund back then I try again and it work. I was really happy. now it's taken me two days trying to send money and everything payments method keeps saying can't use. I finally used klarna methods and it's still on holding even though my account shown transfer made. very stressful.

The intended recipient has not yet received the funds I transferred. Could you please clarify why the transaction appears as available but remains incomplete? one hour and 15 minutes has gone by and the receiver has not received my money by mobile wallet and I have not received a confirmation email from Western Union. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter.

I don't usually give bad ratings to an application, but this app is causing me so much hassle, because of it I have been locked out of my account when trying to open it on my Samsung galaxy s10 lite, I have double and treble checked my password, I have disabled my vpn so I'm showing from my country still no access, all I get is some lame error message saying check your details, when I use the same details to login on the Web without my vpn I get into my account without any issues..

It's still a bit clunky, but since the last facelift the app seems to work much better. The service from Western Union, has always been great, I've never had any issues sending money abroad. I just wish the app was a little more intuitive.

this app deserves zero. so many hours wasted. simple things they make so complicated. just waste of time. I never give zero to anything but this app is rubbish and deserves even less than zero really slow. keeps crashing. doesn't work. same as bank fees. waste of time and money.

when I started using the App it was ok but now its keeps freezing or when you reach payments method it returns back to the main App page to restart again also sometimes i send money home the receiver does not receive zhe money..i have uninstall and re install the App to keep trying but still did not get anwhere...today i tried for 3 hours and still getting the same results so I have opted for another money transfer app that have i finally sent the money home..feeling relieved and stress free..

I keep trying to send a new amount (1,000), and right at the end of the transaction, it asks, " Check and re-enter your first name." I have done this several times, and still, it persists that I re-enter my first name. Please help sort this out.

have been using this service without issue for a few years now. Time to give the app a review. it's been a Godsend when needing to send funds urgently. and very convenient

Easy and practical to use as I can use anytime, anywhere. Also cheaper from the App and gain time.

disappointed, fees and exchange rates are attractive but are modified during some steps. I have captures a print screen where using the WU points to reduce 2€, the fees are increases +2€ ... so there's no real discount. Also for the exchange rate, i got 1€ = 2301 COP and when continuing the rates goes to 2234 COP!!!

2 laggy and slow and key presses take ages to register. tell me half an hour to get a transfer. jan 2026 extra note the app is much easier to use and faster than the PC. but I don't understand why you are asking to verify my relationship with myself when I send money to my own account.. "relationship to sender," should have "me" or something. what if the job thing changes, how do you know?

Service works but advertising transfers as ,,receiver gets it in minutes" is false... There is a whole verification process before it can be received and it lasts much longer

All is good untill you need to switch apps for the transaction confirmation. In this case Western store transaction to drafts and unloads itself. And you need to confirm transaction once more :)

It is working fine. But it is really slow. Evan digits are input very slow and tsked lots of time.

Used to be reliable, now recent glitch causing a loop. Not accepting payment details. very frustrating.

I have been using this since 2006. Great service. some times rates are not compitative but when it comes to its speed, it does great job

Though I'm still waiting to get confirmation from my receiver, the transfer process was focused on verification and authentication to avoid scams and fraud which I applaud for. Great job the WU

Unable to do anything because they refused to verify me. Called their customer care and I was told to do the process of verification again, but then the same thing was repeated. No feedback, no verification, no transaction possible. It's literally useless. Update: After all these days, nothing has been done still. Customer care has no idea and decided to deactivate my account. Told me it's ok if I don't want to use their service anymore. Never in my life

I made a mistake sending money to a wrong number by just one digit mistake. I immediately contacted the customer service who intend told me they are working on it and provided me a number. Nothing was sorted out and they sent the money to the wrong number without verifying the recipient name after paying 1.99 processing fee . unresponsive and rude customer service
